What is an Upgrade Item in Genshin Impact?

Upgrade items are a special kind of item that help Pokemon evolve. They can be obtained by spinning Pokestop discs, or as rewards for events related to evolution.

They can be incorporated into armor, weapons trinkets, weapons, or gathering tools to provide additional effects or stats. Certain upgrades have a cosmetic effect.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be incorporated into trinkets, weapons, armors and weapons to provide a bonus effect or a special feature while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained as rewards, or even dropped. They can provide a range of bonus effects such as increasing the speed of gathering or bringing in more materials. Inscriptions can also alter the name of an item, for instance changing the name of a sword to "Fiery Sword" by adding a Sword Pommel of Fortitude inscription, or adding a Rune of Minor Vigor suffix to make it 'Canthan Armor Of Minor Vigor'.

Glyphs

Glyphs represent a concept or idea through character symbols. A glyph can be an image or a drawing such as a flag or heart. These symbols can also be used to create an entire visual language. A glyph may also have a standard code that is used by all fonts to indicate it. This code is called a Unicode.

A glyph's shape dictates to which Primary Stats and Secondary Stats can be added. Some glyphs will have both Primary and Secondary Stat bonuses, while others will have only one or the other. The glyphs with both Secondary and Primary stats will increase the stats of the entire unit, whereas ones with just one Primary Stat bonus increase the stat values.

Utilizing glyphs is simple. Press and hold the point of insertion for text to open the Glyphs panel, then choose the glyph you want to insert. View All Glyphs allows you to view an entire list of glyphs. The glyphs are listed in the order of their Unicode code and you can choose the one you wish to add by clicking it.

When you create a new glyph set, it is saved with other InDesign preferences in a file that can be shared. The glyphs are not attached to any particular document, and you can edit them using Edit Glyph Set from the Glyphs panel menu. You can also specify if the glyphs will remember their fonts when you insert them into text.


Rare glyphs are essential for your build and you should begin farming them as soon as you can. They are frequently found in World Tier 3 dungeons, Nightmare Dungeons, Helltides, and other endgame content. They are more accessible than the rare shards that you can get by crafting items, and provide an upgrade to your gear. Rerolling
