Fourteen years' clinical knowledge along with the very first zillion toddlers safeguarded together with human being live-attenuated vaccine towards rotavirus ailment within France.
The results show a greater probability of mental problems among elderly adults with UI.Leprosy is a debilitating, infectious, systemic or localized dermato-neurological disease caused by Mycobacterium lepra. In Brazil, the magnitude and high disabling power keep the disease as a public health problem. Skin spotting and numbness are pathognomonic signs and symptoms in leprosy. The Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE) 2019 National Health Survey (PNS-2019) considered the following question as a proxy to estimate its magnitude in the country. "Do you have a spot with numbness or part of the skin with numbness?". In Brazil, 1,921,289 adults reported having a patch or part of the skin with numbness, with no regional differences. As for the age group, the older, the higher the prevalence, for example, between 18 to 29 years old (235,445) and 30 to 39 years old (236,485), 0.7% had the condition, between 40 to 59 years old (827,887), 1.5% and among the elderly, 1.8% (621,472). Being able to estimate, in population-based surveys, with statistical representativeness, a reported morbidity such as leprosy is essential to support the formulation of public policies, notably those related to primary health care actions. In this way, the IBGE fulfills its constitutional role of portraying the reality of the Brazilian population and today it is the main external evaluator of the Unified Health System (SUS) and of public policies developed by the federal level. The psychosocial paradigm in the field of drugs focuses on the suffering individual in relation to the social reality and values the uniqueness of users and professionals for the development of health care. A concept that bases these characteristics, and that comes from different theoretical frameworks, is the construction of autonomy. However, there is no study in the literature that summarizes it in its different meanings. This article aimed to systematize the concepts of autonomy construction under the psychosocial paradigm in the field of drugs. The methodology used was the integrative review. We searched, in the Psycinfo, PubMed, BVS and Web of Science databases, studies that analyzed the care process using the construction of autonomy. These concepts, their theoretical references and their foundations were identified and systematized. Among the 22 studies, there are concepts based on six theories, such as collective health and harm reduction. It could be considered that the construction of autonomy is a process that mobilizes different actions, such as co-responsibility and territorial sociopolitical action; which can be systematized in three interrelated dimensions; and which has different epistemological roots, such as the psychiatry of deinstitutionalization.Counseling interventions have been broadly used to modify the level of physical activity in the population. The scope of this study was to conduct a systematic review on physical activity counseling interventions. Original intervention studies with physical activity counseling as an outcome were included and published between January 2010 and April 2020 in the Medline/PubMed, BVS, and Scielo databases, in English and Portuguese, with an adult population without diagnosed diseases. Methodological quality was assessed using the PEDro scale. We found 2,152 articles and after screening, eight manuscripts remained, writtem in seven countries. learn more Regarding the evaluation of the quality of the work, the scores vary between 4/10 and 8/10 on the PEDro scale. The measures with counseling for PA, lasted one month and were effective in seven of the eight selected studies. The studies use the following forms of counseling calls, SMS, cell phone apps, face-to-face counseling, e-mail, materials posted on websites, handouts, booklets and telegrams. The results of this review showed that counseling for PA practice increases the PA level of healthy adults, irrespective of the heterogeneity of methods. The objective was to analyze the reproducibility, validity and internal consistency of the environment scale for the physical activity in adolescents. Reproducibility study with 171 adolescents (59.5% female); and validity and internal consistency with 1.353 adolescents (53.1% female). The scale contained 25 items in three domains places of practice (PP - 14 items); urban security (US - six items) and; in transit (TS - five items). Kappa PABAK and Spearman correlation (rho) were used to assess reproducibility, exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory (CFA) for validity, the combined reliability index (CRI) for internal consistency. The reproducibility of the scores was PP - rho = 0.76; US - rho = 0.78 and; TS - rho = 0.66. Three factors were identified in the EFA PP (eight items, factorial loads from 0.36 to 0.67); US (four items, factorial loads from 0.60 to 0.78) e; TS (four items, factorial loads from 0.35 to 0.64). The CFA confirmed the model with three factors and with levels recommended for the fit quality indicators of the model. The internal consistency was satisfactory for PP (CRI = 0.85), US (CRI = 0.90) and TS (CRI = 0.79). The environment scale for the practice of physical activity showed adequate levels of reproducibility, construct validity and internal consistency. The article aimed to verify the association between physical activity (PA) and perceived environment among adults from a city in southern Brazil. This is a population-based cross-sectional study with 820 adults living in the city of Criciúma-SC. Perceived environment was assessed using the Neighborhood Environmental Walkability scale and PA in the leisure and transportation domains using the long version of the International PA Questionnaire. It was observed that the neighborhood with public spaces for the practice of physical exercises and dog walking was associated with higher prevalence of compliance with moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA) guidelines. The fact of having an invitation from friends and/or relatives for PA, sporting events and the habit of dog walking were associated with leisure-time walking. Access to places for the purchase of fresh fruits/ vegetables, light/diet foods, to have sidewalks in most streets, to have pedestrian crossings and sporting events in the neighborhood were associated with higher prevalence of active transportation. Conversely, places for snacks or fast food in the neighborhood were associated with lower prevalence of active transportation. The perception of environmental variables was associated with MVPA, walking and active transportation. This study aimed to identify the types of leisure-time physical activity (LTPA) most practiced and their association with active behavior in other domains and the sociodemographic aspects in Brazilian adults (≥ 18 years old). It was a cross-sectional study, using data from a population-based system (Vigitel, 2017). Binary logistic regression was used. In the 29,323 LTPA practitioners (51.3% men), the five types of activities most performed were walking (36.6%), weight training (17.7%), soccer (11.7%), jogging (8.3%), and aerobics (6.7%). The LTPA that had the greatest associations with sociodemographic variables were soccer, walking, and aerobics, all with p-value ≤ 0.01. When considering the other domains of physical activity, participants who reported doing household physical activity were more likely to walk and less likely to practice weight training, soccer and aerobics. Those who did active commuting had more of a chance to walking and less of a chance to weight train, while individuals who practiced occupational physical activity were less likely to walk and more likely to play soccer. Important differences in sociodemographic aspects and active behavior in the other domains were found according to the LTPA type.In view of the expanded view of health proposed by the Unified Health System (SUS), the approach given to the illness process required a prism focused on the biopsychosocial view and no longer on the biomedical model, which led to a reorganization in the training of health professionals. Thus, the National Curriculum Guidelines were established guiding the pedagogical projects of the courses towards the biopsychosocial model, so that the International Classification of Functionality, Disability and Health contributes to this scenario through its multidimensional and non-reductionist approach. However, physiotherapy has historically been strongly influenced by the biomedical model, distancing it from primary care (PC). This is an exploratory, descriptive and quantitative study, with secondary data source obtained through the National Register of Health Establishments in Brazil, whose objective was to verify, within a 10-year interval, at which level of health care most physiotherapists and their representation in PC are concentrated. The findings indicated that PC represents the minority scenario of jobs occupied by physical therapists, reflecting the hegemony of the biomedical model and reinforcing the rehabilitation character historically given to the profession. The scope of this study was to analyze the organizational structure, financing and supply of programs and actions of bodily practices and physical activities (PCAF) considering the tripartite management of the Unified Health System (SUS). Focusing on the years2018 to 2020, information was requested from the Ministry of Health (MS), the 26 state health secretariats, the Federal District (SES) and the 26 municipal health secretariats in the capitals (SMS). 40 responses were received (rate of 74%). Based on the relevance of the Expanded Center for Family Health and Primary Care (Nasf AB) in the provision of PCAF, research was also carried out in information systems. It was observed that only the MS, two SES' and four SMS' had a specific PCAF management structure; the possibility of financing was identified by the MS, in six SES' and eight SMS'. With respect to the programs, they seem to be limited to the Health Academy. In relation to the offer of PCAF, it was observed that from 2015 to 2020 the percentage of participation of Nasf AB was always higher than 70%, reaching 82.3%. Thus, the panorama revealed in the MS, SES and SMS capitals sets up a timid arrangement of essential elements of organizational structure, funding, programs, and actions for the PCAF to advance as a public health policy. This study aimed at estimating the prevalence of stroke in older adults in Brazil, and at identifying the sociodemographic, health-related, health service-related, and environmental factors associated with independence in daily activities. Across-sectional, population-based study (Brazilian Longitudinal Study of Aging 2015-2016) was conducted. 536 individuals (≥ 50 years), from 9,412 participants, have had stroke and were included. Prevalence of stroke was 5.3% among individuals aged 50 years and over, increasing up to 8.0% among individuals aged 75 years and over, showing a dissimilar pattern between sex. Independence was associated with walking speed (Prevalence Ratio (PR) 2.72, 95%CI 1.96 to 3.77), physical activity (PR 1.24; 95%CI 1.04 to 1.47) and use of walking devices (PR 0.63; 95%CI 0.41 to 0.96). A significant interaction was found between walking speed plus home adaptations and performance of daily living activities (PR 3.42; 95%CI 1.04 to 11.29). The probability of independence was 40% among slow walkers ( 0.
