According to FDA guidelines, the method was validated, achieving good linearities with r2 ≥ 0.9982, recoveries between 94.0 and 102.4%, and reproducibility with RSD lower than 4.5%. The method was applied to simultaneously determine the compounds in 60 different beverage samples, including beer, coffee, black tea, and fruit juices. The presence of secondary lipid oxidation products is demonstrated in beverages with a strong roasting process or oxidation.Enniatins (ENA, ENA1, ENB and ENB1) are emerging mycotoxins reported in malt used for brewing. This study aimed to assess the fate of ENA, ENA1, ENB and ENB1 throughout Ale beer brewing using a validated method based on matrix-matched calibration (MMC) and liquid chromatography with quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry detection. MMC avoided the inaccurate quantification of all enniatins, since the matrix effects that cause signal suppression have been overcome. The validated method displayed linearity (R2 > 0.99), recovery (>88%), repeatability and intermediate precision (RSD less then 9.0%) in accordance with the different guidelines of method validation. The values of LOD ( less then 0.1 μg kg-1) and LOQ ( less then 0.5 μg kg-1) were sensitive enough to detect enniatins throughout brewing. In the Ale beer production stages, enniatins levels were significantly reduced, ensuring that beers were free of these mycotoxins. In contrast, enniatins were found in all by-products of beer production due to their low water solubility.Anderson-Evans type polyoxometalate group (Na6[TeW6O24]·22 H2O, TeW6) was combined with porous metal-organic framework ZIF-8 by electrostatic interaction to obtain a novel Anderson-Evans polyoxometalate-based metal-organic framework composite, TeW6 @ZIF-8. FT-IR, Raman, XRD, TG, DSC, SEM, and TEM were used to characterize the composite. It was proved that the Anderson-Evans type polyoxometalate group TeW6 was successfully hybridized with metal-organic framework ZIF-8, and the composite possesses good stability. Based on the potential interaction between TeW6 and proteins and the coordination between imidazole groups in ZIF-8 and proteins with a porphyrin ring structure, the adsorption selectivity towards different proteins on the TeW6 @ZIF-8 composite was studied in this work. The experiment results showed that the TeW6 @ZIF-8 composite was selectively adsorbed to cytochrome C. At pH 11.0, the adsorption efficiency of 94.01% was obtained for processing 1.0 mL 100 μg mL-1 cytochrome C with 3.0 mg TeW6 @ZIF-8 composite. The adsorption behavior of cytochrome C fits well with the Langmuir adsorption model, corresponding to a theoretical adsorption capacity of 232.56 mg g-1. The retained cytochrome C could be readily recovered by 1% SDS (m/m), giving rise to a recovery of 65.6%. Circular dichroism spectra indicate no conformational change for cytochrome C after the adsorption and desorption processes, demonstrating the favorable biocompatibility of TeW6 @ZIF-8 composite. In applying practical samples, SDS-PAGE results showed that cytochrome C was successfully isolated and purified by TeW6 @ZIF-8 composite from porcine heart protein extract, which is further identified with LC-MS/MS. Thus, a new strategy for separating and purifying cytochrome C from the porcine heart using TeW6 @ZIF-8 composite as an adsorbent was established.In native bone tissue regeneration, blood vessels, providing oxygen and nutrition for tissues, can promote the regeneration of bone and accelerate the repair of a defected area. In this study, Poly(D, L-lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) inverse opal scaffolds with high pore interconnectivity were fabricated and further modified with vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). The rat bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells (rMSCs) and human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) were co-cultured onto the scaffolds to enhance vascularization for bone tissue regeneration. Cell attachment, viability, proliferation, and morphology were detected by cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8) assay, live and dead staining and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Hydrostatic pressure with 0-279 KPa and 1 Hz one hour per day for 7 days was applied to tissue engineered bone constructs to investigate whether the loading stimulation can promote osteogenesis and angiogenesis mutually evaluated in parallel by multiple in vitro assays and in an in vivo chicken chorioallantoic membrane (CAM) model. Vancomycin hydrochloride(Van) /Poly(lactic-co-glycolic) acid(PLGA) microspheres prepared by double emulsion method were successfully loaded into β-tricalcium phosphate scaffold through electrostatic and physical crosslinking. Full characterization, including mechanical properties, biocompatibility, in vitro release profile and antibacterial properties of the composite scaffolds(CPSFs) were performed. The rabbit osteomyelitis model based on big hole and small hole methods was established. Pharmacodynamics study, including the local bacteriostatic and osteogenic ability were evaluated by X-ray, Micro-CT and histopathology at 4 months after surgery. These findings indicate that a reliable rabbit model of local bone defect infection successfully established by big hole approach. The CPSFs with significant histocompatibility and biocompatibility could sustained release vancomycin for extended duration. The present study aimed to assess the association between GWG and the risk of developing PPD by means of a meta-analysis. PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, Cochrane Library, China Biology Medicine disk, Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure, Weipu, and Wanfang database were searched up to May 19, 2021 to identify relevant studies that evaluated the association between GWG and PPD. Meta-analysis was conducted by using RevMan software and Stata software. Subgroup and sensitivity analyses were carried out to explore the potential heterogeneity source, and Begg's funnel plots and Begg's linear regression test were performed to assess the potential publication bias. A total of sixteen studies involving 100,438 participants were identified in this study. Overall, the total, excessive and inadequate GWG was significantly associated with a higher risk of developing PPD. These results emphasize the necessity of strengthening the prevention and intervention of excessive and inadequate weight gain during pregnancy to promote maternal and infant health. However, further studies on the association between GWG at different stages of pregnancy and the risk of developing PPD are warranted.Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) is a promising tool for alleviating positive and negative symptoms of schizophrenia, but its role in functional outcome remains uncertain. This meta-analysis examined the effects of tDCS on general psychopathology symptoms (GPS) from the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) because GPS are closely associated with daily functioning. Literature search using Medline and PsycINFO identified 8 randomized controlled trials with tDCS and PANSS. The GPS were significantly reduced after tDCS but there was no evidence for long-term treatment effects.
