Papillary renal cell carcinoma (PRCC) is the second most common type of renal carcinoma following clear cell renal cell carcinoma, and the role of immune-related genes (IRGs) in tumorigenesis and metastasis is evident; its prognostic value in PRCC remains unclear. In this study, we downloaded the gene expression profiles and clinical data of patients with PRCC from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database and obtained IRGs from the ImmPort database. A total of 371 differentially expressed IRGs (DEIRGs) were discovered between PRCC and normal kidney tissues. Prognostic DEIRGs (PDEIRGs) were identified by univariate Cox regression analysis. Then, we screened the four most representative PDEIRGs (IL13RA2, CCL19, BIRC5, and INHBE) and used them to construct a risk model to predict the prognosis of patients with PRCC. This model precisely stratified survival outcome and accurately identified mutation burden in PRCC. Thus, our results suggest that these four PDEIRGs are available prognostic predictors for PRCC. ThCC. Thus, our results suggest that these four PDEIRGs are available prognostic predictors for PRCC. They could be used to assess the prognosis and to guide individualized treatments for patients with PRCC.
To evaluate the diagnostic value of dual-phase cone beam CT during hepatic arteriography (CBCTHA) for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).Thirty seven patients with unresectable HCC underwent the dual-phase CBCTHA prior to transarterial chemoembolization (TACE). Three blinded observers independently reviewed and compared the first phase CBCTHA images alone and the dual phase CBCTHA images. Diagnostic accuracy was evaluated by the alternative free-response receiver operating characteristic method (Area under the curve Az value). Sensitivities were analyzed with the paired t test. The analysis was performed for overall HCCs, HCCs up to 1 cm and those larger than 1 cm.For all HCCs and HCCs up to 1 cm, Az value and sensitivity showed no significant difference between the first-phase CBCTHA alone and the dual-phase CBCTHA (Az 0.81 vs 0.88, P = .07, 0.79 and 0.85, P = .14, sensitivity 0.61 and 0.73, P = .11, 0.41 and 0.52, P = .33, respectively). For HCCs larger than 1 cm, the mean Az value and sensitivity for the duaensitivity showed no significant difference between the first-phase CBCTHA alone and the dual-phase CBCTHA (Az 0.81 vs 0.88, P = .07, 0.79 and 0.85, P = .14, sensitivity 0.61 and 0.73, P = .11, 0.41 and 0.52, P = .33, respectively). For HCCs larger than 1 cm, the mean Az value and sensitivity for the dual-phase CBCTHA were significantly higher than those for the first phase CBCTHA alone (Az 0.96 vs 0.92, P = .008, sensitivity 0.85 vs 0.75, P = .013, respectively). The diagnostic accuracy of the dual-phase CBCTHA was superior to that of the first phase CBCTHA alone in the diagnosis of HCC larger than 1 cm.
Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a highly prevalent chronic liver disease characterized by excess accumulation of fat in hepatocytes. Because no drug has been approved for NAFLD treatment, this work analyzed the effects of agents resulting from 2 research hotspots, metabolic target agents, and natural plant drugs, on NAFLD with network meta-analysis.

Public databases were searched through August 14, 2020. Randomized controlled trials that compared obeticholic acid, elafibranor, cenicriviroc, selonsertib, curcumin, silymarin, and resveratrol to placebo were included. Liver pathology improvement, hepatic biochemical indicators, and lipid metabolism indicators were analyzed.

Thirty-five studies were included in the meta-analysis. Obeticholic acid was found to significantly increase the frequency of liver biopsy improvement compared to placebo (OR 2.10; 95% CI 1.60, 2.77). The ranking results among the hepatic biochemical indicators showed that obeticholic acid (94.9%) and elafibranor (86.3%) havbetter effects than natural plant drugs, especially obeticholic acid, and elafibranor. However, obeticholic acid showed serious adverse effects such as increasing LDL-C levels and decreasing HDL-C levels. Curcumin showed potential advantages for NAFLD but lacked statistical significance.
Internet addiction (IA) has become a global problem characterized by excessive use of the internet, compulsive, and deleterious personal behaviors. Acupuncture has gained more and more attention in the treatment of IA. However, evidence of its effectiveness is lacking. The purpose of this systematic review is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of acupuncture in the treatment of IA.

The following databases will be searched from the inception to September 30, 2020 the Cochrane Library, PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wan-fang database, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, and Chinese Scientific Journal Database. The research on acupuncture and IA meets the screening criteria, and two independent reviewers performed citation screening, data extraction, and risk assessment of bias. We used Cochrane Review Manager 5.3 software for statistical analysis.

The findings will be published at scientific conferences or in a peer-reviewed journal. This study is based on the existing research, so there is no need for ethical approval.

This systematic review provides evidence for the efficacy of acupuncture in treating IA disorder, and it is of great significance for effective clinical routine treatment of IA.

Tic disorders (TDs) are a group of neurodevelopmental disorders in children, while pharmacotherapy is often associated with various side effects and has limited clinical effects for some patients, thus significantly affecting patients' quality of life. Studies have found acupuncture shows certain advantages in the treatment of TDs. However, there is no high level of evidence evaluating the effectiveness and safety of acupuncture for children with TDs.

Each data of acupuncture for treating TDs will be searched. We will search for related English and Chinese databases. The time is limited from inception until November 2020. The primary outcome is the reduction rate (amount) of tic severity using related scales or methods, and the secondary outcomes include recurrence rate and adverse events. The risk of bias will be assessed, and the RevMan5.3 and Stata14.0 will be performed for meta-analysis. Finally, we will assess the level of the resulting evidence.

The results of the study will synthesize the current evidence and be published in peer-reviewed journals.

This research aims to provide convincing evidence of the effectiveness and safety of acupuncture for treating TDs in children.

Study has demonstrated that TNIP1 polymorphisms are associated with an increased risk of HBV-induced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The purpose of this study was to investigate the correlation between polymorphisms in TNIP1 and HCC risk in a Northwest Chinese Han population.A case-control study was conducted including 473 Hepatocellular carcinoma patients and 564 healthy controls. Three SNPs (rs3792792, rs7708392, and rs10036748) were genotyped with Sequenom MassARRAY technology and their associations with HCC risk were analyzed. These data were evaluated using the Chi-square test/Fisher's exact test, genetic model analysis, and haplotype analysis. Odds ratios (ORs) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were used to assess the association.Patients with the "G" allele of TNIP1 rs7708392 showed a significantly increased risk of HCC (OR = 1.24, 95%CI 1.01-1.52, P = .042). Significant association was also shown between TNIP1 rs7708392 and HCC susceptibility in Additive model (OR = 1.25; 95% CI = 1.01-1.54; P = .ype analysis. Significant association was also shown between TNIP1 rs7708392 and HCC susceptibility in Additive model (OR = 1.25; 95% CI = 1.01-1.54; P = .040). Besides, we also found that the "GC" haplotype of rs7708392 and rs10036748 was significantly associated with higher occurrence of HCC (OR = 1.25, 95% CI 1.01-1.54, P = .039).These results demonstrate that TNIP1 polymorphisms are associated with increased HCC risk in a Northwest Chinese Han population for the first time, which warrants further investigation in the future.
Antihypertensive drugs have been of significant interest to the pharmaceutical industry due to increasing sales opportunities in a global market. The financial relationships between pharmaceutical companies and the Japanese Society of Hypertension (JSH) have a possible influence on clinical practices in Japan. This study examined the distribution of pharmaceutical payments made to the authors of the revised Guidelines for the Management of Hypertension (JSH2019) and the transparency of the Conflict of Interest disclosure that each author made.We retrospectively obtained publicly available data regarding payments made by Japanese pharmaceutical companies to all authors of the JSH2019 in 2016. We also collected data on individual financial disclosure of JSH2019 authors to investigate whether their self-reported financial relationship with companies were compliant to the financial disclosure policy of JSH2019.The total and mean payment values reported by pharmaceutical companies were $4,246,436 and $21,447, reet had a significant financial connection with the JSH2019 authors. Financial relationships between pharmaceutical companies and authors or Japanese medical societies are raising significant concerns about the credibility of clinical guidelines and the potentially biases and undue influences that they may cause, especially with respect to adverse prescription patterns.
The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Baduanjin exercise for patients with cervical spondylosis (CS).

We will retrieve a randomized controlled trial of Baduanjin for CS from the following electronic databases establishment to May 2021 The Cochrane Library, MEDLINE, EMBASE, Web of Science, Springer, World Health Organization International Clinical Trials Registry Platform (ICTRP), China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wan-fang database, Chinese Scientific Journal Database (VIP), Chinese Biomedical Literature Databases (CBM), and other databases. Two independent researchers will operate article retrieval, duplication removing, screening, quality evaluation, and data analyses by Review Manager (V.5.3.5). Meta-analyses, subgroup analysis, and/or descriptive analysis will be performed based on the included data conditions.

The results of this study will provide researchers in the field of CS with a current synthesis of high-quality evidence.

This conclusion of this study will provide the evidence of whether Baduanjin is an effective and safe intervention for patients with CS.
