If you don't like your experience and the students coming out of the school aren't satisfactory to the companies they go to work for then the school is going to die a long, slow death. Nobody will want to attend. So they will get straight to work filling you with information.... and tons of it.
Professional truck drivers are required to obtain a CDL - a commercial driver's license in order to maintain truck driver jobs. JD Truck Training Centre Instructors will wander over now and then to see how things are going and offer advice. But for the most part it will be students helping out students. This was a popular way of doing things because there wasn't as much stress when instructor weren't constantly watching our every move.

First I like to point out the legal side. This is a BIG ONE. Being a truck driver is fun and you can make a lot, or a ton of money. So what do I mean legal? Because we both know that you need a CDL license to drive... When I say legal we are looking at your MVR (Motor Vehicle Record). Why is this important? If you have 1 too many violations most trucking companies will not hire you. This is what the trucking schools do not tell you.
You will be separated into groups and will move from "station" to station where you'll take turns practicing the different maneuvers. These sessions will be largely run by students. Instructors will show how a move is done, then will generally leave the students alone to practice among themselves.
