To systematically review the effects of exercise interventions that may enhance quality of life (QOL) in individuals with traumatic brain injury (TBI).

A systematic search was conducted using five databases up to April 2018. Studies were included if QOL was quantified following an exercise programme for people with a TBI. Methodological quality was assessed using a validated scoring checklist. Two independent reviewers assessed study inclusion and methodological quality.

Thirteen studies met the inclusion criteria (seven RCTs, six non-RCTs). The median total scores for the quality assessment tool were 26.1 (RCTs), and 21.3 (non-RCTs), out of 33. Eight out of the 13 studies reported improved QOL following an exercise programme. The duration of the interventions varied from 8-12weeks. The most common programmes involved moderate to vigorous exercise; with a frequency and duration of 3-5 times/week for 30-60minutes.

The study assessed 417 cases of triplets. Perinatal outcomes were compared between selective reduction (SR) performed at 11-14
weeks of gestation and SR performed at 15-24
weeks of gestation for the same starting and finishing numbers of fetuses. Then, the perinatal outcomes of reduction to singletons and twins were compared for the same range of SR of gestational weeks.

The spontaneous abortion rate was 6.5% and 14.9%, respectively, when SR was performed at 11-14
weeks of gestation (214 cases) and at 15-24
 weeks of gestation (94 cases) (
 = .019). In total, 74 cases of triplets were reduced to singletons and 214 cases were reduced to twins when SR was performed at 11-14
weeks of gestation. Preterm labor rates, low birth weight rates, birth weights, and gestational ages at delivery also showed significant differences (
 < .001). In total, 35 cases of triplets were reduced to singletons and 94 cases were reduced to twins when SR was performed at 15-24

Twenty-four patients with severe acquired brain injury and their 24 caregivers participated in this observational study. Caregivers underwent a psychological assessment examining emotional distress, burden and family strain; their subjective approach to neuro-rehabilitation has been evaluated by two specific answers. This review was conducted according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines and was registered prospectively. CINAHL, MEDLINE and Embase were searched from inception until September 2020 supplemented by citation tracking. Studies were included if patients had a hip arthroplasty using a posterior surgical approach with comparative data on hip movement precautions or minimal to no movement restrictions. Methodological quality was evaluated using the Downs and Black checklist.

From a yield of 8 studies, meta-analysis of 7 studies and 9599 total hip arthroplasties, there was low quality evidence of no increased risk of dislocation (RR = 0.98, 95%CI 0.58 to 1.67) for patients prescribed minimal or no hip movement restrictions compared with patients prescribed hip movemenes to reduce falls.
Dislocation rates after total hip arthroplasty are low irrespective of movement precaution allocation. Resources allocated to implementing hip movement precautions may be better directed towards other clinical areas. IMPLICATIONS FOR REHABILITATION There was no difference in hip prosthesis dislocation rate between patients who received hip movement precautions compared to patients who received minimal or no restrictions after total hip arthroplasty using a posterior surgical approach. Health professionals involved in prescribing and monitoring adherence to hip movement precautions after total hip arthroplasty may be better allocating their resources to other areas of clinical care. Falls were associated with the greatest number of prosthesis dislocations, accounting for 24% of dislocations; resources may be better allocated towards evidence-based strategies to reduce falls.This qualitative study explores the ideas and experiences of interprofessional collaboration (IPC) among health professionals in rural public hospitals and to propagate its normalization into practice by identifying existing or suggested solutions. The literature focuses largely on the barriers and facilitators to IPC in metropolitan areas and there is room to identify more practical responses for implementing solutions. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 13 healthcare professionals (October 2018-March 2019). Interviews were audio-recorded, transcribed and underwent thematic analysis to identify themes derived from the dataset. Using the lens of the Normalization Process Theory (NPT) allowed for amalgamation of participant ideas and identification of solutions to implement IPC in practice. Participants' definitions of IPC and Interprofessional Teamwork were incongruous with the current literature, however when provided with formal definitions, participants agreed that they both participated and obons, formalizing IPC through simple introductions, interprofessional education and positive leadership. Future research could explore through the NPT specific areas of care that benefit from IPC implementation such as community aged-care.
The poly D, L-Lactic-co-glycolic acid (PLGA) and Polycaprolactone (PCL) have been widely applied for developing the prolonged-release formulation. The current study explores the application of these polymers for developing prolonged-release nanosphere of Duloxetine (DLX). Developing a prolonged release parenteral nanosphere formulation of DLX would be overcoming pitfalls like acid-labile degradation, first-pass metabolism and erratic bioavailability along with long-term therapeutic benefit in the treatment of depression.

DLX-loaded PLGA and PCL nanospheres were prepared by using the emulsion solvent evaporation technique. The developed formulation was compared with DLX oral solution concerning brain estimation. The prepared nanospheres were subjected to the morphology of the drug particles, polydispersity Index (PDI), distribution size, zeta potential, entrapment efficiency and percentage yield to generate a proof of concept.
