Detours and brother's friend sees her and talks, they seem to both like each other but he explains that he can't as her brother is his friend
When she returns to flat her brother is lying on couch, he seems angry that she turned off her phone and almost strangles her with her arm giving her a warning
Fight scene, Lady loses the fight and Marieme tries to help her up but she tells her to leave it, holding her hand is her brother's friend, they then meet in a flat close and kiss
She's clearly doing a bit of cleaning with her mum, you see the contrast between her stylish Nike basketball boots and cleaner's uniform she wears when pushing cart down hallway
Mum's boss comes to see Marieme in locker room, tells her that she'll hire her for summer and starts tomorrow, then Marieme shakes hands with boss but intimidates her into telling her mum that she instead won't actually need her
Boys mock Lady about fight being online etc and Marieme suggests they go get her, Lady gets angry and says she decides
3 girls order at cafe, then start arguing with other girls who are clearly aware of who they are and of Lady getting beat up as they talk about cutting off hair etc, then they meet another friend in cafe with baby, she was the old 4th, the one that Marieme has clearly replaced
Marieme stands at window and sees her BF but he's obv meeting her brother instead
Marieme arranges to fight the girl they beat up Lady, at first it seems like the other girl will win but then Marieme throws some hard jabs to her face which dazes the girl, she gets her clothes off and reveals her in her bra to her embarrassment, she then takes out the knife the Lady gave her and cuts off the girl's red bra
The girls then run away happily in the rain, Lady appears and is not happy, she claims that Marieme did it for herself
When she returns she and her brother laugh about her 'wasting' the 'vigneux' chick and play their game
Marieme wakes up middle of night and goes to Ishmeal's, asks him to undress and then caresses his body
Now a big group of the girls, mainly all black, hang out at quatre temps, they have dance off thing, then Marieme sees her sister and group of girls trying to mug white woman, hits her sister and she compares Marieme to their brother
I think that at this point Marieme begins to see that her sister is going to turn out the same way as her, she tells her sister to stay away from the group of girls? But how can she say that when she was the exact same with her friends when she mugged that girl in the playground for them? The girls ask why she's going and she says that's just how it is, they ask if they'll see her tomorrow and she says "we'll see".
Her brother comes home and has clearly found out she's been sleeping with his friend, Marieme locks her sister out the house in order to protect her from 'getting it too', he says 'comme une pute' that he fucked her like a slut, he cares how he'll look and how people will see her
Marieme goes to a cafe alone and drinks, a man called Abdou has ordered her some food and says that she shouldn't drink without eating, she seems to know whom he is but he doesn't know of her, he offers her a lift back home but she refuses, he says "solide et solitaire" strong and alone
Marieme packs a bag which makes it look as if she will be leaving, she steals money from her brother's room, she meets Abdou in the cafe again and he tells her that he knows her brother and that he's a good guy, he says that he's tough on her for her own good
Marieme seems to have accepted some kind of job with Abdou, he tells her she would only get reform school at 16 which gives us the impression the line of work is criminal
She meets up with the girls and tells them of Abdou's proposition, they know all about abdou's jobs for girls, although rather than that, she's going to be selling (drugs, we suppose), she tells them that she'll be placed in another neighbourhood
The girls lie on the bed and reminisce, anecdotally Marieme reminisces of a time that they went to disneyland and how happy they were
We see the first scene of Marieme out on her new job, she seems to be in some kind of disguise dressed in a red dress and a short blonde wig walking into a fancy 'on the list' party selling to a girl
She goes back to a car after this with a guy picking her up, she then is seen with people in a house having pizza and watching football, her appearance seems totally different than before and her hair is braided
One of the boys says that he's into Marieme's old friend, Lady, when Lady is mentioned, Marieme doesn't look so happy, she tells them that she doesn't see her old friends anymore, the boy tells her she's working somewhere called 'fontaine'
