The change in L1 inclination (0.97 ± 0.92°) and L1 AP position (0.31 ± 0.63 mm) did not show a statistically significant difference between the two groups, but a statistically significant difference was found in the U1 retroclination (5.23 ± 1.92°) and U1 distal movement (4.05 ± 1.4 mm) [P ˂ 0.001] and [P ˂ 0.05] respectively in favor of the intervention group.
Mini-implants in conjunction with class II elastics had no skeletal effect, mainly dentoalveolar and it did not prevent the proclination of lower incisors. There was more distal movement in the upper incisors in the skeletal anchorage group which helped in enhancing the camouflaging of class II malocclusion.

In recent forensic studies, little focus has been placed on determining intra-bone variability within a single skeletal element. When dealing with aged human bones, complete skeletal remains are rarely present. In cases in which only the torso is available, studies have shown that ribs are one of the most appropriate samples, but intra-bone variability has not yet been studied. A higher degree of remodeling was found to contribute to higher DNA yield in the parts of the skeletal element where the most strain is concentrated. This study explores intra-bone variability in proximal, middle, and distal parts of the first human rib by determining the quantity and quality of DNA using the PowerQuant System (Promega) and autosomal STR typing success using the PowerPlex ESI 17 Fast System (Promega). Thirty first ribs from a single Second World War mass grave were sampled. No variation in DNA degradation was observed across the individual rib. The highest quantity of DNA was measured in the proximal part of the first rib, and in all ribs except three, full or almost full genetic profiles were obtained. Thus, when only the torso is present in archaeological or medico-legal cases, first ribs are recommended to be collected if possible, and the proximal or vertebral ends should be sampled for genetic analysis.Trust and religiosity have been individually linked to better health outcomes, but little existing research examines how they may combine to shape health. Drawing on data from the 6th and most recent wave of the World Values Survey, we examine the relationship between particularized and generalized social trust, two dimensions of religiosity (religious attendance and one's belief in the importance of God), and self-rated health across 27 countries. Findings from multilevel models suggest that trust tends to be higher in more religiously pluralistic national contexts, while religiosity in these contexts helps individuals maintain good health. In particular, a higher importance of God (but not religious attendance) can offset the negative health effects of holding low trust in strangers and non-family members (generalized trust), but only in highly pluralistic national contexts. We conclude by offering future research directives that may shed light on the cultural complexities of the various national contexts and their religious compositions.This study offers an exploratory review of the experience of stress and burnout syndrome among Catholic priests. Following Arksey and O'Malley's (Int J Soc Res Methodol 8(1)19-32, 2005, https//doi.org/10.1080/1364557032000119616 ) protocol, a scoping study was conducted. Given the scarcity of studies found on the subject, a broad selection criterion was used, which included quantitative, qualitative and mixed studies, literature reviews and comparative studies with other professions. The results reveal various risk factors work overload among younger generations of priests, a sociocultural context that distrusts the clergy, neurotic, introverted, perfectionist and narcissistic personality styles, avoidant and complacent coping styles, living alone, not having sufficient support (especially from the Church authorities), excessive demands and lack of boundaries related to the priestly role and submissive obedience styles, among others. However, the studies reviewed also identified important protection factors promoting optimism, an approach-based coping style and a collaborative way of resolving conflicts, frequent physical exercise, eating a balanced diet, finding time to rest, strengthening personal identity, social support (from parishioners, collaborators, colleagues, superiors) and leading an active spiritual life. Stress and burnout are associated with certain pathologies linked to smoking, alcoholism, obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, anxiety and depression. Strengthening protective factors and minimizing the impact of risk factors would do much to improve the clergy's occupational health.Cutaneous leishmaniasis (CL) is one of the important zoonotic diseases in Iran, particularly in Fars Province, southern Iran. The purpose of this descriptive cross-sectional study was to investigate the molecular identification and geographical distribution of anthroponotic and zoonotic CL in southern Iran, during 2018-2019. Overall, 161 patients with CL referred to the Leishmaniasis Diagnostic Laboratory, Valfajr Health Center, Shiraz, Iran, were included in this study. The smears were prepared from the lesion borders of patients and stained with Giemsa and diagnosed microscopically. For molecular identification, the genomic DNA of each sample was extracted, and PCR method was used. The geographical distribution map was prepared using ArcMap software. Finally, the possible correlation between the frequencies of CL in various subgroups was statistically analyzed by Chi-square test, using SPSS software. Of 161 positive samples confirmed by both microscopy and PCR, 126 (78.3%) and 35 (21.7%) samples were shown to be L. major and L. tropica, respectively. Also, 87 (54%) patients were male, and 74 (46%) were female. The study showed that anthroponotic cutaneous leishmaniasis (ACL) was detected only in Shiraz city, while zoonotic cutaneous leishmaniasis (ZCL) was observed both in Shiraz and most counties of Fars Province. Furthermore, the most CL infections occurred in district 8 among the different districts of Shiraz municipality, which requires serious attention.In recent years, many empirical studies investigated the effects of globalization on the ecological footprint (EF). Most of these studies relied on the KOF index of globalization and studied the effects of total globalization and disaggregated impacts of economic, social, and political globalization on the EF. However, less attention has been given to financial globalization which can also influence the EF. Hence, this study investigates the association between financial globalization (FG), economic growth (GDP), and EF controlling population density (PD) in the selected West Asian and the Middle East (WAME) nations from 1990 to 2017. The study relied upon second-generation methods for checking stationary properties and Westerlund and other techniques to scrutinize cointegration. The evidence showed cointegration in the model. The long-run approximations from continuously updated fully modified (CUP-FM) and continuously updated bias corrected (CUP-BC) tests divulge that financial globalization is an important factor to promote ecological sustainability in the sample countries because it decreases EF. Population density exacerbates EF and worsens environmental deterioration in sample countries. The study detected the environmental Kuznets curve (EKC) between EF and economic growth in the presence of financial globalization and population density. Besides, financial globalization Granger causes EF, while the feedback effect exists between EF and economic growth. Based on these results, WAME economies can accomplish ecological sustainability and sustainable development by enhancing their financial globalization levels.The site selection process for municipal solid wastes (MSW) plays an important role in environmental impact studies by allowing the use of environmental design criteria in city and country planning. In the study, Landsat 5 and Landsat 8 satellite images, base map, soil, and geology maps were used for the integration of geospatial data. Each layer specified in the map has been formed using the spatial analysis potential of the ArcGIS10.5 software. Central rotatable composite design (CRCD) was used to determine ideal conditions, using nanocatalyst and dye concentration such as input variables and degradation percentage like response variable. Samples were characterized by XRD, SEM-EDS, N2 porosimetry, DLS, and zeta potential analyses. TiNPs@NZ-180 showed the best photocatalytic activity (62.62 and 50.82% under UV and visible irradiation, respectively). Specific surface area has increased from 35.90 to 418.90 m2 g-1 for NZ-180 and TiNPs@NZ-180, respectively. Photocatalytic performance of TiNPs@NZ-180 has reduced to 8 and 10% after 5 cycles under UV and visible light irradiation.
