This study investigated the effect of five different cooking methods (boiling, oven-roasting, grilling, pan-frying and microwave) on the topographical changes, fatty acids (FAs) profile, fat oxidation, physicochemical characteristics, microbial quality, and sensory attributes of rabbit meat. This study is the first concerning the topographical structure of cooked rabbit meat using the scanning electron micrographs, which revealed minimal destructive changes in muscle fibers and connective tissue in pan-fried cooked samples and greatest destructive effect in grilling-cooked samples. Oven-roasting is the best cooking method since it achieved both the health benefits and consumer acceptability.

Here, we generated an induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) line, QBRIi012-A, from a 24-month-old boy with FBS and PNDM due to homozygous nonsense mutation in the SLC2A2 gene (c.901C > T). This study addresses that knowledge gap by examining four methods to determine national methane quotas, and two methods of GHG aggregation (GWP100 and GWP*) across four countries with contrasting agriculture, forestry and other land use (AFOLU) sectors and socio-economic contexts (Brazil, France, India and Ireland). Autotrophic nitrogen removal in the SPBR was investigated under both denitrification and denitritation conditions under different NO3- and NO2- loading rates (LRs) and feeding strategies (NO3- only, NO2- only, or both NO3- and NO2- in the feed). Batch activity tests were carried out during SPBR operation to evaluate the effect of different feeding conditions on nitrogen removal activity by the SPBR biofilm. The total extracellular polymeric substances (EPS) contents of sludges with and without bioleaching treatment were similar except for bioleaching treatment at 10% ferrous iron loading (on sludge total solids) where total EPS was higher with bioleaching treatment. However, bioleaching treatment for 48 h had a notable effect on removal of heavy metals, such as Mn, Ni and Zn, especially at the high loadings of ferrous iron. In the presence of A. ferrooxidans, the removal of Ni, Mn and Zn reached 93%, 88% and 80%, respectively, at a ferrous iron loading of 21%. The sequencing of 16S rRNA genes indicated that increasing ferrous iron loadings to 15% and 21% increased the relative abundance of Acidithiobacillus, Acidocella (with A. ferrooxidans) and Carboxylicivirga (without A. ferrooxidans) but decreased the abundance of Pseudomonas and Acinetobacter after 48 h treatment. This study enhanced the understanding of the correlations between bioleaching treatment of digested sludge, sludge dewaterability, heavy metal removal and bacterial communities.Deduction of urban green space (UGS) and the multidimensional growth of building have exacerbated the urban heat island (UHI). Yet thorough investigations into how 3D building features and UGS combinedly influence urban land surface temperature (LST) are limited, especially at the road-based blocks scale. Therefore, the study uses the boosted regression tree (BRT) model to explore the relative contribution and marginal effects of the influential factors on LST, and quantify the warming/cooling effects of buildings and UGS. Results show that, (1) building coverage ratio (BCR) is the most influential factor among seven building metrics with a relative contribution of 44.6%. Besides, high-rise buildings tend to alleviate LST while low- and mid-rise buildings heat the surroundings. (2) Green coverage ratio (GCR), edge density (ED), and patch density (PD) are the most influential factors among six UGS metrics, with the relative contribution of 21.0%, 20.9%, and 20.4%, respectively. (3) Comprehensively considering 13 metrics, we find that the dominant influential factor is BCR with a relative contribution of 28.
