Jika Maut memberikan saya pilihan seperti itu saya akan memilih jubah yang dapat menyembunyikan seseorang bahkan dari kematian. Karena dengan jubah itu saya dapat terhindar dari Sang Maut dan Sang Maut tidak akan menemukan saya kecuali saya melepas jubah itu (mungkin memberikan pada orang lain, seperti Saudara Ketiga di kisah Sang Maut dan Tiga Bersaudara). Tetapi kemungkinan besar saya akan menjaga sendiri jubah itu, tidak memberikan pada orang lain. Kalaupun saya memberikan Jubah itu pada orang lain, Saya hanya akan memberikan jika orang itu sangat penting atau jika orang itu dapat melawan sang maut, dan jika orang tersebut terpercaya. Saya tidak ingin jubah itu jatuh ke tangan orang yang ingin berbuat jahat atau semacamnya dan saya juga tidak mau Maut menemukan saya.
