Students will do a mini-biodiversity assessment for practice-
Create a lab report and get feedback in order to prepare for the real thing.
1. Create a plot (1 yard by 1 yard) in a yard or nature park
2. Observe and identify the organisms in that plot- Create a biodiversity assessment of your own.
3. Repeat steps 1-2 at least 4 additional times with the same measurements (1 yard by 1 yard)
4. Record the data
5. Analyze the data
6 Create a formal lab report using the lab report rubric. Complete to the very best of your ability
The more thorough and relevant your report is- the better feedback you'll receive ahead of completing your major project.
