Sex ratios have widely been recognized as an important link between demographic contexts and behavior because changes in the ratio shift sex-specific bargaining power in the partner market. Implicitly, the literature considers individual partner market experiences to be a function of local sex ratios. However, empirical evidence on the correspondence between subjective partner availability and local sex ratios is lacking so far. In this paper, we analyzed how closely a set of different local sex ratio measures correlates with subjective partner market experiences. Linking a longitudinal German survey to population data for different entities (states, counties, municipalities), we used multilevel logistic regression models to explore associations between singles' subjective partner market experiences and various operationalizations of local sex ratios. Results suggest that local sex ratios correlated only weakly with subjective partner market experiences. Adult sex ratios based on broad age brackets, including those for lower-level entities, did not significantly predict whether individuals predominantly met individuals of their own sex. More fine-grained, age-specific sex ratios prove to be better predictors of subjective partner market experiences, in particular when age hypergamy patterns were incorporated. Nevertheless, the respective associations were only significant for selected measures. In a complementary analysis, we illustrate the validity of the subjective indicator as a predictor of relationship formation. In sum, our results suggest that subjective partner availability is not adequately represented by the broad adult sex ratio measures that are frequently used in the literature. Future research should be careful not to equate local sex ratios and conscious partner market experiences.
68Ga-DOTATATE positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) is a useful tool for diagnosing and staging neuroendocrine neoplasms (NEN). Unlike other PET tracers like FDG, the meaningfulness and use of standardized uptake values (SUVs) of 68Ga-DOTATATE is not well-established. This study aimed to determine if a correlation exists between intensity of 68Ga-DOTATATE uptake and markers of cellular proliferation.

This retrospective study included 79 patients with positive 68Ga-DOTATATE PET/CT and Ki-67 and/or mitotic index (MI) available on pathology report. SUV
of the most intense lesion and the most intense organ-matched lesion were determined. Demographics and pathology results for Ki-67 and MI were collected from the electronic medical record. Correlations and trends for correlations of SUV
to Ki-67 and MI were performed using Kruskal-Wallis and Cuzick trend tests.

A trend for an association between SUV
and Ki-67 grade was found; median SUV
of Ki-67 < 3%, 3-20%, and > 20% was 35.2, 31.8, and 12.8 (p = 0.077), respectively. There was also a trend between SUV
and Ki-67 categories in organ-matched lesions (p = 0.08). The median organ-matched SUV
of MI < 2, 2-20, and > 20 lesions was 34.2, 18, and 21.7, respectively, (Cuzick trend test p = 0.066). The median SUV
for small bowel, pancreatic, and other primary locations was 27.6, 46.9, and 9.3 (p < 0.01), respectively.

The association between 68Ga-DOTATATE SUV
, histologic grade, and primary site of NEN demonstrates its potential use for prognostication, or potentially as a surrogate for histologic grading when biopsy is not possible.

Survivorship care plan (SCP) comprising a treatment summary and plan for follow-up care is recommended by various organizations to address long-term needs of an increasing number of breast cancer survivors. Although there have been previous systematic reviews of SCPs in cancer, none has focused on breast cancer exclusively. This systematic review evaluates the use and impact of SCP in breast cancer survivors.

Randomized (RCTs) and non-randomized (non-RCT) studies evaluating health care and patient-related outcomes after implementation of SCPs for survivors were identified by searching databases (MEDLINE, EMBASE, CINHAL, and Scopus). Data were extracted, quality assessed, and summarized on the basis of qualitative synthesis.

Ten non-RCTs and 14 RCTs met the inclusion criteria. Although the overall quality of RCTs was superior to non-RCTs with mean quality score of 81.5% vs 64.3%, two mixed-methods non-RCTs which were individualized and included both provider and patient perspectives had comparable scoresdback is included and use of novel tools to empower stakeholders.
Existing research provides positive impact of SCPs on more proximal outcomes of patient experience and care delivery but mixed results for health outcomes in breast cancer survivors. Future research should focus on better defining SCP content and ensuring follow-up recommendations are acted upon, and provider feedback is included and use of novel tools to empower stakeholders.
This study aimed to investigate the diversity of Balantioides coli(B. coli) based on the 18S rDNA of isolates collected from weaned pigs with diarrhea and then select a B.coliisolate to determine its pathogenicity in weaned pigs through experimental infection.

The genetic analysis of field-isolated B. coli strains was based on sequencing of the partial 18S rDNA genetic fragment and the pathogenicity of an isolate of B. coli (DN2018-2-DTD) was identified through an experimental infection.

The fourteen B.coliisolates shared 98.47-100% nucleotide similarity and were divided into two clades in a phylogenetic tree. In an infection experiment, a slight increase in the body temperature was identified in two infected groups as compared to that in the control group (P < 0.05) from days post-infection (dpi) 12-18 and from dpi 20-27. In the group infected with 3000 CPG/TPG, 2/9 pigs started to develop diarrhea on day two. icFSP1 cost In the group infected with 500 CPG/TPG, 8/9 pigs had diarrhea on dpi 3. Trophozoites/cysts of B.
