Whether patients with systemic autoimmune diseases or vasculitides, are at increased risk for serious complications associated with COVID-19, is not established yet. Oxaliplatin concentration Computed tomography (CT) has been employed as a diagnostic tool in the evaluation of patients with clinical suspicion of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-Cov-2) infection with a reported sensitivity of higher than reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test. Multifocal bilateral ground-glass opacities (GGOs) with peripheral and posterior distribution and subsequent superimposition of consolidations are considered the main imaging features of the disease in chest CT. Comparing the imaging findings with prior studies (if available) for any interval change is the most helpful approach. Otherwise, the diagnosis of COVID-19 in such patients must be cautiously made according to the clinical context and laboratory results, considering a very high clinical index of suspicion on imaging.

During the first 5days of treatment, and then once a week, a Kv CBCT was performed, compared with the simulation CT and adjusted the displacements, to determine the inter-fraction errors. Immediately after radiation therapy, another CBCT was performed (for intra-fraction errors). With these data, the X, R position control charts have been made. The patients, not maintained the deviations within the charts control limits, were called "anomalies". Then, we compared the deviations and margins calculated with the van Herk expression for all patients and for those without anomalies.

The margins determined show appreciable differences if there were calculated for the total set of patients or for the set of them without anomalies in the control charts. For the overall set of patients, the lateral, longitudinal, and vertical margins were 0.45cm, 0.52cm, 0.56cm, while for the set of patients without anomalies were 0.29cm, 0.35cm, and 0.38cm.

The use of control charts allows tracking geometric deviations both inter and intra-fraction, variability real-time control and to detect situations in which it can change for non-random reasons, and require immediate investigation. SARS-CoV2 outbreak has challenged NHS of many countries. Generalized restriction of movement, together with unprecedented pressure on Health System, disrupted routine care for non-COVID-19 patients. Telemedicine has been promoted to reduce the risk of infections and to offer medical assistance to the restricted population. This paper is aimed to evaluate the impact of tele-consulting technology in a single bariatric center.

Our outpatient clinic reorganized the service from on-site to long-distance video consultations. All patients received a satisfaction questionnaire. The main goals were to evaluate patient compliance and to assess patient satisfaction.

Of the 33 booked patients who were offered a teleconsultation, 19 (57.6%) participated in the video-call. No significant differences were found between participants and non-participants in terms of age and gender ratio. Urban area residents were 57.9% of the participants versus 42.8% of the non-participants group. Of the participants, 52.6% completed tof basic computer skills and the lack of confidence with video-call systems may be patient-specific barriers for the implementation of telemedicine. In this context, telemedicine implementation can run up against various patient-related barriers, and several challenges remain for e-health to be integrated into outpatient practice.Transient elastography (TE) is a non-invasive technology that demonstrates promise in assessing liver steatosis and fibrosis without the risks of traditional percutaneous liver biopsy. Many studies have examined its reliability in respect to liver biopsy, but fewer have examined using TE in obese and bariatric surgery patients. With evidence showing that bariatric surgery can lead to improvement of liver steatosis and fibrosis, TE has the potential to provide a simple avenue of hepatic assessment in patients before and after procedures. This review article investigates what is known about the reliability of TE and its implementation in obese and bariatric surgery patients.
