Regular and Bayesian simulation techniques with 10,000 replications of re-sampling with replacement were used to examine robustness of the study findings. We also used linear regression and logit model to identify the drivers of OOP payments and CHE, respectively. The average total cost-of-illness per patient was 124 US$, of which 68% was indirect cost. The average CHE was 4.3% of the total consumption and 3.1% of non-food expenditure among the surveyed households. The poorest quintile of the households experienced higher CHE than their richest counterpart, 5% vs. 1%. Multiple regression model showed that the risk of CHE increased among male patients with smear-negative TB and delayed enrolling in the DOTS. Findings suggested that specific groups are more vulnerable to CHE who needs to be brought under innovative safety-net schemes.
The Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBDs), Crohn's Disease (CD) and Ulcerative Colitis (UC), are gastrointestinal autoimmune disorders with many Extraintestinal Manifestations (EIMs). Previously reported incidences of EIMs in IBD patients have ranged from 10% to 50%. The large variation in occurrence of EIMs has been linked to genetic predisposition. Correlations between individual EIMs are unclear. Therefore, we aim to estimate the incidence of EIMs in a Middle Eastern cohort of patients with IBD and examine possible relationships with EIMs.
We conducted a retrospective study involving all patients included in the King Abdulaziz University IBD information system registry between 2013 and 2018. Data on demographics, disease characteristics, and EIMs were extracted and analyzed using descriptive statistics the standard Student's
-test and chi-squared test. Logistic regression analysis was used to examine associations using STATA software version 11.2 (StataCorp, TX, USA).
We reviewed the electronic medicant is recommended as part of IBD management to improve overall health outcomes.
Our results demonstrate that more than half of IBD patients have at least one EIM. Contrary to what has often been reported, we found that EIMs occur more commonly in UC than CD. A multidisciplinary assessment is recommended as part of IBD management to improve overall health outcomes. The application of special acupoints for different primary symptoms of chronic gastritis in ancient literature of acupuncture and moxibustion was analyzed and summarized. With keywords, electronic and manual retrieval of ancient literature being performed to establish a database, the association rules were performed with SPSS Modeler 18. As a result, ① among all the 2243 items included, 109 items mentioned special acupoints (excluding those only mentioned crossing acupoint). The frequency of special acupoints was 2554 (71.7%), and the special acupoints on the spleen meridian, the stomach meridian, the conception vessel were frequently used. The frequency of five-shu point was highest, followed by front-mu points. ② The special acupoints for four main primary symptoms of chronic gastritis, "stomachache" "vomiting and regurgitation" "belching and acid regurgitation" and "epigastric fullness", included Zusanli (ST 36), Neiguan (PC 6), Zhongwan (CV 12), Gongsun (SP 4), Taibai (SP 3). In addition, the back-shu points were also selected to treat the primary symptoms other than "epigastric fullness". Zhangmen (LR 13) was added to treat "belching and acid regurgitation". The combination of Neiguan (PC 6) and Gongsun (SP 4) showed the strongest correlation; due to different primary symptoms, the combination had different emphasis.
To systematically review the therapeutic effect of acupuncture-moxibustion therapies on post-stroke constipation based on the network Meta-analysis.
The randomized controlled trials of acupuncture and moxibustion for post-stroke constipation were retrieved from the databases, starting from the time of establishment through to June, 2019, i.e. the PubMed, EMbase, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, SinoMed, CNKI, Wanfang and VIP. The literature was selected according to inclusion and exclusion criteria, the quality of literature was evaluated by bias risk assessment tool of Cochrane Review Manual 5.3 and the data was statistically analyzed by softwares of Stata 13.1 and R Language.
A total of 28 trails were included, involving 9 intervention methods. The therapeutic effect was arranged from high to the low according to the surface under cumulative ranking area (SUCRA), i.e. acupuncture combined with medication (0.86), warm needling (0.83), electroacupuncture combined with medication (0.68), electroacupuncture (0.68), moxibustion (0.50), auricular point sticking (0.44), acupuncture (0.31), Chinese herbal medicine (0.12) and western medication (0.04).
Acupuncture- moxibustion therapies have superiority on treating post-stroke constipation, acupuncture combined with medication has the most optimum therapeutic effect and the therapeutic effect of acupuncture-moxibustion combined with medication is superior to the single treatment of medication.

This joint is composed of the inner magnet joint and the outer joint protective sleeve. The new conductive adhesive is used to simplify the manufacturing process. Its advantages include connection with acupuncture needle by magnetic force, being convenient to store when idle and easy to switch to the working state, and quick disconnection in case of emergency. This joint is connected safely and firmly with acupuncture needle by magnetic force, which shortens the operation time, improves the working efficiency, and effectively solves the problems existing in the crocodile clip connector.Based on the story of Chinese idiom, paodingjieniu (a magical and skilled form of craftsmanship) as the breakthrough point, this paper discusses the both paoding (cook) and the experienced acupuncture practitioner have the same high skills and explores the potential relationship between mind-regulation in treatment with acupuncture and flow theory. It is believed that the skills of ancient acupuncture practitioner in mind-regulation with acupuncture is not only a kind of "Tao" mode, but also a state of "flow". By the discussion on mind-regulation and flow theory, modern people may have more clear recognition on the mind regulation in treatment with acupuncture so as to better determine the therapeutic methods of acupuncture for mind-regulation.Professor YANG Wen-hui 's clinical experience of treating alopecia areata with combination of acupuncture and Chinese herbs based on yingwei theory was summarized. Professor YANG divides alopecia areata into yingqi disease and wei qi disease. Alopecia areata belonging to weiqi disease locates on the skin and is related to the lung and kidney, and belonging to yingqi disease locates in the meridians and is related to the heart, spleen and stomach. Acupuncture is chosen when the disease locates in the skin and meridians. If both viscera and meridians suffered, acupuncture and Chinese herbs should be combined. As for the acupuncture, professor YANG used the method of harmonizing yingwei needling to treat alopecia areata, which includes regulating the origin of yingwei, regulating the deficiency and excess of yingwei and regulating the operation of local yingwei. As for the Chinese herbs, weiqi disease can be washed out by Chinese herbs of relieving exterior wind and activating meridians and collaterals. The ying qi disease can be washed out by Chinese herbs in mild condition, and long course of disease can be given Guizhi decoction as the base, add or subtract according to syndrome. The theory of "tian-yin-yang" of Zhuang medicine was explored and the academic achievements and experience of professor HUANG Jin-ming were summarized to explain the theory and clinical characteristics of tian-yin-yang acupuncture, an acupuncture school of Huang 's Zhuang medicine of Guangxi. This acupuncture method is guided by the theory of "three-qi synchronization" and "tian-yin-yang" of Zhuang medicine, based on the theory of "three channels and two paths", with regulating qi as the method and regulating spirit as the basis. After the patient is calmed and resting, the micro needle shallow needling technique is adopted, mainly at the umbilical ring point, so as to achieve the purpose of regulating the mind and treating the root cause.
To explore the effect of acupuncture on oxidative stress and apoptosis-related proteins of liver in obese mice induced by high-fat diet.
A total of 45 male C57BL/6 mice were randomized into a control group (10 mice) and a model established group (35 mice). Mice in the model established group were fed with high-fat diet for 16 weeks to establish the obesity model. After model established, 30 mice were randomized into a model group, a non-acupoint group and an acupoint group, 10 mice in each one. Acupuncture was applied at "Guanyuan" (CV 4), " Zusanli" (ST 36), "Yishu" (EX-B 3) in the acupoint group and the points of 0.5 cm and 1 cm to the base of tail in the non-acupoint group, 15 min each time, once a day for 8 weeks. GW0742 concentration Mice in the control group were fed with normal diet, while mice in the other 3 groups were fed with high-fat diet continuously for 8 weeks. The body weight was measured at 0, 4th, 8th, 12th, 16th, 20th, 24th week in each group respectively. After 24-week intervention, the weight of white adity of liver SOD and the expression of liver Bcl-2 were decreased in the model group after intervention (
<0.05). Compared with the model group and the non-acupoint group, the weight of white adipose tissue and liver, the levels of serum ALT and AST, the level of liver MDA, the expression of liver Bax were decreased (
<0.05); the activity of liver SOD and the expression of liver Bcl-2 were increased in the acupoint group after intervention (
<0.05).

To explore the mechanism of moxibustion on the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in the perspective of programmed cell death-1 and its ligand 1 (PD-1/PD-L1).
A total of 30 Japanese big ear white rabbits were randomly divided into a control group, a model group and a moxibustion group, 10 rabbits in each one. In the model group and the moxibustion group, RA model was prepared by the injection of Freund's complete adjuvant (FCA) into the hind knee joint cavities of each rabbit. In the control group, 0.9% sodium chloride solution of the same dose was injected. On the 8th day of experiment, in the moxibustion group, moxibustion was applied to "Shenshu" (BL 23) and "Zusanli" (ST 36), 5 cones at each acupoint, on the bilateral sides alternatively, once a day, 6 treatments as one course, with an interval of 1 days between the treatment courses. Totally, 3 courses of treatment were required. On the 1st, 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th days of experiment, successively, the circumference of the bilateral knee joints was measured with the tape.
