[Retracted] microRNA‑206 overexpression inhibits cellular spreading and also breach regarding estrogen receptor α‑positive ovarian cancer tissue.
Furthermore, SBP and DBP had no impact on the disturbance of consciousness, epilepsy, intracranial hemorrhage, and mental disorders. However, SBP and DBP were positively correlated with ICP at admission. SBP > 129.5 mmHg and/or DBP > 77.5 mmHg suggested the presence of intracranial hypertension (IH). Based on current results, SBP was not correlated with mRS at 6 months of follow-up. However, DBP was found to be positively correlated with mRS at 6 months of follow-up. DBP in CVT patients with good prognosis was significantly lower than in those with poor prognosis. DBP > 79.5 mmHg was identified as a cutoff value to predict a poor clinical outcome. A higher mRS and a higher rate of poor clinical outcome were found in CVT patients with SBP > 146 mmHg or DBP > 79.5 mmHg compared to those with SBP ≤ 146 mmHg or DBP ≤ 79.5 mmHg. Conclusion SBP > 129.5 mmHg and DBP > 77.5 mmHg suggested the presence of IH in CVT patients. DBP > 79.5 mmHg predicted a poor clinical outcome.Cerebral small vessel disease (SVD) refers to a heterogeneous group of pathological processes that result from damage to the small penetrating vessels in the brain. Spatial navigation, one of the most fundamental behaviors, has lately attracted considerable clinical interest. This study aimed to determine whether spatial navigation performance is impaired in elderly SVD patients. In total, 18 elderly patients with severe SVD, 40 elderly patients with non-severe SVD, and 41 age-matched healthy volunteers were classified according to the Fazekas scale. Spatial navigation was evaluated by Amunet (a computer-based analogy of Morris water maze software), and a mini-mental scale evaluation (MMSE), animal category verbal fluency test (VFT), clock drawing test (CDT), and trail making test (TMT) -B were also applied. Compared to healthy controls, severe SVD, rather than non-severe SVD patients, exhibited significantly worse performance on "allocentric + egocentric" (41.74 ± 29.10 vs. 31.50 ± 16.47 vs. Sodium Pyruvate mouse 29.21 ± 19.03; p = 0.031). Furthermore, the different abilities of spatial navigation among groups reached a statistical level on allocentric subtests (46.93 ± 31.27 vs. 43.69 ± 23.95 vs. 28.56 ± 16.38; p = 0.003), but not on egocentric subtest (56.16 ± 39.85 vs. 56.00 ± 28.81 vs. 43.06 ± 25.07; p = 0.105). The linear regression analysis revealed that allocentric navigation deficit was significantly correlated with TMT-B (p = 0.000, standardized β = 0.342) and VFT (p = 0.016, standardized β = -0.873) performance in elderly SVD patients. These results elucidated that spatial navigation ability could be a manifestation of cognitive deficits in elderly patients with SVD.[This corrects the article DOI 10.3389/fpsyg.2021.640341.].Scandinavian social democracy is increasingly upheld as an alternative that could reform capitalism. The Nordic Model produces income equality, low-conflict politics, and happy people. When half of young Americans express that they would prefer "socialism," they generally mean to live in a society that provides for its citizens as the Nordics do. Such aspirations are complicated by how social democracy can be viewed as a secularized form of Lutheranism, the Protestant creed that the Nordic region embraced in the 16th century. Lutheran norms and values carried into the modern era and made possible social democracy's two distinguishing features fascist corporatism and socialist redistribution. A strong state facilitates statist individualism, which empowers individuals vis-à-vis employers, parents, and spouses. The outcome could be cross-culturally salient, as it brings people closer to our species' fission-fusion baseline. Yet in the modern environment, only Nordics seem to have a cultural imaginary that makes compelling the politics that drive such high levels of both productivity and egalitarianism. The region's storytelling reflects this Lutheran past and is used to negotiate modern adaptations. A better understanding of social democracy could help prevent that demands for "socialism" motivate a turn to actual socialism. The challenges imposed by the global development agenda imply reflecting on the role and contribution of political parties to development processes in the online environment. Social networks have been characterised as a part of the strategies of political campaigns, as it allows political leaders to establish bidirectional communication with citizens. In this context, the present study aims to empirically explore the leading Spanish political formations' publications from a social marketing perspective. In this way, it will be possible to verify how issues related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are addressed. On the one hand, this requires elaborating the communication profiles of the main political parties presented to the Spanish General Elections from 2015 to 2019. On the other hand, to analyse whether social themes better discriminate or distinguish one political party from another. For this purpose, a methodology based on text mining, content analysis from a quantitative and qualitative approach, and simple correspondence analysis has been used. Finally, it should be noted that the results of this research show that there are differences between political parties according to the social issues published, with a divergence between the social issues that provoke a better reaction from the public and those most published on Facebook.Psychology of working theory (PWT) and psychology of working framework (PWF) offered a psychological view of decent work. The present study examined the associations among personality traits, decent work and Occupational Fatigue Exhaustion Recovery Scale (OFER). Two hundred and thirty four participants filled out the Big Five Questionnaire, the Italian version of the Decent Work Scale, and the Italian version of the OFER Scale. Hierarchical regressions showed that decent work explained incremental variance beyond personality traits with respect to OFER both considering total score and its three dimensions (chronic fatigue, acute fatigue, persistent fatigue). The present study underlined the value of decent work in relation to occupational fatigue beyond the contributions of personality, in particular in relation to the dimensions of Adequate compensation and Free time and rest for less occupational fatigue (both as total and as dimensions). This study aimed to examine the impact of implementing an innovative Social-Emotional Skills Training Program in physical education classes at youth schools. This study used two surveys the Schutte Self-Report Inventory (otherwise known as the Emotional Intelligence Scale) and the Social Skills Rating System (student form). The analysis included 104 youth school students (Mage = 16.91; SD = 1.12), who were randomly selected from two youth schools in the Kaunas region. Four classes were randomly assigned into an experimental (n = 49) and a control (n = 55) group. The experimental group participated in the Social-Emotional Skills Training Program. The intervention was targeted at the following social-emotional skills empathy, cooperation, assertion, self-control, optimism, ability to understand and analyze emotions, appraisal, and utilization of emotions. The modified physical education classes were conducted by the physical education teacher, who was instructed by the researcher. Repeated measures multivariate ANOVA was used to analyze the effects of the Social-Emotional Skills Training Program. During the experiment, the applied training procedures had a statistically significant effect on the social-emotional skills of the experimental group of youth school students. Thus, the findings demonstrate that this program (for enhancing social-emotional skills of youth school students) positively impacted the social-emotional skills of the students. These results highlight the need to consider social-emotional skills training factors when interpreting the level of social-emotional skills among youth school students.Drawing upon the Triadic Reciprocity Framework, this longitudinal qualitative multiple-case study examined how three Hong Kong secondary English as a second language (ESL) teachers exercised their teacher agency to take control of their teaching and professional development. More specifically, the study aimed at exploring how teachers' intentions and actions for the establishment of their professional identity were afforded and constrained by their workplaces. Findings reveal that these ESL teachers exercised different degrees of proactive, reactive, and passive agency. The four properties of human agency, i.e., intentionality, forethought, self-reactiveness, and self-reflectiveness, influenced the teachers' proactive, reactive, and passive agency when they responded to personal, behavioral, and environmental determinants. The findings shed light on a three-layered Triadic Reciprocity framework on teacher agency and contributes to a systematic and comprehensive discussion about the various internal and external factors that might exert influences on agency of early career teachers. This study offers pedagogical implications for school teachers, school leaders, and policy makers in Hong Kong and beyond. We examined the relation between 4- to 12-month-old infants' (N = 107) motor development and visual preference for handled or non-handled objects, using Lookit (lookit.mit.edu) as an online tool for data collection. Infants viewed eight pairs of objects, and their looking was recorded using their own webcam. Each pair contained one item with an easily graspable "handle-like" region and one without. Infants' duration of looking at each item was coded from the recordings, allowing us to evaluate their preference for the handled item. In addition, parents reported on their infants' motor behavior in the previous week. Overall, infants looked longer to handled items than non-handled items. Additionally, by examining the duration of infants' individual looks, we show that differences in infants' interest in the handled items varied both by infants' motor level and across the course of the 8-s trials. These findings confirm infant visual preferences can be successfully measured using Lookit and that motor development is related to infants' visual preferences for items with a graspable, handle-like region. The relative roles of age and motor development are discussed. Background Promoting work engagement is of interest to organizations across sectors due to the associated positive outcomes. This interest warrants research on the evidence of work engagement interventions. Intervention research increasingly advocates a bottom-up approach, highlighting the role of employees themselves. These workplace interventions often encourage employees to identify, develop, and make use of workplace resources. The aim of this systematic review and meta-analysis is to investigate the effectiveness and potential underlying mechanisms of these bottom-up, resource-developing interventions. Method Systematic searches were conducted in the online databases Web of Science, Academic Search Complete, Business Source Ultimate, PsycInfo, PsycArticles, SCOPUS, and Google Scholar. Publication year range was 2000-2020. Eligibility criteria were defined using PICOS. To be eligible for the systematic review, the intervention study identified had to aim at promoting working individuals' work engagement by developing workplace resources from bottom-up.
