Using human THP-1 monocytes, KR or TCD suppressed C. acnes-induced production of interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-6 and IL-8 at least above 56% or 45%, as well as gene expression of these three pro-inflammatory cytokines. However, a significantly strong inhibitory effect on production and expression of tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α was not observed. Both cucurbitanes inhibited C. acnes-induced activation of the myeloid differentiation primary response 88 (MyD88) (up to 62%) and mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPK) (at least 36%). Furthermore, TCD suppressed the expression of pro-caspase-1 and cleaved caspase-1 (p10). In a separate study, KR or TCD decreased C. acnes-stimulated mouse ear edema by ear thickness (20% or 14%), and reduced IL-1β-expressing leukocytes and neutrophils in mouse ears. We demonstrated that KR and TCD are potential anti-inflammatory agents for modulating C. acnes-induced inflammation in vitro and in vivo.In the current study, a comparative molecular field analysis (CoMFA) model with the combined activity of polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs) bioconcentration, long-range transport, and the highest infrared signal intensity (weight ratio of 541) was constructed based on the threshold method and was further evaluated and analyzed. PBB-153 derivatives with improved combined activity values of bioconcentration, long-range transport, and the highest infrared signals intensity were designed based on contour maps of the CoMFA model. The environmental stability and functionality of the derivatives were also evaluated. The constructed model showed good prediction ability, fitting ability, stability, and external prediction ability. The contribution rates of electrostatic and steric fields to the combined activity of PBBs were 53.4% and 46.6%, respectively. Four PBB-153 derivatives with significantly improved bioconcentration, long-range transport and the highest infrared signal intensity (the combined activity value of these three parameters decreased) were screened with good environmental stability and functionality. Results validated the accuracy and reliability, and ability of the generated model to realize the simultaneous modification of the three activities of the target molecule. The binding ability of the designed derivatives to food chain biodegradation enzymes increased, thereby verifying the improvement in the bioconcentration. The half-lives of the derivatives in air and their ability to be absorbed by the plants significantly improved compared to the target molecule, further showing that the long-range transport of derivatives was reduced. In addition, the introduction of the -NO group caused the N =O stretching vibration of the derivatives to increase the infrared signal intensity. The present model provides a theoretical design method for the molecular modification of environmentally friendly PBBs.Autocatalytic reactions are in certain contrast with the linear algebra of reaction stoichiometry, on which rate equations respecting the permanence of atoms are constructed. The results of a hierarchical regression analysis showed that teacher nominations of loneliness predicted children's self-reported loneliness above and beyond teacher nominations of peer status and social behaviors. In Study 2 (N = 350, Mage = 13.81 years), peer nominations of loneliness showed a small to moderate correlation with adolescents' self-reported loneliness as assessed using the peer-related loneliness subscale of the Loneliness and Aloneness Scale for Children and Adolescents (LACA). The results of a hierarchical regression analysis showed that peer nominations of loneliness predicted adolescents' self-reported loneliness above and beyond peer nominations of peer status and social behaviors. We conclude that loneliness nominations are valuable, but caution is needed when they are used exclusively to identify lonely children and adolescents.
Labor activities are demanding for workers and can induce occupational stress. Primary health care (PHC) workers have faced problems that can lead to the development of stress and abdominal obesity. The aim of this study was to estimate the prevalence of abdominal adiposity among primary health care physicians in the metropolitan mesoregion of Salvador, Bahia.

This is a cross-sectional study conducted with physicians from the family health units (FHUs) of the metropolitan mesoregion of Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. The number of FHUs corresponded to 41 teams (52 physicians). Anamnesis was performed and a questionnaire was applied. The clinical examination consisted of measuring waist circumference (WC), blood pressure levels (BP), and body mass index (BMI), as well as examining for acanthosis nigricans. Blood samples were collected for biochemical dosages. The data obtained were analyzed by SPSS version 22.0.

The sample included 41 physicians (response rate 78.8%), of which 18 were women (44.0%). The percentage of overweight participants represented by BMI was 31.7%. The hypertriglyceridemia prevalence was 29.2%. this website HDL-c was low in 48.7% of the participants. In this regard, the properties of eight aluminum alloys containing tin from 5.4% to 11% doped with lead, copper, silicon, zinc, magnesium, and titanium were studied. The delivery of insulin in porcine skin by inkjet-coated MNs was shown to be influenced by MN design.The aim of this study was to compare surgical and refractive outcomes between phacotrabeculectomy (P-Trab) and phaco with Ex-PRESS (P-Ex-PRESS) for glaucoma at a 6-month follow-up. This prospective randomized controlled trial included 81 eyes; 43 eyes (53%) and 38 eyes (47%) were assigned to the P-Ex-PRESS and P-Trab groups, respectively. Refraction, intraocular pressure (IOP), and best-corrected visual acuity were measured. Refractive change was analyzed using the cylinder's magnitude, and polar analysis assessed the change in the trend of astigmatism [with-the-rule, against-the-rule (ATR), oblique (OBL)], evaluating mean astigmatism in centroid form. All patients showed a statistically significant postoperative decrease in IOP (P less then 0.05). There were no differences between the groups in terms of postoperative IOP and visual outcomes or in astigmatism preoperatively or postoperatively (P = 0.61, P = 0.74). In both groups, the mean preoperative and postoperative astigmatism were ATR and OBL, respectively. Preoperative and postoperative centroids in the P-Ex-PRESS group were 0.44 ± 1.32 D at 177° and 0.35 ± 1 D at 8°, respectively, (P = 0.5) and in the P-Trab group were 0.16 ± 1.5 D at 141° and 0.39 ± 1.38 D at 29°, respectively (P = 0.38). The multi-objective genetic algorithm (MOGA) is used to optimize the antenna parameters and improve optimization efficiency. Ultimately, the whole antenna was 28.2 mm in length and 28.6 mm in width, and the FR4 material, with a relative permittivity of 4.4, was used as a dielectric plate. The maximum gain of the antenna is 8.06 dB, and the bandwidth with gain greater than 6.5 dB is nearly 2 GHz. Antenna performance simulation and test results show that the extended semicircular structure is beneficial in enhancing the directional radiation of the antenna.
