The Band Toto Asia
Toto was expanding its production facilities abroad and doing business in France, Germany, Indonesia, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and the People's Republic of China. North America was seen as a market that would grow for Washlet toilets and bidet seats, in contrast to its "base" markets in Japan and China.
Dhaniram Toto documented Toto words to ensure that the future generation could be able to read the words. However, many of the words were being replaced by foreign words, such as dui, which is Bengali for verandah.
Origins
The early history of Toto, which began in 1917, was a reflection of Japan's economic growth. In the beginning of its existence, the company manufactured products to meet the demands of modern and contemporary urban housing. To accomplish this, it employed the first tunnel kiln in the nation that produced ceramics in a continuous flow. It also pioneered the use of automation to control production, allowing for greater efficiency and consistency.
In the late 1980s, the company began expanding overseas in order to profit from sales and new markets. It created the Cera Trading Company, importing and marketing other products of manufacturers to complement its own range of sanitary earthenware and plumbing fittings. This strategy boosted sales and expanded the firm's market share.
In the 1990s, Toto had shifted its emphasis to research and development of household appliances that use water. It also redesigned its distribution system to better serve its customers and boost profits. The company embraced a just-in time approach to supply chain management and used the same method in its sales program. This resulted in a greater degree of customer satisfaction.
Toto has continued to innovate in the toilet technology. Its most recent toilet, for instance it has a powerful tornado flush that is more eco friendly than conventional toilets. The company makes use of recycled water in its manufacturing process, and also has a green purchasing policy. Toto also produces bathtubs, faucets, and hand dryers that have higher energy efficiency than conventional models.
The first museum of the company was opened in the year 2015 It has exhibits on Toto's most iconic products and their development and its group companies (all related to ceramics), historical background of plumbing and products such as bath units, and in a separate gallery, Toto products sold around the world. The museum has the bathroom equipped with a WASHLET and other toilet innovations.
Before forming Toto the members of the group did session work for a variety of musicians. Keyboardist David Paich, drummer Jeff Porcaro, and guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather all performed on the album Silk Degrees by Boz Scaggs. They also played on records by Steely Don, Seals and Crofts and Sonny and Cher.
Discography
It is common for a group with a name like Asia to be a prog rock group, but it is actually a fairly straight forward rock outfit. The group began as a quartet, and they recorded two albums - 1979's self-titled debut, and 1980's Armed to the Teeth. However, even though the group have a wide range of musical backgrounds, their biggest success came in 1982 with Toto IV.
The album was a major blockbuster, but not without its share of issues. Record companies put the band on place with the directive "give us a hit record or we'll drop you" and the pressure was on to meet the deadline. Luckily for Toto, they did, with the aid of the smash single "Africa."
Toto's musical mastery is the result of their previous experiences. Before forming the group, the members were session musicians for artists such as Boz Scaggs. Steely Dan and Seals and Crofts. Their distinctive sound has become the norm for '80s pop, and has influenced many modern artists.
The album starts out hard with songs such as Running Out of Time or Unknown Soldier that show the band's ability to write great AOR tunes that slowly get into your head. However, the album also includes some slower, more jazzy tracks such as The Little Things and Chinatown. The album concludes with Great Expectations. This song is a mix of folk and the distorted AOR which could sound completely wrong but actually works very well.
After Toto IV The band's fortunes turned towards the negative. David Hungate left the band to focus on his solo career. The band had a variety of drummers. In 1984, Bobby Kimball was fired from the group in the wake of drug charges and the band continued as a trio, which included Michael Porcaro and Steve Lukather.
Despite the chaos, Toto forged ahead and released Isolation, which was not as successful as IV. The band was able to release an album that was chart-topping, Kingdom of Desire, in 1992. This album marked the end of the original Toto lineup and was also the first album to feature the new singer, Simon Phillips.
Tours

The band's repertoire is huge and their catalog has accumulated over a billion streams on streaming services worldwide. 먹튀검증 has influenced multiple generations of fans.
Steve Lukather and Joe Williams have developed a deep, colorful friendship that thrives professionally on a worldwide basis. In 2018, the duo celebrated 40 Tours Around the Sun with a wildly successful global tour. The album that bears the same name reached #5 on Billboard 200. The band's latest tour includes their greatest hits rare live deep-cuts and some songs that come from Lukather's and Williams catalogs.

Line-up
Turn Back, the band's third studio album, was a return to a classic sextet structure and a more consistent, stronger effort that had a more grittier edge. The more edgy sound of the album was a reflection of the maturation of the group and included drummer Bobby Kimball's improved virtuosity on drums, and a more confident, mature vocal delivery from singer Joseph Williams. Keyboardist David Paich's work also was more refined, sharper and less cloying than previously recorded performances.
After touring to promote the album, the band recorded a live performance in Amsterdam that was released as a two-CD set titled Falling In Between Live on Eagle Records. The group released their new studio album a few months later and embarked on a world tour to promote it. In this time keyboardist Greg Phillinganes filled in for Paich and bassist David Hungate left the group to spend more time with his family.
In 1998, Paich and Lukather started searching through old demos and tapes in search of an album that would feature songs that had never been recorded before. The album was released as a double album titled Then and Now in 2001. It was the band's first album that did not contain a single song titled "A". The album also contained a previously unreleased track titled "Kari-Anne".
By 2003, Toto had begun to decline in popularity. The group's fourth record, Old Is New was an uncommercial success and vocalist Williams was suffering from laryngitis, which affected his singing abilities. In addition, Hungate returned to Nashville and drummer Leland Sklar was replaced by Shem von Schroeck.
Downes, Wetton Palmer and Howe, the founding members of Asia The original Asia members met in England early in 2006 to discuss the possibility that the group could be revived. This lineup, minus Howe (who was working with Yes at the time) was later referred to as Toto XIV and toured extensively.
In 2010, the band reunited for another reunion tour with a slightly different line-up, including guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather, drummer John Pierce, bassist Shannon Forrest, and multi-instrumentalists Warren Ham and Dominique Taplin. The band also featured the appearance of singer Michael McDonald, and a backing singer named Mabvuto Carpenter.
