migratoria. This paper used a dynamic spatial panel model to empirically analyze the effects of environmental regulation, market demand, and the associated spatial spillovers on regional green innovation in China, from which the following was found. (1) The environmental regulations had a positive "U-shaped" effect on local green innovation and a positive neighborhood spillover effect, and market demand had a significant positive effect on local green innovation and a "ripple effect." (2) The mechanism analysis found that the environmental regulations tended to inhibit regional green innovation input through a "cost compliance" effect, and market demand had a stronger incentive effect on innovation input than the environmental regulations, thus promoting the improvement of green innovation level. (3) The environmental regulation and market demand effects on green innovation had obvious spatial and temporal heterogeneity. The results of this study could help to promote regional green innovation by formulating reasonable environmental policies and stimulating the vitality of green technology market. The relationship between serum lung cancer markers and the air pollution remains unclear. To further reveal the correlation between air pollutants and lung cancer, a retrospective analysis of 446,032 asymptomatic healthy people and symptomatic healthy people from the Health Management Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University from 2014 to 2019 was performed. The distribution characteristics of serum lung cancer markers, cancer embryo antigens (CEA), cytokeratin 19 fragment (CYFRA211), squamous cell carcinoma antigen (SCC), and nerve-specific enolase (NSE) was analyzed in these population. Two independent sample man-Whitney U test was used to analyze the correlation of lung cancer markers and age, and a Chi-square test was used to analyze the relationship between lung cancer markers and gender. The daily change trend was profiled for six main air quality indicators PM10, PM2.5, SO2, NO2, CO, O3 during the same period. The correlation between lung markers and air pollutants was inving population, and the expression levels of these markers varied by gender and age, with males showing significantly higher expression levels than females, and they increased significantly with age except for SCC. The differential expression of these lung cancer markers may provide more strategies for lung cancer screening in the corresponding population. Lung cancer markers, CYFRA211 and NSE, can be used as sensitive biomarkers for exposure to certain air pollutants and provide references for the prevention and management of air pollution. This study aims to explore the income-biodiversity loss nexus in South and Southeast Asian countries covering the period between 2013 and 2019. Negative Binomial regression models are used to deal with the count regressand variable with specific emphasis on different taxonomic groups of threatened species, namely, mammal, bird, reptile, amphibian, fish, mollusk, other invertebrate, plant, and total threatened species. We find strong support of an inverted U-shaped relationship between income and biodiversity loss in all taxonomic groups of threatened species examined. Additionally, agricultural land has a significant and positive effect on biodiversity loss. Control of corruption and biodiversity loss are found to be negatively associated. The inverted U-shaped EKC suggests that South and Southeast Asian countries are required to identify policy priority areas that could achieve robust economic growth while reducing biodiversity loss. Our findings also provide valuable policy insights to assist the policy makers to better cope with the problem of biodiversity loss via corruption control and agricultural land use.Since the European Union (EU)'s current goal of making its continent the world's first climate-neutral continent by 2050, the EU will need to set a path for new policies in the areas of Europe's economy, energy consumption, and agriculture. Thus, this paper analyzes the marginal impact of energy price and economic freedom on Europe's CO2 emissions grounded on the extended Stochastic Impacts by Regression on Population, Affluence and Technology ecology (STIRPAT) model together with the spatial econometric models. Proteases inhibitor The results indicate the existence of spatial spillover effect of CO2 emissions among some countries in Europe. The Hausman test was also performed to select the best model between the random effects and the fixed effects. The findings suggest that increasing both economic freedom and energy price in a local country turns to reduce the country's own CO2 emissions and also reduces the emissions of its adjacent countries. Comparing the direct effect of economic freedom and energy price to that of the SDM fixed effect, a feedback of 12.77% and 23.53% of the direct effect was observed, respectively. The results also indicated that the turning point of economic freedom and economic growth was 6.714 and thus 9.083. Overall, the study spotlighted some policy suggestions for the energy market for the European commission in reducing the emissions of CO2.GO/Fe-Mn hybrids were prepared by a single-pot chemical precipitation method and were characterized using FTIR, XRD, Raman, zeta potential, and FESEM, which confirmed the impregnation of Fe/Mn onto GO sheets. The synthesized hybrids were successively applied in removing the Pb(II) ions from aqueous solution and later utilizing the spent adsorbent to increase the properties of cement. The adsorption capability of the synthesized hybrid was seen in a set of batch studies to find out that about 15 min of contact time was required to remove 99% of the contaminant at a pH of 5 ± 0.2 and a dose of 0.83 g/L. The mechanism of the adsorption process for the synthesized hybrid was well described by Elovich kinetic model with an R2 of 0.99 and Langmuir isotherm model, also with an R2 of 0.99. The desorption studies conducted using 0.1 M HCl solution showed significant stability of the hybrid with a drop of 12% in the removal efficiency of Pb after up to five adsorption-desorption cycles. This points to an efficient adsorbent having potential for economical use. Later, the spent adsorbent was mixed with cement at ratios of 0.05%, 0.1%, and 0.5%, and compressive strength tests were performed, which showed an increase in the strength by 7.62%, 16.11%, and 26.82% at 28 days of curing time. The TCLP and SPLP tests performed on the hybrid and cement-spent adsorbent mix showed all the leaching parameters were well within the permissible limits. This development shows the potential for the use of spent adsorbent in a circular economy model. An integrated aftertreatment system consisting of diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC), catalytic diesel particulate filter (CDPF), and selective catalytic reduction (SCR) is an effective way of reducing both NOx and particulate matter (PM). In this paper, the effect of DOC + CDPF + SCR on NOX and particle emissions is investigated during different operations to assess applicability of this aftertreatment for meeting more rigorous non-road emissions standard. Meanwhile non-negligible issue about regeneration emission is studied. The results show that the DOC + CDPF have no significant effect on NOx but increase the NO2/NOx ratio which is correlated with load. SCR is the main NOx reduction device with average efficiency of 86.5% for steady-state operations. Meanwhile, NH3 slip is lower than 16 ppm. During cold and hot non-road transient cycles (NRTC cycles), average NOx efficiencies are 56.7% and 57.8%, respectively, along with NH3 slip below 10 ppm. DOC + CDPF + SCR maintain filtration efficiency over 97% and 99% for PM and particle number (PN) for either steady-state operation or NRTC cycle, but particle size distributions change. Compared with the original emissions, NOx, PM, and PN emission factors are all below non-road China-IV limit after equipping with DOC + CDPF + SCR. However, during regeneration the aftertreatment does not maintain a high filtration performance but becomes particle generator. The penetration of nuclear particles and decomposition of agglomerated particles lead to high CDPF-out PN of 1.5 × 107 #/cm3-3.5 × 107 #/cm3. During regeneration, accumulated NOx is negligible, but the PM is 121.6 and 44.5 times higher than cold and hot NRTC cycles, respectively. In summary, DOC + CDPF + SCR is excellent way to improve non-road emissions but low SCR efficiency at low-temperature and high accumulated PM during regeneration process should be further addressed.Transgender and non-binary (TGNB) individuals often experience gender dysphoria. TGNB individuals with gender dysphoria may undergo genital gender-affirming surgery including vaginoplasty, phalloplasty, or metoidioplasty so that their genitourinary anatomy is congruent with their experienced gender. Given decreasing social stigma and increasing coverage from private and public payers, there has been a rapid increase in genital gender-affirming surgery in the past few years. As the incidence of genital gender-affirming surgery increases, a concurrent increase in the development and utilization of patient reported outcome measurement tools is critical. To date, there is no systematic way to assess and measure patients' perspectives on their surgeries nor is there a validated measure to capture patient reported outcomes for TGNB individuals undergoing genital gender-affirming surgery. Without a systematic way to assess and measure patients' perspectives on their care, there may be fragmentation of care. This fragmentation may result in challenges to ensure patients' goals are at the forefront of shared- decision making. As we aim to increase access to surgical care for TGNB individuals, it is important to ensure this care is patient-centered and high-quality. The development of patient-reported outcomes for patients undergoing genital gender-affirming surgery is the first step in ensuring high quality patient-centered care. Herein, we discuss the critical need for development of validated patient reported outcome measures for transgender and non-binary patients undergoing genital reconstruction. We also propose a model of patient-engaged patient reported outcome measure development.
