Nonetheless, increasing dietary Ca to 5·8 g/kg enhanced P retention, but only in phytase-supplemented diets. Ileal IP6 degradation increased with phytase (P less then 0·001) but decreased with increasing dietary Ca content (P = 0·014). Proportion of IP esters in total IP (∑IP) indicated that IP6/∑IP was increased while IP4/∑IP and IP3/∑IP were reduced with increasing dietary Ca content and also with a greater impact in phytase-supplemented diets (Pinteraction = 0·025, 0·018 and 0·009, respectively). In all GIT segments, P solubility was increased with phytase (P less then 0·001) and tended to be reduced with dietary Ca content (P less then 0·096). Measurements in GIT segments showed that increasing dietary Ca content reduced apparent P digestibility via reducing IP degradation and enhancing P precipitation, with a greater impact in phytase-supplemented diets due to reduced IP degradation.Considering the influence of body's growth and development on thyroid volume (TVOL), whether five existed corrected methods could be applied to correct TVOL remains unclear, in terms of Chinese children's increased growth and development trends. This study aimed to compare the applicability of five correction methods for TVOL Body Surface Area corrected Volume (BSAV), Body Mass Indicator corrected Volume (BMIV), Weight and Height corrected Volume Indicator (WHVI), Height corrected Volume Indicator 1 (HVI1) and Height corrected Volume Indicator 2 (HVI2); to establish the reference values for correction methods. The data of Iodine Nutrition and Thyroid Function Survey was used to analyse the differences in TVOL between normal and abnormal thyroid function children. Data of National Iodine Deficiency Disorders Survey were used to compare five correction methods and to establish their reference values. The median urinary iodine concentration of children surveyed were 256.1μg/L in 2009 and 192.6μg/L in 2019, respectively. No significant difference was found in TVOL and thyroid goitre rate between children with normal and abnormal thyroid function. In the determination of goitre, HVI1, HVI2, BSAV and BMIV all showed high agreement with TVOL, while the area under the ROC curve (AUC) of WHVI was relatively low for children aged 8(AUC=0.8993) and 9(AUC=0.8866). Most differences of TVOL between light and heavy weight, short and tall height children can be eliminated by BSAV correction. BSAV was the best method of TVOL correction in this research. Reference values were established for corrected thyroid volumes in Chinese children aged 8-10 years by sex.This systematic review aimed to provide a synthesis of the evidence relating to how the provision of Vitamin D supplements influences oral health status. An electronic database search was performed across six databases using a standardised search strategy. The PICO framework was used to define the review question. The screening and selection followed PRISMA process. The quality of reporting was assessed using CONSORT guidelines, and the bias was assessed using the revised Cochrane tool RoB2. A total of 1812 studies were retrieved. 1427 studies were excluded due to unmet inclusion criteria. Full texts of 75 potential studies were retrieved and ultimately six studies met the inclusion criteria. The present study systematically reviewed the effect of energy and or protein supplements or food fortification on anthropometry and muscle strength of COPD patients. We searched MEDLINE (PubMed), EMBASE, Cochrane Library, and Scopus for all published randomized clinical trials (RCTs) without language restriction up to May 2021. Three reviewers performed study selection and data extraction independently. We judged the risk of bias by RoB 2 and the certainty of evidence by the GRADE approach. We included thirty-two randomized controlled trials and compiled 31 of them (1,414 participants) in the random-effects model meta-analyses. Interventions were energy and/or protein oral nutritional supplements or food fortification added to the diet for at least one week. Pooled analysis revealed that nutritional interventions increased body weight (MD=1.44 kg, 95%CI 0.81 to 2.08, I2=73%), lean body mass (SMD=0.37; 95%CI 0.15 to 0.59, I2=46%), midarm muscle circumference (MD= 0.29 mm2, 95% CI 0.02 to 0.57, I2=0%), triceps skinfold (MD= 1.09 mm, 95% CI 0.01 to 2.16, I2=0%), and handgrip strength (SMD= 0.39, 95% CI 0.07 to 0.71, I2=62%) compared to control diets. This study aims to investigate the effect of social comparison direction on task performance when people coact online. A total of 40 individuals were recruited to participate in a 2 (coaction type online and face to face) × 3 (social comparison direction upward, downward and no comparison) × 2 (phase pre-comparison and post-comparison) within-subject experiment. The participants performed visual search tasks while their response time and search accuracy rates were measured. Results showed that the participants were reported to perform faster when they coacted online than face to face. The upward comparison led to a stronger social facilitation effect than the downward and no comparison directions, either in online or face-to-face coaction. However, as much of the discourse uses a lay understanding of role, or merely hints at theory, a significant body of theoretical literature is underutilised. We reasoned that a more rigorous application of role theory might provide a conceptually clearer account of the GP-supervisor's job. To this end, we describe the use of organisational role theory and job analysis to identify and define the roles of the Australian GP-supervisor. Our search of the academic literature identified 64 role titles, which we condensed to an initial iteration of core roles, using inclusion and exclusion criteria. We analysed GP training organisations' documents to map embedded supervisory tasks against our list of roles to verify their presence, review our role titles and definitions, and look for additional roles that we may have missed. We used subject matter experts iteratively, to authenticate a final list of ten roles and their accompanying definitions, which can be used to support Australian GP-supervisors to perform effectively. We encourage those who support GP-supervisors in other countries and those who educate other health professionals in primary care settings to review the roles to judge whether they are transferable to their contexts.Objectives.
