Spontaneous Disappearance regarding Filar Abnormal growths Clinically determined by simply Transabdominal Ultrasonography: A written report of 3 Situations.
The rise of populist parties and movements in general and right-wing populist parties in particular has been noted also in the public health literature. While economic and other factors behind the populist surge have been systematically analyzed in the political and social science literature, the understanding of this political phenomenon seems weak in important parts of the public health literature. The lack of analysis of economic effects on health inequity of immigration of people with low levels of work skills to many high-income countries is given with the WHO Commission on Social Determinants of Health report as an example. Public health scholars should be able to fully analyze all effects on health inequity within countries. Public health scholars and professionals may lose credibility if they do not fully assess all relevant determinants, and the investigation of health inequity within countries should consider all systemic roots. Health inequity between countries is a crucial issue and should be addressed through international cooperation between countries, regions and international organizations. The approach from political science and social science should be adopted. © 2020 Published by Elsevier Ltd.Background In the growing need of microvascular surgery in modern-day plastic surgery, financial burden on surgeon or institution can discourage acquisition of skill particularly in the initial phase of laboratory simulation. This article describes the construction of a cheap, easy-to-make blood vessel model. Materials and method The model was made using infusion giving set, latex glove, scissors, tape measure and Swan glue CD 308. A cut sheet from the latex glove was rolled twice over two glue-painted segment of the infusion giving set stent. The stents were gently pulled out, turning the sheet into a conduit. The blood vessel model was then allowed to dry. Discussion The use of latex glove for initial training in microvascular anastomosis has been for long. Previously described productions into a conduit are cumbersome. This model is easy to construct and is useful in an office or dry laboratory setting. Conclusion The latex glove blood vessel model described in this article is a useful material in the training of budding microsurgeons. Residents in our institution have reported a very good learning experience with its use. © 2020 The Authors.Placental site trophoblastic tumor (PSTT) is a rare variant of gestational trophoblastic neoplasia (GTN) that is characterized by slow growth resulting in mostly uterine-confined disease, low human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) levels, and resistance to chemotherapy. Our objective was to update our center's experience with PSTT with respect to presentation, prognostic factors, treatment, and outcomes from 2003 to 2019. Thirteen women with PSTT were identified. Mean age was 32 years. The most frequent presenting symptom was abnormal uterine bleeding (69%). A uterine mass was noted in 62%. The diagnosis was usually established by endometrial biopsy or curettage (62%). Nonmolar pregnancy was the preceding gestation in 85%. Median time from last pregnancy to diagnosis was 13 months (range 0-240 months). Serum hCG levels at diagnosis ranged from 1 to 2606 mIU/mL (median 98 mIU/mL). Three women (23%) presented with metastatic disease. All 13 women underwent surgery 12 had a hysterectomy, 1 had a fertility-sparing hysteroscopic resection, and 2 underwent pulmonary metastatectomy. Nine women (69%) also received chemotherapy for persistently elevated hCG levels after hysterectomy (2), high-risk factors (4), or metastatic disease (3). Overall survival was 100% with a median survival of 65 months (range 30-167 months). Survival for PSTT increased from 57% to 100%, including from 33% to 100% for metastatic disease, at our center from 1982 to 2003 to 2003-2017. Surgery is the most important component in the treatment of women with PSTT. M3541 clinical trial Multidrug platinum/etoposide- chemotherapy should be used in women with metastatic disease and considered in women with nonmetastatic disease with high-risk features. © 2020 Published by Elsevier Inc.External and internal surface temperatures values of coated steel plates and the interior air temperature of a box-like model were collected throughout the time under different conditions an artificial infrared radiation source was placed facing the external side of the plate to promote the temperature change, the energy power was variated by changing the distance from the plate and simultaneously different airflow conditions were inputted, data was collected by making experiments using the combination of distance and airflow changes. Reflectance raw data, of the materials, was also acquired by measuring the reflectance index of the samples according to ASTM E903 "Standard Test Method for Solar Absorptance, Reflectance, and Transmittance of Materials Using Integrating Spheres". Amplified optical images and infrared images of the samples were taken (using a "Flir e4" infrared camera) while they were under the influence of the source in the three chosen distances (60 cm, 40 cm and 20 cm). Considering that researches at this particular field lack of more direct comparisons of temperature, reflectance and heat flux behaviours; between special high reflectance coatings and common ones when the substrate is steel, when the direction of airflow is changed and when the source is an infrared one; measurements intending to give faster insights and directions were done. These insights can be used by anyone who intends to develop new coating materials and compare them with already existing ones to streamline their researches in this area. Finally, the buying costs of these coatings, similar to commercially used ones, are showed. © 2020 The Author(s).The data supplied in this work are related to the research article entitled "Characterization of Bispecific and Mispaired IgGs by Native Charge-Variant Mass Spectrometry" (Phung et al., 2019). This data article describes a powerful analytical platform using native weak cation exchange chromatography coupled to a high-resolution mass spectrometer, charge variant mass spectrometry (CV-MS), to characterize bispecific and mispaired antibody species. Elution order is investigated through analytical methods and molecular modeling in an effort to understand the intrinsic charge, size and shape differences of these molecules. © 2020 The Author(s).In this work we present three-dimensional (3D) measurements of Brillouin scattering spectra of the in-vivo zebrafish larvae eye. This dataset was obtained by Brillouin microscopy, an emerging all-optical and non-contact technique that gives access to material properties through the process of Brillouin scattering. Herein, we share a representative 3D dataset of spectral properties of 48-52 h post-fertilization (hpf) zebrafish embryos. These spectral properties can be related to a complex longitudinal modulus and thus elastic and viscous properties given knowledge of refractive index and material density. The dataset encompasses the crystalline lens as well as several different retinal layers. This data provides a valuable resource as well as a starting point for researchers interested in the mechanobiology of vertebrate eye development. © 2020 The Author(s).This data article presents a dataset with 34 values of the fatty acids composition and of indicators of lipid oxidation determined in the Longissimus dorsi and Semitendinosus from 71 Normand cull-cows at slaughter, after muscle aging and after meat storage periods under different packaging conditions. Cows were subjected to 3 feeding diets and 2 slaughter protocols relative to pre-slaughter stress. The indicators of lipids, FA composition, antioxidative enzymes activities, antioxidative status and global lipid oxidation of the muscles, and meat at different time points and under different aging and storage conditions, may be used to increase our understanding of the evolution of oxidation and consequences on color development. The last research article published on part of these data [1] is available for some interpretive insights https//doi.org/10.1016/j.foodchem.2019.125668. © 2020 The Author(s).To compare the whole genomic microRNA (miRNA) between the selective fetal growth restriction (sFGR) twin and the normally growing (control) co-twin in monochorionic (MC) twin pregnancies. MC twin pregnancies with or without sFGR were recruited, and their placental miRNAs were profiled by microarray. The ratio of the placental miRNA of the sFGR twin to that of the normally larger co-twin were calculated and compared to that of the control twin pairs. The miRNA microarray intensity amongst normal and sFGR large and small twins are shown. The expression data presented here will facilitate other researchers who are working on placental regulation and mechanism in pregnancy complicated by fetal growth restriction. The dataset supports the research article entitle "Whole genome miRNA profiling revealed miR-199a as potential placental pathogenesis of selective fetal growth restriction in monochorionic twin pregnancies" [1]. © 2020 The Authors. Background Tuberculosis (TB) still remains endemic worldwide making epidemiological studies essential to mitigating efforts implicated in identifying its source, controlling, and preventing the spread of dangerous strains amongst humans such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb). Methods In this study, we sought to determine the 6 Mycobacterial Interspersed Repetitive Unit-Variable-Number Tandem Repeat (MIRU-VNTR) loci with high discriminatory powers for Mtb genotyping as well as the loci with the highest and the lowest discriminatory powers for MIRU-VNTR. To conduct our search, we used several databases such as science direct, Embase (Elsevier), Web of Science, Scopus and Medline via PubMed. Searches were performed using key words including Mycobacterium tuberculosis, MIRU-VNTR, Allele diversity, Genetic diversity and human patient. Finally, 56 articles were selected after filtering out titles, abstracts and full texts. Results Loci with high discriminatory powers included MIRU10 and MIRU26, while MIRU2, MIRU20, MIRU24 and ETRD had poor discriminatory powers. According to previous data in the literature, the loci MIRU10, MIRU26, MIRU40, QUB 26, QUB 11b and Mtub21 have high discriminatory powers. Conclusion Therefore, these loci recommended for genotyping Mtb to save time and cost and to ensure the production of reliable results. Background Sex selection of sperm by separating X- and Y-chromosome bearing spermatozoa is critical for efficiently obtaining the desired sex of animal offspring in the livestock industry. The purpose of this study was to produce a goat polyclonal antibody (pAb) against the bovine Sex Determining Region Y chromosome (bSRY) to separate female- and male-bearing spermatozoa. Methods To produce a goat polyclonal antibody against bSRY, a female goat was subcutaneously immunized with 27 kDa of recombinant bSRY (rbSRY) protein as the antigen. The anti-bSRY pAb was purified by ion-exchange chromatography. The purity of the pAb was determined using the SDS-PAGE method. The biological activity of the anti-bSRY pAb was examined using PCR to assess the binding affinity of pAb for the bSRY antigen and commercially sexed bull sperm. Results The total amount of purified anti-bSRY pAb was approximately 650 mg/goat serum (13 mg/mL). Interestingly, our data showed that the binding affinity of our pAb to the Y bearing was high, while the binding affinity of that to the X-chromosome bearing sperm was similar to the negative control.
