However, a particularly challenging class of issues in this area is data traffic, which increases due to increase in video and audio streaming applications. Therefore, there is need for smart spectrum management policies. In this paper, we consider a fractional frequency reuse (FFR) technique which divides the whole spectrum into multiple sections and allows reusing of spectrum resources between the conventional cellular users and multicast D2D users in a non-orthogonal scenario. Since conventional cellular users and multicast D2D users shared same resources simultaneously, they generate severe data traffic and high communication overhead. To overcome these issues, in this paper we propose Lagrange relaxation technique to solve the non-convex problem and combinatorial auction-based matching algorithm to select the most desirable resource reuse partners by fulfilling the quality of service (QoS) requirements for both the conventional cellular users and multicast D2D users. Then, we formulate an optimization problem to maximize the overall system performance with least computational complexity. We demonstrate that our method can exploit a higher data rate, spectrum efficiency, traffic offload rate, coverage probability, and lower computational complexity.The circadian system is an endogenous timekeeping system that synchronizes physiology and behavior with the 24 h solar day. Mice with total deletion of the core circadian clock gene Bmal1 show circadian arrhythmicity, cognitive deficits, and accelerated age-dependent decline in adult neurogenesis as a consequence of increased oxidative stress. However, it is not yet known if the impaired adult neurogenesis is due to circadian disruption or to loss of the Bmal1 gene function. Therefore, we investigated oxidative stress and adult neurogenesis of the two principle neurogenic niches, the hippocampal subgranular zone and the subventricular zone in mice with a forebrain specific deletion of Bmal1 (Bmal1 fKO), which show regular circadian rhythmicity. Moreover, we analyzed the morphology of the olfactory bulb, as well as olfactory function in Bmal1 fKO mice. In Bmal1 fKO mice, oxidative stress was increased in subregions of the hippocampus and the olfactory bulb but not in the neurogenic niches. Consistently, adult neurogenesis was not affected in Bmal1 fKO mice. Although Reelin expression in the olfactory bulb was higher in Bmal1 fKO mice as compared to wildtype mice (Bmal1 WT), the olfactory function was not affected. Taken together, the targeted deletion of Bmal1 in mouse forebrain neurons is associated with a regional increase in oxidative stress and increased Reelin expression in the olfactory bulb but does not affect adult neurogenesis or olfactory function.To produce enough food, smallholder farmers in developing countries apply fertilizer nitrogen (N) to cereals, sometimes even more than the local recommendations. During the last two decades, hand-held chlorophyll meters and canopy reflectance sensors, which can detect the N needs of the crop based on transmission and reflectance properties of leaves through proximal sensing, have been studied as tools for optimizing crop N status in cereals in developing countries. This review aims to describe the outcome of these studies. Chlorophyll meters are used to manage fertilizer N to maintain a threshold leaf chlorophyll content throughout the cropping season. Despite greater reliability of the sufficiency index approach, the fixed threshold chlorophyll content approach has been investigated more for using chlorophyll meters in rice and wheat. GreenSeeker and Crop Circle crop reflectance sensors take into account both N status and biomass of the crop to estimate additional fertilizer N requirement but only a few studies have been carried out in developing countries to develop N management strategies in rice, wheat and maize. Both chlorophyll meters and canopy reflectance sensors can increase fertilizer N use efficiency by reduction of N rates. Dedicated economic analysis of the proximal sensing strategies for managing fertilizer N in cereals in developing countries is not adequately available.Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disease characterized by chronic inflammation and subsequent proliferation of synovial tissues, which eventually leads to cartilage and bone destruction without effective treatments. Anti-citrullinated cyclic peptide/protein antibody (ACPA) and rheumatoid factor (RF) are two main characteristic autoantibodies found in RA patients and are associated with unfavorable disease outcomes. Although etiologies and causes of the disease have not been fully clarified yet, it is likely that interactive contributions of genetic and environmental factors play a main role in RA pathology. Previous works have demonstrated several genetic and environmental factors as risks of RA development and/or autoantibody productions. Among these, cigarette smoking and HLA-DRB1 are the well-established environmental and genetic risks, respectively. In this narrative review, we provide a recent update on genetic contributions to RA and the environmental risks of RA with a special focus on cigarette smoking and its impacts on RA pathology. We also describe gene-environmental interaction in RA pathogenesis with an emphasis on cigarette smoking and HLA-DRB1.Low back pain (LBP) is the leading cause of disability worldwide, placing a significant economic burden on healthcare systems. Radial extracorporeal shock wave therapy (rESWT) is useful in the rehabilitation of orthopedic diseases; however, there is still limited evidence for patients with LBP. The aim of this study was to assess the effect of rESWT on pain level, functional efficiency, and parameters of postural control in patients with LBP.
