This in vitro study was conducted to compare the fracture strength of endocrowns manufactured from different hybrid blocks under axial and lateral forces.

Following root-canal treatment, 100 permanent mandibular first molars were randomly distributed among 5 groups according to restoration material. Endocrown restorations were produced from IPS e.max CAD (IPS), Vita Enamic (VE), GC Cerasmart (GC), Shofu (SH), and Brilliant Crios (BC) using CAD/CAM technology. Specimens were cemented, subjected to artificial aging, and further divided into 2 subgroups (n = 10) per group for fracture testing. Each specimen was placed on a universal testing machine and subjected to axial or lateral forces applied at a crosshead speed of 1 mm/min. Fracture data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA, Tukey, Tamhane T2, and Weibull tests.

Statistically significant differences in fracture-strength (FS) values under axial and lateral forces were observed among the groups (P < 0.05). Group BC had the highest FS value under axial forces, whereas group IPS had the highest FS value under lateral forces. According to Weibull analysis, VE exhibited the highest reliability under axial forces (7.62), whereas IPS exhibited the highest reliability under lateral forces (4.68). No statistically significant differences were detected in the distribution of failure types under either axial or lateral forces among the groups (P > 0.05).

All of the hybrid blocks tested showed sufficient fracture strength for use as CAD/CAM-fabricated endocrowns.

The surveillance enables the implementation of measures to protect the populations' health. Therefore, relevant information needs to be provided in a timely and target-group-specific manner to the respective stakeholders.A dissemination strategy supports the effective communication of results and considers three key questions (1) "What content is relevant to the surveillance?", (2) "Who requires which information?" and (3) "How are the results disseminated to the target audience?" In this context, digitalisation allows for novel possibilities in the design of publication formats.Since 2015, diabetes surveillance has been established at the Robert Koch Institute. Within a structured process of consensus, we defined four fields of action relevant for health policy including 40 indicators. Thereafter, we developed the first publication formats in collaboration with the scientific advisory board of the project that reflected novel possibilities offered by digitalisation. In addition to articles in scientific journals, the essential formats of the first project phase comprise the report "Diabetes in Germany" and a website including interactive visualisations of results. As health reporting is currently in a process of innovation and increasing in importance, it is foreseeable that the guidelines will have to be revised again in the not too distant future.
Confidential counseling is a critical condition of the healthcare quality in adolescent medicine. This study aimed at assessing knowledge, attitudes and practice of primary healthcare pediatricians and gynecologists regarding adolescents' rights to confidentiality.

A cross-sectional study was conducted in a sample of 152 pediatricians and gynecologists who are employed at 13 primary healthcare centers in Belgrade, Serbia, in 2017-2018. Data were collected by a self-administered questionnaire purposefully constructed for this study. The questionnaire examined knowledge and attitudes toward adolescents' right to confidentiality as well as whether participating physicians practice confidential health care with adolescents.

Physicians scored 4 out of 7 on a knowledge scale, but they overall supported adolescents' right to confidential health care (average attitude score was 71 out of 95). On average, physicians scored 21 out of 30 on practice of confidentiality scale. Multivariate analysis showed that better knowledge and stronger positive attitudes toward duty of confidentiality were associated with consistent practice of confidential health care.
