The highest scores were found in the MS group and the lowest scores were found in the kidney transplantation group in every subscale of the GHQ-28. Close to half of the studied population (48.74%, n = 193) patients scored above the cut-off for psychopathology.
As the study was conducted during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic in Poland, it stands to reason that the pandemic affected the psychological wellbeing of chronically ill patients. A COVID-19 infection, being quarantined and having had contact with a person who was infected, did not significantly affect the outcome measures; however, further research is needed to explore this topic.

This review study provides an in-depth analysis of carbon NMR data of dimethyltin complexes. The absorptions shown by the carbonyl carbon, methyl groups attached to tin and the other carbons present in the complexes were presented in this study. The effects of nature and the number of substituents attached are also described in this report.
Perfusion index (PI) has use to monitor sympathetic response changes to pain. In this study, we aimed to evaluate the utility of using perfusion index as an objective marker of pain relief and of the need for rescue analgesia in ED patients with documented renal colic.
We conducted a prospective observational study between January 2020 and December 2020. The demographic characteristics of the patients, their complaints, nephrolithiasis histories, vital signs, PI, and VAS scores (on admission and after treatment) were recorded.
A total of 144 patients were included. All patients were administered 20 mg of Tenoxicam on admission. There was a statistically significant difference between the PI (<0.001) and VAS scores (<0.001) on admission and after the administration of Tenoxicam. 43.1% (n = 62) of the patients needed rescue analgesia. Accordingly to ROC curve, the ability of both PI
(AUC 0.615, 95%CI 0.519-0.711, p = 0.018) and ΔPI (AUC 0.601, 95%CI 0.508-0.694, p = 0.039) indices were determined as statistically significant. The cutoff value of the PI
level for the prediction of the needed rescue analgesia was 4.65 and the cutoff value for ΔPI (PI
PI
) was 2. All patients had a pain VAS score of <3 and a mean PI of 5.7 ± 2.9 at discharge from the emergency department.
In patients presenting to the emergency department with renal colic, the PI value on admission and after analgesic therapy can be helpful in assessing the severity of pain and predict the need for rescue analgesia.

This study follows the Design Science Research methodology and proposes a framework to systematise Business Continuity Management and streamline the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) design and implementation. The framework defines metrics providing strategical guidance and assessment of the Business Continuity Management initiatives. The framework provides a Business Continuity Management Model, an Implementation Guide, a Self-Assessment System, and a Measurement System. The model was developed based on a systematic literature review and guidelines from Business Continuity Management frameworks and standards. In the first iteration, we demonstrated and evaluated the framework through a Focus Group with experts in Business Continuity Management. In the second iteration, it was used and evaluated by professionals with responsibilities in Business Continuity Plan implementation, representing various business sectors. As a result, the framework is useful and complete, effective and enhances governance and is scalable and adaptable to organisations. This study concludes that the framework adds value to Business Continuity Management monitoring, gaps identification, and practitioner's guidance on what needs to be planned, done, checked and acted to manage continuity. The objective of present study was to evaluate the activity concentrations of 238U, 232Th and 40K and radiological hazards due to gamma exposure of shore sediment along the coastline of the Orange River, Oranjemund, Namibia. A total of 20 shore sediment samples were collected along the coastline of the Orange River. Shore sediment samples were analyzed using a Canberra Gamma Spectrometric detector inter phased with a multichannel analyzer (MCA) that was well calibrated for energy and efficiency respectively. The mean activity concentrations of 238U, 232Th and 40K for the shore sediment samples were 63.46 ± 9.83 Bqkg-1, 54.88 ± 5.03 Bqkg-1 and 416.99 ± 57.85 Bqkg-1 respectively. The mean activity concentrations of 238U, 232Th and 40K in the shore sediment samples were slightly higher than world reference levels. Also, the radiological hazards parameters of absorbed dose rates, annual effective dose equivalent (outdoor) and the excess lifetime cancer risk for the Orange River shore sediment samples were calculated. The mean values calculated for absorbed dose rates (63.98 nGy/h), annual effective dose equivalent (outdoor) (0.78 mSv/y) and excess lifetime cancer risk (2.73) were higher than the recommended limits, therefore long term radiation exposure of the local population along the coastline of the Orange River may pose significant health threat from radiological point of view. This study investigated warmed-over flavour profiles, microbial changes, shelf-life and sensory characteristics of minced cooked pork treated with Moringa oleifera (M. oleifera) root and leaf powder during refrigerated storage at 4 °C. A total of 8 treatments (control = no antioxidant; 0.5ML = 0.5% M. oleifera leaf; 1ML = 1% M. oleifera leaf; 0.5MR = 0.5 % M. oleifera root; 1MR = 1% M. oleifera root; 0.5MLR = 0.5% M. oleifera leaf and root mixed; 1MLR = 1% M. oleifera leaf and root mixed; BHT = 0.02% butylated hydroxytoluene) were evaluated. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of the plant extracts against the test bacteria was determined using the serial dilution in 96 well microtiter plates technique. Warmed-over flavour profiles were determined using the test for carbonyls assay where hexanal was used as a marker for warmed-over flavour. The check-all-that-apply sensory tool was used to characterise minced cooked pork treated with different antioxidants according to warmed-over flavour taste and odor can decrease warmed-over flavour development and improve the shelf-life of processed pork. Furthermore, the incorporation of M. oleifera root powder can potentially be more acceptable to consumers because of its colour compared to the leaf, which gives the product a green colour that may not be pleasant for some consumers. This suggests that the inclusion of the root powder at 1% may be well accepted for consumption by consumers.Undoped and Fe-doped CuO thin films with different weight ratios (3, 6, and 9 wt.% of Fe) were deposited onto glass substrates using the sol-gel spin coating technique. X-ray diffraction analysis of these samples indicated that all the films were polycrystalline, and crystallite size decreased with doping concentration. As revealed by scanning electron microscopy, Fe doping increased average particle size and improved size distribution in films. The bandgap of undoped CuO thin film was tuned from 3.48 to 2.79 by the addition of 9 wt.% Fe, and reasonable explanations have been presented. Optical parameters, such as refractive index, extinction coefficient, dielectric constant, and optical conductivity, were calculated for optoelectronic applications. Finally, antimicrobial properties were measured for their possibility to be used as disinfectants, and the antifungal activity of Fe-doped CuO thin films was shown to be more effective.China has promised to peak carbon emission before 2030 and to achieve carbon neutrality before 2060 (i.e., "double carbon" goal). Under this background, the emission reduction transformation path of China's electric power industry is studied in this paper. First, several boundary conditions (i.e., assumptions) of electric power structure transformation (i.e., the costs of power generations, the costs of energy storage systems, the developments of carbon sinks, the emission factors, and the quotas of carbon sinks) are given considering the whole society electricity consumption in the future. Second, a transformation path optimization model is established aim to minimize the total cost in the electric power industry. Then, according to the optimization results, the transformation predictions for the power industry under the "30·60 scenario" (i.e., the scenario that can achieve carbon peak and carbon neutrality before 2030 and 2060) are analyzed in detail, and are compared with the ones of "2 °C scenario" and "1.5 °C scenario" defined by IPCC. Bcl-2 inhibition Furthermore, the influence of different carbon prices on the transformation path is also analyzed. It can be concluded from the simulation results that the "30·60 scenario" is a scenario between "2 °C scenario" and "1.5 °C scenario", and carbon emission can be reduced rapidly under the guidance of high carbon prices.
Palm oil is the leading commodity of the plantation sub-sector in Indonesia, providing a tremendous economic impact for the people and the government. However, the development of oil palm plantations raises the issue of environmental damage because oil palms use large quantities of water. The purpose of this study is to explore circular water management accountability practices through disclosures issued by each company and the effectiveness of water management voluntary disclosure under the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards on increasing stakeholder trust and reducing information asymmetry.
This study used secondary data collected from reports published by plantation sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and accessible online. Analysis was performed using the method of Miles and Huberman (1992) data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. Data reduction was conducted by identifying plantation sub-sector companies that reported water manages in plantation sub-sector companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
This study raises the concepts of water accounting and circular water management accountability practices in plantation sub-sector companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).Based on recent clinical trials using sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 inhibitor (SGLT2i) demonstrating the significant improvement of outcomes of diabetic kidney disease (DKD), the paradigm shift from "glomerulocentric" to "tubule centric" pathophysiology in DKD progression has been highlighted. Several responsible mechanisms for renoprotective effects by SGLT2i have been proposed recently, but the changes in proximal tubule-specific gene expression by SGLT2i in diabetic mice have not been elucidated. We report the analysis of the proximal tubular-specific pathway, demonstrating the downregulation of oxidative phosphorylation in dapagliflozin-treated db/db mice, a type 2 diabetic model. After 8-week treatment of dapagliflozin for db/db mice having a proximal tubule-specific tdTomato reporter, tdTomato-positive cells were isolated by FACS. Pathway analysis of RNA sequencing of isolated tubular epithelia revealed that oxidative phosphorylation was downregulated in dapagliflozin-treated mice. However, depletion of renal tissue ATP content in db/db mice was ameliorated by dapagliflozin administration.
