Diagnosing Biliary Strictures: Distinct IgG4-Related Sclerosing Cholangitis From Cholangiocarcinoma and Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis.
Background Depression is one of the major causes for sick leave and loss of productivity at work. Many studies have investigated return to work (RTW) interventions for people with common mental disorders. However, a paucity of studies has targeted depressive symptoms in the workplace, as well as work productivity. Objectives This study presents preliminary results on a novel group intervention based on cognitive behavioral principles in order to optimize sustainable RTW, by reducing clinical symptoms (anxiety and depression) and improving work productivity. Method This pilot study followed a quasi-experimental design, with participants randomly receiving the group intervention (N = 19) or only receiving usual services (N = 11, control group). The group intervention called Healthy Minds for Sustainable RTW consists of eight sessions based on cognitive behavioral therapy principles and techniques. Outcome measures on depressive and anxiety symptoms and work productivity were administered at baseline (i.e. the start of return-to-work or gradual RTW), as well 2 months later (post-intervention), and at 6-month follow-up. Results The results did not show a time × group interaction for symptoms of depression or anxiety (p = 0.07). Those who received the group intervention however did see a within-group reduction in anxiety and depressive symptoms over time, clinically significant for the group intervention only. A significant time × group interaction for work productivity was found, with those in the intervention group improving over time compared to the control condition. Conclusion Although replication is needed, these results suggest that a brief group cognitive-behavioral intervention specifically tailored to work-related issues is promising. Future studies are warranted, particularly with larger samples and remote webconferencing delivery.
This review examines the literature on technology-facilitated sexual violence (TFSV). The prevalence, perpetrators, harms, and victims of a selection of types of TFSV are covered. Particularly, the topics of image-based sexual abuse, video voyeurism, sending of unsolicited sexual images, and the use of technology to facilitate in-person sexual violence are discussed.

The literature suggests that the types of TFSV discussed are prevalent and the impacts far-reaching. There is emerging evidence outlining the characteristics associated with and motivations behind these acts of TFSV. The impacts of TFSV victimization can be diverse and damaging. Many questions about TFSV are unanswered, highlighting the need for more empirical investigations. Technology can be used to facilitate sexual violence through several means. Besides, Sox2 has been reported to be a dental epithelium stem cell marker in the incisor. However, the exact mechanism of Sox2 controlling amelogenesis is still not quite clearly elucidated. Here we report that conditional deletion of Sox2 in the dental epithelium using Shhcre caused impaired ameloblast differentiation in the labial side and induced ectopic ameloblast-like cell differentiation on the lingual side. Abnormal FGF gene expression was detected by RNAscope in situ hybridization in the mutant incisor. Collectively, we speculate that asymmetric ameloblast lineage commitment of mouse incisor might be regulated by Sox2 through FGF signaling.
This is the final report evaluating the long-term outcomes of a single-arm phase II clinical trial that demonstrated the short-term efficacy of laparoscopic gastrectomy (LG) for highly advanced gastric cancer (AGC) [KUGC04].

Seventy-three patients with histologically confirmed gastric adenocarcinoma and diagnosed with clinical stage II or higher, who potentially underwent curative resection between August 2009 and November 2014, were prospectively enrolled. Long-term outcomes with 5-year progression-free survival (PFS) and 5-year overall survival (OS) were evaluated according to clinical or pathological stages. Recurrence and progression patterns were also investigated. These outcomes were compared with those of previous reports to assess the applicability of LG for highly advanced gastric cancer (HAGC).

The median observation period of all surviving patients was 75.1 months. The 5-year PFS and 5-year OS of all patients was 47.4% and 54.4%, respectively. Clinical stage-specific 5-year PFS and 5-year OS was 75.0, 69.1, 53.9, 39.4, 40.0 and 9.1, and 75.0, 68.8, 61.5, 45.0, 60.0 and 27.3, respectively, in stages IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB, IIIC, and IV, respectively. Pathological stage-specific 5-year PFS and 5-year OS, including ypStage with preoperative chemotherapy, was 100, 80.0, 100, 62.5, 80.0, 51.3, 16.7, 22.2 and 12.5, and 100, 80.0, 100, 75.0, 80.0, 64.2, 25.0, 33.3 and 12.5, respectively, in stage X (no residual tumor with preoperative chemotherapy), IA, IB, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB, IIIC, and IV, respectively. Recurrence or progression was observed in 30 patients (41.1%).

Poor patient-reported satisfaction after breast-conserving therapy (BCT) has been associated with impaired health-related quality of life (HRQOL) and subsequent depression in retrospective analysis. This prospective cohort study aimed to assess the HRQOL of patients who have undergone BCT using the BREAST-Q, and to identify clinical risk factors for lower patient satisfaction.

Patients with primary breast cancer undergoing BCT were asked to complete the BREAST-Q preoperatively (T1) for baseline evaluation, then 3 to 4 weeks postoperatively (T2), and finally 1 year after surgery (T3). Clinicopathologic data were extracted from the patients' charts. Repeated measures analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to determine significant differences in mean satisfaction and well-being levels among the test intervals. Multiple linear regression was used to evaluate risk factors for lower satisfaction.

The study enrolled 250 patients. The lowest baseline BREAST-Q score was reportedfor "satisfaction with breast" (mean, 61 ± 19), but this increased postoperatively (mean, 66 ± 18) and was maintained at the 1 year follow-up evaluation (mean, 67 ± 21). "Physical well-being" decreased from T1 (mean, 82 ± 17) to T2 (mean, 28 ± 13) and did not recover much by T3 (mean, 33 ± 13), being the lowest BREAST-Q score postoperatively and in the 1-year follow-up evaluation. In multiple regression, baseline psychosocial well-being, body mass index (BMI), and type of incision were risk factors for lower "satisfaction with breasts."

Both the aesthetic/surgery-related and psychological aspects are equally important with regard to "satisfaction with breasts" after BCT. The data could serve as the benchmark for future studies.

We sought to distinguish area at risk from salvage myocardial zone and to predict left ventricle functional recovery in the convalescent stage by Texture Analysis (TA) of T2-Mapping.

One hundred and six patients diagnosed with AMI and treated with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) underwent acute cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) and 45 of whom had a subsequent CMR scan following recovery. Cine imaging, T2-Mapping, T2-weighted STIR imaging, and LGE imaging were performed. In the texture analysis, regions of interest (infarcted, salvageable, and remote) were drawn by two blinded, independent readers.

Seven independent texture features on T2-Mapping were selected Perc.50%, S(2,2)InvDfMom, S(2.-2)AngScMom, S(4,0)Entropy, 45dgrLngREmph, 45dgr_Fraction and 135dr_GLevNonU. Among them, the average value of 135dr_GLevNonU in the infarct zone, AAR zone, and the remote zone was 61.96±26.03, 31.811±18.933 and 99.839±26.231, respectively. Additionally, 135dr_GLevNonU provided the highest area under the curve (AUC) from the receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC curve) for distinguishing AAR from the infarct zone in each subgroup (all patients, patients with MVO and)were 0.845 ± 0.052 0.855 ± 0.083 and 0.845 ± 0.066, respectively, and were more promise than T2-Mapping mean (p<0.001). The AUC for differentiating AAR from the remote zone is 0.942±0.041. Texture features are not associated with convalescent decreased strain, ejection fraction (EF) or left ventricle remodeling (LVR) in analysis (p>0.05).

A TUNUL assay kit was used to detect the level of apoptosis. Western blotting analysis was used to measure the expression of proteins.
