The Best Twin Buggy
Built to adapt to your family's needs This inline double comes with various seating options and is suitable for twins or children of various age groups. The foam-filled rubber tires will don't flatten out and its soft suspension can easily handle kerbs.
It folds super-flat and meets airline gate-check weight requirements making it easy to travel with. It also comes with a huge underseat storage basket, as well as a four-panel sun canopy.
Leclerc Influencer
With its elegant design, auto-folding feature and cabin approved dimensions the Leclerc Influencer is a fantastic choice for travelers. Its folded (and unfurled) width is 47cm. This is slightly larger than the IATA standard 45cm. However, it still conforms to the hand luggage requirements of airlines. It can be stored in overhead lockers during flights (subject to airline approval). We found it was easy to clean with just a wipe down, and there were plenty of extras available, including footmuffs, nappy and buggy bags that are strapped onto handles and hoods offering UV50+ protection.
It's easy to maneuver up and down stairs and can be squeezed through tight spaces such as narrow streets, shops and Jane's terrace home. The bumper bar can also serve as an handle. There's also a huge brake that's flip-flop-compatible and has a colour indicator. The basket is smaller than the other models, but it will still accommodate a huge changing bag. There are additional tray compartments to store drinks, snacks and toys.
It's suitable for babies from birth and can be paired with a Leclerc Baby Carrycot or car seat with adaptors (sold separately). For older children, there's a clever backrest that nearly flattens for nap times or extended walks. The smart magnetic 5-point harness is easy to use. It's also lightweight, weighing just 6.6kg. A travel bag is also included.
Joie Evalite Duo
The British brand Joie is on a mission to "share joy with new parents" by creating pushchairs which are "functional fashionable, stylish and ingenuous". The Evalite Duo, their latest twin buggy, is Joie's latest product. It's designed to carry two children side by side unlike the slightly heavier Aire Twin, and has elevated seating that allows both children can view the world around them.
The Evalite Duo weighs just under 10kg and is one of lightest strollers for siblings available. It's suitable for babies from birth and can be used with Joie car seats or carrycots (with the Instant Sure Lock attachment). It's easy to drive or ride, lift, and fold, and the clever frame expands widthways to accommodate the second seat.
Out 'n' about says the Evalite Duo's one-handed folding feature is a highlight. They were amazed by the speed and ease with which the Evalite Duo comes together. However, they did note that it's trickier to navigate bumps and rough terrain than some other models.
They also point out that the front seat doesn't fully recline, and they had to use their hands to get it back down - something they'd prefer not to be forced to do when traveling with small children. The Evalite Duo, however, is a fantastic stroller that can be improved by a few tweaks. They love the compact size when folded.
iCandy Peach
iCandy Peach is a highly-sophisticated tandem buggy that provides parents with all the options they need. It is compatible with a range of car seats and features a the one-click method to fold it, making it a breeze for families on the go. It also comes with a variety of accessories that other brands are charging separately for like rain covers and liners.
iCandy's Peach pushchair is a popular choice for fashion-conscious parents thanks to its fashionable and modern premium jersey fabrics. The 2022 model of the Peach has been subjected to a variety of minor tweaks that improve performance and functionality without sacrificing aesthetics.
One of the biggest changes to the current Peach is the addition of a ride-onboard that makes it a fantastic option for twins. It's also slightly smaller than the previous Peach models but that doesn't mean it from providing all the space you'll require for your kids.
This is an excellent double stroller if you want something stylish and versatile. It can be used as a single pram from birth, and then purchase a double kit to turn it into a twin stroller. It has a large basket and five recline positions to provide the best comfort for your child. It also features a single-handed fold as well as an integrated carry strap. The only drawback is that it's quite heavy to store when not in use particularly since it folds into two pieces instead of one.
iCandy Orange
This is one of the most popular twin buggies. The seats are able to be fitted with liners and footmuffs to keep your children warm in cold winter months. The carrycot can be inserted into the Orange chassis easily thanks to gate-opening flaps on the sides and is spacious and comfortable. The seat and carrycot are set up in various configurations, and the Orange chassis can accommodate an incredible 30 possible combinations.
The wheels are designed to tackle pavements and rough ground, and there's a large shopping basket beneath that is ideal for big shopping trips at the supermarket. double pram buggy is smooth to drive with a lightweight feel and the rounded pedal brake is easy to use (but not flip-flop friendly). It's not the easiest one to fold and the latch that holds it folded requires two hands to unlock. Once it's collapsed the front wheels fold underneath the basket and the chassis can stand.
The Orange is a fantastic choice for parents who are style-conscious and have a baby, toddler or both. They're looking for a buggy which will expand with their child. It's a great option for parents expecting another baby in the near future and need a double pushchair that's flexible. The iCandy Orange is not cheap however it's a versatile product that it should last for several years and will offer a decent resale value as well. It's also available with a buggy, which should reduce the amount of siblings fighting over seats.
Mountain Buggy Duet
Mountain Buggy, founded by a New Zealander and part of the Mokopuna Group that also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger is the first company in the world of prams to focus on two all-terrain pushchairs. The Duet twin stroller can be easily maneuvered around narrow aisles of shopping and doors. It is one of the smallest, fully-featured double buggies available and has won many awards, including the 2014 Mother & Baby Twin Gold and 2015 Prima Baby Twin Silver.
The narrow seats are large enough for children of different age groups to comfortably sit together, and the seats are independently adjustable, allowing children to choose their preferred position. The large canopies come with solar visors that flip out and the storage basket offers plenty of space. It is compatible with nearly all brands and accepts two infant car seat adapters with the purchase of car seats.
The only downside is the weight. At 32.4 lbs, it is difficult to lift into and out of the trunk, and might be difficult for Grandma to handle. It is also more expensive than the majority of side-by-side double buggies. However, it was made to last and has a lot of features for the price. It's an excellent choice for urban parents who don't want to lug around a bulky stroller. And, the padded harnesses and 5-point buckle ensure safety for babies.
Bugaboo Donkey Twin
The Bugaboo Donkey Twin is a beautiful, functional buggy with an elegant design. It's a quality product, but not without flaws.
It provides very few additional amenities, both for children and parents. The only thing provided by the side bin is that it can only be used when a seat in the car is attached. There aren't any cup holders, parent trays or accessory pockets. This could be a problem for long trips.
The seats also don't recline to a completely flat position, and the space between them is a bit wide which is why our 5-year-old was unable to lie back in a comfortable position. It's a shame, considering this is a high-end vehicle.
It's easy to move, and the swivel wheel is great for climbing stairs and slopes. It's also small enough to pass through most doors and folds down quickly for easy storage and transport. Additionally, it can be switched back to mono mode with just three clicks if ever need some more room or a quick getaway. It can even accommodate a third child using the comfort wheeled board should you're required to. If you're budget-conscious, there are cheaper options. If you love the brand and can afford it, it's well worth the cost.
