05). ②In term of total effective rate in follow-up, acupuncture, moxibustion, acupoint thread-embedding and auricular point therapy were superior to western medication (
<0.05); acupuncture and moxibustion were superior to acupoint application (
<0.05). Moxibustion was most likely to be the best treatment (
<0.05). ③In term of total score of nasal symptom, moxibustion and acupoint thread-embedding were superior to acupuncture (

XIAO Shao-qing's understanding of acupoint compatibility rules shows a process from simple listing to systematic improvement, which is reflected as the increase or decrease of the number of acupoint compatibility methods, the revision of the concept and connotation of acupoint compatibility methods, and the adjustment of the example content of acupoint compatibility rules. His clinical prescriptions of acupuncture and moxibustion highlight the academic idea of taking the indications of meridians and acupoints as the basis, using syndrome differentiation and treatment as the core, and selecting acupoints for symptoms as the auxiliary.By searching the randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of acupuncture and moxibustion from CNKI since its inception date to december 31 of 2019, the development status and hot trend of RCTs of acupuncture and moxibustion in China were summarized. The CiteSpace and VOSviewer software were used to perform keyword co-occurrence analysis, clustering analysis, time-zone analysis and citation-burst analysis, and visual map was drawn. As a result, a total of 60 995 articles were included, which were published in 1027 academic journals with 1787 keywords. The publication date was from 1975 to 2019. During the past 45 years, the publications of RCTs on acupuncture and moxibustion had shown an overall growth trend with characteristics of the times. The RCTs of manual acupuncture ranked the top, and its proportion of publications every 5 years was stable in the past 30 years. Since 1994, the hot words such as electroacupuncture, warming needling, auricular point sticking and various acupoint therapies had emerged; meanwhile, the spectrum of diseases had broadened, and an evolutionary trend corresponding to therapies and disease systems had been formed. In recent decade, the RCTs using moxibustion therapy have increased significantly, and the hot words such as "sub-health" "winter diseases being treated in summer" and "acupoint application/ moxibustion during the dog days" had indicated that acupuncture clinical research was further inclined to the field of chronic disease prevention and health services, which was in line with social development and the needs of the times.Taking the clinical trial of acupuncture in treatment of postprandial distress syndrome as an example, this paper proposes that the acupuncture clinical trial protocol should be optimized in view of acupuncture prescription, acupuncture frequency and outcomes. Besides, the data quality of acupuncture clinical trial should be improved in consideration of data sharing and electronic data capture so as to provide a reference for the majority of researchers to optimize and implement acupuncture clinical trial. The elements of ethical review related to clinical research of acupuncture and moxibustion is discussed to provide ideas for various institutions to carry out relevant ethical review. It is believed that the ethical review of clinical research of acupuncture and moxibustion needs to focus on the specificity of acupuncture and moxibustion. Starting from the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine, the theory of meridians and acupoints and the theory of syndrome differentiation along meridians, the key contents of ethical review such as intervention methods, grouping design and placebo control should be considered, so as to standardize the clinical research of acupuncture and moxibustion and protect the health and rights and interests of participants. The differences in the objective, starting point, disease spectrum and interventions of acupuncture-moxibustion clinical trials at home and abroad are collected. By taking two articles of acupuncture-moxibustion clinical trials in foreign countries accepted by JAMA as example, the reasons are analyzed on the dual character of negative and positive results obtained in acupuncture-moxibustion trials of foreign countries. The therapeutic regimens in acupuncture-moxibustion clinical trials in foreign countries are lack of TCM thinking, the manipulation of interventions have not displayed the basic principle of TCM in treatment of diseases, which is separated the theory from the practice in treatment with Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture-moxibustion. Besides, the advantages in therapeutic effect of acupuncture-moxibustion have not been truly reflected. CSF-1R inhibitor Regarding the dual character of negative and positive results in acupuncture-moxibustion clinical trials of foreign countries, it is suggested that acupuncture-moxibustion has not been thoroughly understood in foreign countries and its research content have not been in compliance with the theory of traditional acupuncture-moxibustion.Professor ZHENG believes that the interaction of internal factors and external factors leads to qi and blood obstruction on muscle surface and skin, thus eczema occurs. This disease is classified into 3 types, i.e. invasion of damp heat, spleen deficiency and damp retention, and blood deficiency and wind dryness, corresponding to acute stage, sub-acute stage and chronic stage successively in western medicine. The treatment principle refers to "regulating qi, detoxification, removing stasis and tonifying for deficiency" in Zhuang medicine. In local skin lesion, surrounding acupuncture, medicated thread moxibustion and lotus-needling and cupping for removing stasis are adopted. Regarding holistic regulation, acupuncture is applied to the points around the umbilicus and traditional acupoints to regulate qi, tonify deficiency and balance zangfu functions.Professor YIN Ke-jing's experience of Jingluo Bietong acupuncture technique for shoulder arthralgia is summarized. According to the location of pain, shoulder arthralgia is divided into hand-taiyin type, hand-yangming type, hand-shaoyang type, hand-taiyang type and mixed type. The acupoint selection is based on Jingluo Bietong acupuncture technique, and Shugu (BL 65) or Feiyang (BL 58) are selected for hand-taiyin type, Taichong (LR 3) for hand-yangming type, Taixi (KI 3) and Dazhong (KI 4) for hand-shaoyang type, and Taibai (SP 3) or Diji (SP 8) for hand-taiyang type. In addition, combined with acupuncture at the blocking points of meridians and Xiangu (ST 43), better efficacy could be obtained.
To observe the effect of electroacupuncture (EA) at "Neiguan" (PC 6) on cardiac function and cardiomyocyte apoptosis in rats with acute myocardial ischemia (AMI), and to explore the correlation between myocardial protective effect of EA and inflammatory factors i.e. interleukin-1β (IL-1β) and interleukin-17 (IL-17) of "Neiguan" (PC 6) area.
A total of 40 male SD rats with normal ultrasonic cardiogram were randomized into a sham-operation group, a sham-operation plus EA group, a model group and an EA group, 10 rats in each group. The AMI model was established by ligating the left anterior descending (LAD) branch of the coronary artery in the model group and the EA group, while the threading without ligating was adopted in the sham-operation group and the sham-operation plus EA group. In the sham-operation plus EA group and the EA group, EA at bilateral "Neiguan" (PC 6) was applied, with disperse-dense wave, 2 Hz/100 Hz in frequency and 2 mA in density, once a day, 20 min a time for 3 days. The cardiac ejecflammatory factors was aggravating in skin dermis of "Neiguan" (PC 6) area, and the positive expression of IL-1β and IL-17 of "Neiguan" (PC 6) area was increased in the EA group (
<0.001,
<0.01).
Electroacupuncture at "Neiguan" (PC 6) can improve the cardiac function and reduce the apoptosis of cardiomyocyte in rats with acute myocardial ischemia, its mechanism may be related to the regulation of the inflammatory factors of "Neiguan" (PC 6) area.

To observe the effect of acupuncture for regulating spleen and stomach on aspirin resistance in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and explore the effect mechanism.
A total of 68 T2DM patients complicated with aspirin resistance were randomized into an observation group and a control group, 34 cases in each one. On the base of the conventional treatment for diabetes, aspirin enteric-coated tablets were prescribed for oral administration, 100 mg each time, once daily in the control group. In the observation group, on the basis of the treatment as the control group, acupuncture was used for regulating spleen and stomach at Zhongwan (CV 12), Zusanli (ST 36), Yinlingquan (SP 9), Hegu (LI 4), etc., once daily. The treatment for 1 week was as one course and 4 courses of treatment were required totally in two groups. Before and After treatment, the indexes of platelet function (platelet aggregation rate [PAG] and salicylic acid concentration), the indexes of vascular endothelial function (6-keone prosed tablets.
Acupuncture for regulating spleen and stomach combined with aspirin enteric-coated tablets relieve insulin resistance and reduces blood glucose and lipid as well as the recurrence rate of cardiocerebrovascular events in the patients with T2DM, which is probably related to the regulation of insulin resistance and the improvement of vascular endothelial function. This combined therapy achieves the better effect on aspirin resistance as compared with simple aspirin enteric-coated tablets.
To observe the efficacy of
inhibition type Ⅰ acupuncture for acne with spleen-stomach dampness-heat, and to explore its possible action mechanism.
A total of 82 patients of acne with spleen-stomach dampness-heat were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, 41 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated with
capsules (1 g, 3 times per day) and 0.1% adapalene gel smear (once every night) for 4 weeks. The patients in the observation group were treated with
inhibition type Ⅰ acupuncture at Hegu (LI 4), Neiting (ST 44), Quchi (LI 11), Yangbai (GB 14), Sibai (ST 2), Qihai (CV 6), Xuehai (SP 10), Yinlingquan (SP 9) and skin lesions, once every other day, 7 times as a course of treatment, totaling for 2 courses of treatment. The skin lesion score of the global acne grading system (GAGS) and quality of life-acne (Qol-Acne) score as well as the serum levels of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) were compared between the two groups before and after treatment; the clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups, and the recurrence rate was evaluated 4 weeks after treatment.
