The paper presents a case of a 26-year-old man in whom bone defect was augmented with material derived from dentin blocks and partially demineralized dentin processed in the BonMaker device after extraction of the root of tooth 11. A systematic review of literature was conducted analyzing articles published between 1975 and 2020. From 80 articles, 25 were selected for this study.

The presented case and the systematic review of literature indicate that tooth-derived bone graft material prepared from extraction can effectively restore alveolar bone defect. The results we get so far are very satisfying. Further studies should be performed to confirm the osteogenic effects and safety use of this tooth based graft material.

The authors present the case of a 57-year-old patient who received surgery for critical degenerative lumbal spinal stenosis on the L4-L5 level. The diagnosis was based on strong right sciatica and neurogenic claudication. A bilateral laminotomy from the right and a microdiscectomy were performed. During surgery, no bleeding from the intervertebral space was observed and blood pressure was low but stable from the beginning. After surgery, the patient was in good general and neurological condition, without preoperative right-sided sciatica. Within a few hours after the operation, the circulatory and respiratory systems were stable with normal saturation and the patient did not report shortness of breath. Paleness of the skin and mucous membranes was observed. Follow-up morphology tests performed at 6 and 10.5 hours after surgery showed a decrease in the level of erythrocytes. The patient had palpablea vessel. In patients who are stable hemodynamically, performing an angio-CT function of the abdominal cavity is suggested and the damaged artery should be treated with a covered stent.Cerebral venous infarction also known as cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT) is a rare disease. It is more common in young adults, but three times more common in women than in men. The clinical picture of CVT may vary and non-specific manifestations often delay correct diagnosis. Headaches of various location, nature and severity occur in 90% of cases. Radiology findings in the central nervous system include bilateral cerebral involvement and foci location that does not correspond to arterial supply. More than 100 factors that may predispose to CVT have been identified. The aetiology of CVT remains unknown in about 20% of patients.
In this paper we present a case of 35-year-old woman at 27 weeks of gestation, who was admitted to the hospital after the first epileptic seizure in her life. The patient's history revealed the headaches that had lasted for about 3 months prior. The patient had no family history of hypercoagulability. The patient was diagnosed with CVT - a hemorrhagic lesion in the left hemisphere of the brain as a result of dural sinus thrombosis.
