93 ± 2.19 MPa for silicone and bioplast groups, respectively. Bioplast group showed significantly greater shear bond strength than that of the silicone group. Maximum ARI score, assessed under ×10 magnification was 3 in both groups. A score of 3 was significantly more frequent in bioplast group. Differences were seen between the groups in terms of enamel surface characteristics under SEM evaluation. It was determined that bioplast material, which is considered to be the gold standard for the indirect bonding method, has greater shear bond strength than silicone material.
To assess the efficacy of adjuvant chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or both following the primary surgery on the progression-free survival and 5-year overall survival in patients with stage I/II uterine carcinosarcoma.

A preliminary investigation was conducted using PubMed and Embase databases to identify relevant studies published up to March, 2020. Sunitinib supplier Pooled hazard ratios (HRs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were calculated by Revman 5.3 software to analysis outcomes.

Six retrospective cohort studies were involved in the analysis, including 1516 patients in observation group, 956 patients in chemotherapy group, 750 patients in radiotherapy group, and 1082 patients in raidochemotherapy group. The results indicated that chemotherapy alone (HR=0.59, 95% CI=0.38-0.91, p < 0.05) and radiochemotherapy (HR=0.35, 95% CI 0.24-0.53, p < 0.001) were associated with improved progression-free survival in patients. Similarly, pooled results suggested chemotherapy (HR=0.49, 95% CI=0.34-0.71, p < 0.001) and radiochemotherapy (HR=0.46, 95% CI=0.29-0.72, p < 0.001) promoted the 5-year overall survival compared with observation. However, radiotherapy alone had no statistical significance in improving progression-free survival (HR=0.80, 95% CI=0.49-1.29, p=0.36) and 5-year overall survival (HR=0.65, 95% CI=0.38-1.12, p=0.12).

Chemotherapy and radiochemotherapy appeared to be prognostic beneficial to early-stage uterine carcinosarcoma.
Chemotherapy and radiochemotherapy appeared to be prognostic beneficial to early-stage uterine carcinosarcoma. The objective was to formulate and analyze a dentin adhesive incorporated with graphene oxide (GO) nanoparticle and calcium phosphate (CaP) composite. Methods comprising of scanning electron microscopy (SEM)-energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), micro-Raman spectroscopy, shear bond strength (SBS), and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy were used to characterize nanoparticle composite, dentin bond toughness, degree of conversion (DC), and adhesive-dentin interaction. Postsynthesis of GO nanoparticles, they were functionalized with CaP using standard process. The GO-CaP composite was not added to experimental adhesive (negative control group, GO-CaP-0%), and added at 2.5 and 5 wt% to yield GO-CaP-2.5% and GO-CaP 5% groups, respectively. Teeth were set to form bonded samples utilizing adhesives in three groups for SBS testing, with and without thermocycling. The homogenous diffusion of GO-CaP composite was verified in the adhesive. Resin tags having standard penetrations were observed on SEM micrographs. The EDX analysis confirmed the occurrence of calcium, phosphorus, and carbon ions in the composite containing adhesives. The SBS test revealed highest mean values for GO-CaP-5% followed by GO-CaP-2.5%. The FTIR spectra verified the presence of apatite peaks and the micro-Raman spectra showed characteristic D and G bands for GO nanoparticles. GO-CaP composite in dentin adhesive may improve its bond strength. The addition of 5 wt% resulted in a bond strength that was superior to all other groups. GO-CaP-5% group demonstrated lower DC (to control), uniform distribution of GO and CaP composite within adhesive, appropriate dentin interaction, and resin tag formation.
To present our experiences in isolated fallopian tubal torsion (IFTT) case series, which are difficult to diagnose, in light of the literature.

The data of the patients diagnosed with IFTT surgically in our tertiary hospital between 2018 and 2019 were evaluated.

Abdominal lower quadrant pain was present in all nine cases. Abdominal pain was accompanied by nausea in five of the nine cases with vomiting in four of the nine cases. Seven of the patients had pain radiating to the vagina. Only one case of IFTT was diagnosed with transvaginal ultrasonography where left tubal dilation and free fluid in the abdomen was found. Two of the nine cases were operated on with a preoperative diagnosis of IFTT. Seven cases were approached laparoscopically and two cases underwent a laparotomy. During the treatment, two of the nine cases underwent detorsion, while seven of the patients underwent a salpingectomy.

IFTT is a very rare condition. Therefore, it is difficult to diagnose as it does not come to mind at first glance. Delay of the operation reduces the chance of preserving the tube.

Studies on preferences regarding discussions on end-of-life care (EOLC), advance care planning (ACP), medical assistance in dying (MAiD), and brain donation have not yet been conducted in patients with atypical parkinsonism (AP).

The aim of this study was to know the preferences of patients with AP regarding discussions on EOLC, ACP, MAiD, and brain donation.

This cross-sectional study was conducted in patients clinically diagnosed with AP. An adapted questionnaire that assessed various potential factors that affect patients' preferences regarding EOLC and ACP was sent through postal mail to 278 patients.

A total of 90 completed questionnaires were returned. Most patients preferred to discuss at the time of diagnosis information about the disease, its natural course, treatment options, and prognosis. In contrast, they preferred that EOLC and ACP be discussed when the disease has progressed. No demographic or disease-related factors were found to be predictors of the patient's preferences. Notably, most patients (63.
