It is necessary to continue to evaluate the behavior of the mother and child.Research on avian vocalisations has traditionally focused on male song produced by oscine passerines. However, accumulating evidence indicates that complex vocalisations can readily evolve outside the traditional contexts of mate attraction and territory defence by male birds, and yet the previous bias towards male song has shaped - and continues to shape - our understanding of avian communication as a whole. Accordingly, in this review we seek to address this imbalance by synthesising studies on female vocalisations from across signalling contexts throughout the Aves, and discuss the implications of recent empirical advances for our understanding of vocalisations in both sexes. This review reveals great structural and functional diversity among female vocalisations and highlights the important roles that vocalisations can play in mediating female-specific behaviours. However, fundamental gaps remain. While there are now several case studies that identify the function of female vocalisations, few quantify then in both sexes, across ecological contexts and taxonomic divides.
It is suggested that patients with defecation disorders (DD) strain excessively or do a Valsalva maneuver (VM) during evacuation, resulting in rectoanal discoordination, which hinders rectal evacuation. However, definitive data are lacking.

Rectoanal pressures during evacuation and a VM were measured with seated high-resolution manometry (HRM) in 64 healthy and 136 constipated women with a normal (84 women, C-normal) or prolonged (52 women, C-abnormal) balloon expulsion time (BET). The number of abnormal rectoanal parameters during evacuation and the joint distribution of pressures during evacuation and a VM were used to discriminate between controls and C-abnormal BET patients.

The peak anal pressure (5s) during a VM accounted for 0%, 26%, and 49% of the variance in anal pressure during evacuation in healthy women, C-normal BET, and C-abnormal BET. The association between anal pressure during a VM and evacuation was stronger in C-abnormal BET than in healthy women and C-normal BET (p for interaction <0.001). Fifty-eight of 64 controls and 33 of 52 C-abnormal BET patients had no or one abnormal parameter during evacuation; hence, the probability of C-abnormal BET was 33/91 (36%). In patients with no or one abnormal parameter during evacuation, a logistic model based on anal pressures during evacuation and a VM discriminated between controls and patients with C-abnormal BET with a sensitivity and a specificity of 67% and 75%.

Persistent physical symptoms (PPS) are often associated with profound physical disability and psychological distress. Interventions for PPS that promote behavioural change aim to reduce levels of symptoms and improve overall functioning in patients. The evidence for these interventions is mixed, with effective relationships between patients and health practitioners (HPs) reported as the key to the success of primary care interventions. The objectives of this systematic review were to synthesize the qualitative evidence and to evaluate the acceptability of behavioural interventions for PPS in primary care, from the perspective of both patients and HPs.

A comprehensive literature search was conducted in seven major electronic bibliographic databases, to February 2019. The aim was to identify a broad range of literature including, qualitative research, mixed methods research, and qualitative data embedded in trial reports or process evaluations. Fifty-eight full papers were screened against the inclusion crivision to address their lack of confidence, and improve their knowledge of PPS.

In a total of 647 angiographically intermediate lesions with QCA-DS between 30 and 70% in 502 patients, predictors of having QCA-DS >50% and dPR
> 0.89 (QCA-dPR
mismatch), and those of having QCA-DS ≤50% and dPR
≤ 0.89 (QCA-dPR
reverse mismatch) were determined. FFR ≤0.80 was defined as positive FFR and the predictors of QCA-FFR discordance were determined as well.

QCA-dPR
mismatch and reverse mismatch were observed in 27.5 and 17.6% of cases, respectively. The predictors of mismatch were non-left anterior descending artery (LAD) lesion, large minimal lumen diameter, low baseline heart rate, and high coronary flow reserve (CFR), while those of reverse mismatch were LAD lesion, non-culprit lesion of acute coronary syndrome, long lesion length, low left ventricular ejection fraction, and low CFR and index of microcirculatory resistance. Age, sex, and the culprit vessel of prior myocardial infarction were not significant determinants of QCA-dPR
discordance unlike QCA-FFR discordance derived from the same cohort.

Supported by quantum chemical calculations, experiments detected product molecules as they sublime from the ices using photoionization reflectron time-of-flight mass spectrometry (PI-ReTOF-MS). Isotopically-labeled ices confirmed the C2 H3 N assignments while photon energies of 8.81 eV, 9.80 eV, and 10.49 eV were utilized to discriminate isomers based on their known ionization energies. Results indicate the formation of ethynamine (HCCNH2 ) and 2H-azirine (c-H2 CCHN) in the irradiated C2 H2 NH3 ices, and the energetics of their formation mechanisms are discussed. These findings suggest that these two isomers can form in interstellar ices and, upon sublimation during the hot core phase, could be detected using radio astronomy.Solid-state lithium batteries (SSLBs) are promising owing to enhanced safety and high energy density but plagued by the relatively low ionic conductivity of solid-state electrolytes and large electrolyte-electrode interfacial resistance. Herein, we design a poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene) (PVDF-HFP)-based polymer-in-salt solid electrolyte (PISSE) with high room-temperature ionic conductivity (1.24×10-4  S cm-1 ) and construct a model integrated TiO2 /Li SSLB with 3D fully infiltration of solid electrolyte. With forming aggregated ion clusters, unique ionic channels are generated in the PISSE, providing much faster Li+ transport than common polymer electrolytes. The integrated device achieves maximized interfacial contact and electrochemical and mechanical stability, with performance close to liquid electrolyte. A pouch cell made of 2 SSLB units in series shows high voltage plateau (3.7 V) and volumetric energy density comparable to many commercial thin-film batteries.
The present study aimed to explore patients' experiences of participating in their rehabilitation process in the context of specialised rehabilitation in Norway.

The rights of patients to participate in their care and treatment is an ideology that underlines newer international and Norwegian public documents. However, there is a gap between policy statements and clinical practice, and a discrepancy between patients' and professionals' statements about patient participation in rehabilitation.

A qualitative approach with a narrative design.

Eleven patients were individually interviewed to tell their stories about the rehabilitation processes. We utilised narrative analysis with a three-dimensional space narrative structure including temporality, sociality and spatiality. This study followed the COREQ checklist.

The analysis identified two throughout plots 'person-centred culture' and 'time', and three plots which constructed how the patients participate in change through the rehabilitation process (a) dependent-'open doors'; (b) motivation from within; and (c) independence-'locked doors'.
