Our results provide new insights into the mechanisms underlying plant-fungus interactions in adult orchids in nature and in particular into the plant responses to the mycorrhizal symbiont(s) in the roots of mixotrophic orchids. Our results indicate that amino acids may represent the main nitrogen source in mycorrhizal roots of L. abortivum, as already suggested for orchid protocorms and other orchid species. The upregulation, in mycorrhizal L. abortivum roots, of some symbiotic molecular marker genes identified in mycorrhizal roots from other orchids as well as in arbuscular mycorrhiza, may mirror a common core of plant genes involved in endomycorrhizal symbioses. Although the pathogenesis is common to all patients, the clinical spectrum is quite variable, and differences could be explained by gene expression variations. Among the factors able to affect gene expression, there are lncRNAs. We evaluated the expression profile of 87 lncRNAs in CD vs. healthy control (HC) intestinal biopsies by RT-qPCR array. Nuclear enriched abundant transcript 1 (NEAT1) and taurine upregulated gene 1 (TUG1) were detected as downregulated in CD patients at diagnosis, but their expression increased in biopsies of patients on a gluten-free diet (GFD) exposed to gluten. The increase in NEAT1 expression after gluten exposure was mediated by IL-15 and STAT3 activation and binding to the NEAT1 promoter, as demonstrated by gel shift assay. NEAT1 is localized in the nucleus and can regulate gene expression by sequestering transcription factors, and it has been implicated in immune regulation and control of cell proliferation. The results show that without subsidies, changes in the rate of return and the initial probability will affect the evolution of the equilibrium strategy, while the synergistic benefits will have a corrective effect in some cases; when government subsidies are included and the probability of the three parties choosing "green strategies" is relatively low, subsidies should be paid to e-commerce companies mainly; lower subsidies can only provide incentives for e-commerce platforms. We analyzed here the outcome of GAS or S. aureus infection in IL-1R-deficient mice. After inoculated intraperitoneal (i.p.) inoculation with group A Streptococcus or S. aureus, all the wild-type (WT) control mice survived the challenge, while, respectively, 63% or 50% of IL-1-defective mice died. Lethality was due to the ability of both bacterial species to replicate and disseminate to the target organs of IL-1R-deficient mice.
