A midi bed with storage (also called cabin beds) offers the best of both worlds, offering kids a comfy sleeping area with plenty of space to play and keep toys. Make a den, or make it a car park for their favourite teddies, with shelves which they can personalize and use in the way they want.

Size

Midi beds that have storage are typically lower than high sleepers and have an easier staircase or ladder, this makes them ideal for smaller rooms. They are made up of only a single UK mattress and add a variety of useful pieces underneath. From a smart desk that slides out to an open cabinet ready to hold totes to elegant drawer storage with smooth no-wobble operation.

Our midi cabin beds come in a variety of colors so you can choose the one that best suits your bedroom for your child. Some take it even further than this and include an array of custom-designed storage units. The desk can be moved between the two units on wheels. There are also four drawers for storage, and two cupboards that have doors. The Eli F takes it to the next level by having doors that match the color of the chosen head and foot board.

The Luna low-line loft bed, also known as a Midi-storage bed is small, and comes with everything you need. A ladder that is able to be rotated, a desk on wheels that slides into and out and a three drawer cabinet and chest are all included. You can also get it in a reverse configuration like the ladder on the left. You can ask for this in the store or indicate this request at the checkout.

Style

Depending on the style of the midsleeper you choose depending on the design, you might be able to create clever storage solutions to your stairs. The Trasman Girona is a good example. Many of our customers prefer a low-line loft bed with stairs that can be turned. Some midi loft bunk beds that have storage have the desk built in (as shown above) however, other models, such as our Luna Midi-Bunk, have a ladder on the right side so that the table can be put on the left. It is important to note that the majority of Midi loft beds with desks require the use of a standard UK single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with wooden slatted bases. This is not included in the cost of the bed, so we recommend taking a look at our fantastic mattress deals to find a price that is within your budget!

They are also typically fitted with a variety of clever storage elements like a desk, drawers and cupboards for toys, books and other things. Mattress

Most midi beds are fitted with standard UK single mattresses and the top bunk is equipped with a safety rail to give you security. Some models come with an amazing pull-out trundle drawer for sleepovers or more storage space below the bed. midsleeper cabin can be either open or equipped with doors (please refer to the product details for more details).

Many midi cabins include a desk that can be moved from one level to the next or chests. This allows the children to have their own space to keep all of their belongings. This also means that they don't have to make use of floor space with bulky shelving or wardrobes.

Some models have gone a step beyond with cabinets that are flush mounted or even a part of the headboard or footboard. This is ideal for storing toys and books.

For example the Luna low line loft midi sleeper is compact and comes with everything you need in one piece. The stairs that are low-level 'turned are included as well as an office that can be moved into and out of the way on wheels, a three drawer chest and an open-air cabinet included.
