What Is Item Upgrade? And How To Make Use Of It

Upgrades can sometimes increase the stats of a piece and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available.

For instance, the premium shield of racial violence Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradable than the non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens permit you to reroll a purchased item, such as armor, weapon, or ring. The item is replaced with an identical item however with different benefits. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't keep the original level of the item and any wasted resources aren't rewarded.

The surviving players can acquire reroll tokens in several ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in chests and crates or buy them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute on a piece of equipment, such as increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
