An abnormal third trimester cerebroplacental ratio has been previously associated with adverse perinatal outcome. The less studied inverse of the cerebroplacental ratio, the umbilicocerebral ratio, has been proposed as a better predictor of adverse perinatal outcome. However, little is known about the implication of either an abnormal cerebroplacental ratio or umbilicocerebral ratio in the second trimester. The objective of this study was to evaluate the relationship between an abnormal second trimester cerebroplacental ratio and adverse perinatal outcome and provide comparison to an abnormal second trimester umbilicocerebral ratio.

This retrospective cohort study in a single tertiary referral center utilized data from all non-anomalous singleton pregnancies that underwent Doppler assessment of the cerebroplacental ratio between 20 and 28 weeks gestation. The study period was 1 January 2015 to 31 July 2018. Abnormal cerebroplacental ratio was defined as less than the 5th percentile for gestational age. Ifinatal outcome. However, the predictive ability of either ratio remains suboptimal. This meta-analysis explored the effects of sodium bicarbonate supplementation on swimming performance. Seven databases were searched to find relevant studies. A random-effects meta-analysis of standardized mean differences (SMD) was performed to analyze the data. Nine studies were included in the review. There was no significant difference between placebo and sodium bicarbonate when considering data from all included studies (SMD -0.10; p = 0.208) or in the subgroup analysis for 91.4-m and 100-m swimming tests (SMD 0.11; p = 0.261). In the subgroup analysis for 200-m and 400-m swimming tests, there was a significant ergogenic effect of sodium bicarbonate (SMD -0.22; p  less then  0.001; -1.3%). Overall, these results suggest that sodium bicarbonate ingestion improves performance in 200-m and 400-m swimming events. The ergogenic effects of this supplement were small, but they may also be of substantial practical importance given that placings in swimming competitions are commonly determined by narrow margins.
To assess the long-term impact of early COVID-19 lockdown phase on emergency psychiatric consultations in two psychiatric emergency departments located in Italy.

We conducted a cross-sectional study comparing the number and characteristics of emergency psychiatric consultations during post-lockdown with respect to the lockdown period. Sociodemographic data, clinical characteristics, referred symptoms, diagnosis, information on multiple psychiatric consultations and hospitalisation were collected.

A rise of almost 60% in emergency psychiatric consultations during the post-lockdown compared to the lockdown period was observed. Emergency psychiatric consultations in the post-lockdown period were associated with lower rates of cannabis (aOR = 0.42,
 = 0.011) and cocaine use (aOR = 0.39,
= 0.011). Despite a lower occurrence of two or more psychiatric consultations was observed during post-lockdown phase (aOR = 0.44,
= 0.008), subjects who had anxiety disorders (aOR = 3.91,
= 0.000) and substance iimprove mental health such as e-health technologies should be promoted.

It covers a nanotechnology-based treatment approach and emphasizes the importance of herbal and marine antiviral drugs. The review attempts to explain current advances in research, prevention, and control of COVID-19 spread through artificial intelligence and vaccine development status under cosmopolitan consideration.Expert opinion While COVID-19 research is advancing at full capacity, the discovery of drugs or vaccines that can fight the pandemic is necessary.
