This study reports new fluid layered ferroelectrics with the C∞v symmetry in which nearly complete orientation of the spontaneous polarization remains stable under zero electric field without any orientation treatment. These ferroelectrics are obtained by simplifying the molecular structure of a compound with a known ferroelectric nematic phase, although the simplification reduced the dipole moment. The results provide useful insights into the mechanism of ferroelectricity due to dipole-dipole interactions in molecular assemblies. The new ferroelectric materials are promising for a wide range of applications as soft ferroelectrics.
There is a wealth of evidence to suggest that the Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD, or similar Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder, EUPD) construct is harmful. We provide a commentary on the ideas expressed in the May Debate issue, highlighting both concerns and alternatives.

We bring together lived experience, clinical and research expertise. This commentary was written collaboratively drawing on all these sources of evidence.

For T3N-CTF, the peripheral aromatic linker to the central triazine unit was the pyridine unit, instead of the benzene unit in the T3H-CTF unit. T3N-CTF had a hydrogen production rate (HPR) of 6485.05 μmol g-1  h-1 , much higher than that of T3H-CTF (2028.06 μmol g-1  h-1 ). Accordingly, T3N-CTF had a much higher apparent quantum yield (AQY) of 12.2 % than that of T3H-CTF (4.12 %) at 405 nm. The experimental and theoretical results showed that the extended light absorption range, enlarged surface area, and enhanced separation and transportation efficiencies of charge carriers of T3N-CTF compared with T3H-CTF were uniformly induced by the introduction of peripheral nitrogen atoms into the skeleton of former CTF, which eventually boosted the visible-light induced hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). The work suggests a new method for enhancing the intrinsic HER activity by modulating the electronic features of the conjugated COFs by the introduction of pyridinic N atoms.Direct production of heterocyclic aromatic compounds from lignin β-O-4 models remains a huge challenge due to the incompatible catalysis for aryl ether bonds cleavage and heterocyclic ring formation. In this biomimetic system, DNAzyme-loaded manganese-doped zeolitic imidazolate framework-90 (ZIF-90) nanoparticles (ZM@TD) mimic the virus nucleocapsid containing the genome; the erythrocyte membrane mimics the viral envelope; and two functional peptides, RGD and HA2 peptides, resemble the surface glycoprotein spikes of herpesvirus. To focus on the current scientific support for an association between CV diseases and/or risk factors and FSD, focused primarily on postmenopausal women.

This is a narrative review based on an extensive literature search of peer-reviewed publications on the associations between CV diseases and/or risk factors and FSD and their underlying mechanisms, which was performed using the PubMed database.

We present a summary of the evidence from clinical and preclinical studies and discuss the possible mechanisms providing the pathophysiologic bases of vasculogenic FSD.

Clitoral adhesions are characterized by adherence of preputial tissue to the glans clitoris and can be managed using a non-surgical approach in order to relieve symptoms of sexual dysfunction.

To evaluate efficacy and patient satisfaction associated with the non-surgical lysis procedure in order to determine if it is an appropriate treatment for symptomatic clitoral adhesions.

The non-surgical lysis procedure is performed by using a fine Jacobsen mosquito forceps to separate the plane between the prepuce and the glans of the clitoris, removing smegma and/or keratin pearls from underneath the adhesions and allowing for visualization of the entire glans. A chart review of 61 women that were treated for clitoral adhesions using the non-surgical lysis procedure at 1 sexual medicine practice was performed and an online survey was sent to these patients.

Patients with Diffuse Large Bcell Lymphoma (DLBCL) with MYC and BCL2 and/or BCL6 gene rearrangements [double-hit lymphoma/triple-hit lymphoma (DHL/THL)] have poor prognosis in the relapsed/refractory setting.

We utilized a real-world deidentified database of DLBCL patients and report patterns of therapy utilization in relapsed/refractory DLBCL. We used log-rank test to compare real-world overall survival (rwOS) among DHL and non-DHL subgroups for CAR Tcell therapy or ASCT respectively, stratified for prior lines of therapy.

Of all 7,877 patients with DLBCL, 367 patients had DHL while 6113 had non-DHL. Second line chemotherapy was administered to 147 DHL patients and 1517 non-DHL. 1393 were excluded, including 934 with unknown DHL/THL status. Approximately 47% received salvage intent chemotherapy in the DHL subgroup, of which 19% patients eventually received ASCT, while 34% received salvage intent chemotherapy in the non-DHL/THL group with 32% receiving ASCT. DHL/THL status negatively influenced median rwas not seen for CAR Tcell therapy, which combined with promising results from clinical trials, suggests a greater role for CAR T-cell therapy in relapsed/refractory DHL.
Nodal peripheral T-cell lymphoma (nPTCL) constitute a heterogeneous group of neoplasms with aggressive behavior and poor-survival. They are more prevalent in Latin America and Asia, although data from Brazil are scarce. Its primary therapy is still controversial and ineffective. Therefore, we aim to describe clinical-epidemiological characteristics, outcomes, predictors factors for survival and compare the results of patients treated with CHOP and CHOEP regimens.

Retrospective, observational and single-center study involving 124 nPTCL patients from Brazil treated from 2000 to 2019.

With a median follow-up of 23.7 months, the estimated 2-year overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS) were 59.2% and 37.3%, respectively. The median age was 48.5 years and 57.3% (71/124) were male, 81.5% (101/124) had B-symptoms, 88.7% (110/124) had advanced disease (stage III/IV) and 58.1% (72/124) presented International Prognostic Index (IPI) score ≥3, reflecting a real-life cohort. ORR to first-line therapy was 58.
