More importantly, the catalytic activity attenuation for PtCo-PtSn/C is only 27.4% after 30 000 potential cycles, showing high stability. Furthermore, theoretical calculations reveal that the enhancement is attributed to charge transfer and the unique structure of PtCo-PtSn/C heterostructure, which regulate the d-band center of Pt and prevent non-noble metals from further dissolution. This work thus opens a way to design and prepare highly efficient Pt-based alloy catalysts for proton exchange membrane fuel cells.
Evaluation of the cumulative effect of Radiofrequency Microneedling and fractional Erbium Glass 1565 laser in moderate to severe acne scars in skin of color.

This retrospective study was conducted on 20 patients of skin types III -V having moderate to severe atrophic acne scars. The study was carried out over 1year from March 2019 to March 2020.

All patients underwent 4 sessions of non-ablative Fractional Erbium Glass 1565 laser to alternate with 4 sessions of Fractional Radiofrequency Microneedling once a month over 8months.

Of the 20 patients enrolled, 18 completed treatment protocol. Two patients were withdrawn from the study because they were unable to attend follow-up treatment sessions. The subjective evaluation was performed using photographs at baseline, 8months, and 12months. A photographic evaluation was performed using the following numeric responses <25%, 25-50%, 51-75%, and 76-100% difference in severity. None of the patients had worsening of their scars. The improvement in scars was statistically significant.

Efforts to adapt these agents for molecular imaging have typically focused on targeted binding. More recently, crosslinking the lipid shell to alter its mechanical properties, followed by decrosslinking upon exposure to a stimulus, has been shown as a promising approach for imaging soluble molecular targets. Nevertheless, a systematic study of the influence of crosslinker concentration and structure on the mechanical properties of microbubbles has not been undertaken. An improved understanding of the role of these parameters is necessary to more effectively design contrast agents that detect proteases, an informative class of soluble disease markers. Here, the influence of crosslinker parameters on the acoustic properties of microbubbles, developing a model of crosslinker network formation on microbubble shells that explains the experimental observations, are studied. By incorporating cleavable elements that respond to UV light or proteolysis, kinetically resolved acoustic detection of these stimuli and the relevance of crosslinker design are demonstrated. In this work, the filter membrane surface is modified to show how the resulting SWCNT nematic order can be significantly enhanced. It is observed that directional mechanical grooving on filter membranes does not play a significant role in SWCNT alignment, despite the tendency for nanotubes to follow the groove direction. Chemical treatments to the filter membrane are shown to increase SWCNT alignment by nearly 1/3. We conducted a search in Pubmed, Embase, Web of Science, and Google Scholar databases from conception until October 2021 with keywords "microbotox" OR "mesobotox" OR "intradermal injection" AND "botulinum toxin" AND "rejuvenation" AND "wrinkle" AND "face-lift."

Twenty articles were included in this review article. Different types of formulation including onabotulinum toxin A (OBA), abobotulinum toxin A (ABO), and incobotulinum toxin A (IBA) were used. The most used concentrations were 10-20u/cc of OBA. Number of injection points varied from 4 (forehead and periorbital areas) to 999 (entire face) with 2mm to 2cm apart. Adjuvant treatment modalities were cross-linked hyaluronic acid, intense pulsed laser, and Fraxel laser. Most studies reported the initial results appeared after 5-14days of procedure, lasting for nearly 3-6months.

Trichogramma pretiosum Riley (Hymenoptera Trichogrammatidae) is released in extensive areas cultivated with cotton worldwide, but the use of synthetic insecticides threatens the establishment of augmented populations. Thus, an assessment of insecticides' effects on T.pretiosum is required to establish their compatibility with mass releases of the parasitoid. We studied in the laboratory the impact of insecticides administered through different exposure routes (direct-spraying, ingestion and residue contact) on T.pretiosum. Based on their toxicity, the insecticides were rated into four categories (harmless, slightly harmful, moderately harmful and harmful) as per the International Organization for Biological Control.
