Conclusion Esculin may regulate cell cycle-related p53-p21 pathway via FBI-1 mediated DNA replication, thus inhibit the proliferation of triple negative breast cancer cells.Small cell lung cancer (SCLC), a special type of lung cancer, is a highly malignant neuroendocrine tumor with strong invasiveness and rapid progression. SCLC is sensitive to radiotherapy and chemotherapy, so radiotherapy and chemotherapy have been the main first-line treatment of SCLC. However, it is easy to develop drug resistance after treatment. Therefore, the study of anti-angiogenic therapy has attracted more and more attention. At present, anti-angiogenic drugs mainly focus on four categories monoclonal antibodies (such as bevacizumab), endogenous angiogenesis inhibitors (such as endostar), anti-angiogenic fusion protein (such as aflibercept) and small molecular tyrosine kinase inhibitors (such as anlotinib). There are still some bottlenecks in the research and clinical application of antiangiogenic drugs. It is the right direction to explore better combination therapy and effective dual-field and multi-target drugs.As a new type of anthracyclines, pegylated liposomal doxorubicin (PLD) is widely used in the treatment of a variety of malignant tumors, including soft tissue sarcoma, ovarian cancer, breast cancer, multiple myeloma, and so on. Compared with traditional anthracyclines, PLD can significantly decrease the incidences of adverse events such as cardiac toxicity and alopecia. However, the use of PLD will be accompanied with toxic side effects such as hand-foot syndrome, oral mucositis, and infusion reaction. This consensus will mainly focus on the mechanism, prevention and treatment of adverse events of PLD, in order to improve the therapeutic efficacy of PLD and life quality of patients.Objectives To analyze the epidemiological characteristics and levels of vitamin B(12) and folate as well as their relationship in women awaiting delivery, in Shaanxi province. Methods Data were collected from healthy pregnant women who gave birth at six top hospitals in Shaanxi, from January 2014 to December 2016. Blood samples were taken prenatally to determine the levels of vitamin B(12) and folate. Quantile regression model was used to analyze the relationship between the levels of vitamin B(12) and folates in women awaiting delivery. Results A total of 1 277 women awaiting delivery were included in this study. Among them, the median level of serum vitamin B(12) was 164.7 pg/ml, in women at late pregnancy, with the deficiency rate as 69.6%, while the median level of serum folate was 7.6 ng/ml, with the deficiency rate as 12.1%. 58.4% of these women presented simple vitamin B(12) deficiency and 0.9% with simple folate deficiency. Women living in rural areas showed lower levels of both vitamin B(12) and folate than the women from the urban areas. Both the levels of vitamin B(12) and folate increased with age but were significantly lower in women under the age of 25. Among those with or without folate deficiency, the average difference in the levels of vitamin B(12) was 37.62 pg/ml. Quantile regression models showed that the vitamin B(12) levels in women with folate deficiency were significantly lower than those without, despite the different levels of vitamin B(12). This difference appeared increasing along with the increase of the vitamin B(12) levels. Conclusions Our data showed that both vitamin B(12) and folate were deficient in women awaiting delivery, in Shaanxi. We suggest that vitamin B(12) should also be added into the folic acid supplementation program, together with the reinforcement on health education program to improve the awareness of nutrient supplementation in rural and young women. Hopefully, these strategies could increase the levels of both vitamin B(12) and folate, in the province.Objective To explore the effects of dietary glycemic load (GL) during first trimester on the risk of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). Methods A prospective study was conducted among healthy women with singleton pregnancy at 8-14 weeks of gestation in a maternity out-patient clinic of maternal-and-child health care institution in Chengdu, Sichuan province. check details Information on dietary intake during the first trimester was collected through a 3-day 24-hour dietary recall. Glycemic index (GI) values were obtained from China Food Composition Tables (Standard Edition) and International Tables of Glycemic Index and Glycemic Load Values (2008). Dietary GL and GLs of staple foods were calculated based on GI values and the amount of carbohydrate consumed per day. Diagnostic criteria of GDM was followed the Guidelines for Diagnosis and Treatment of Pregnancy Diabetes in China (2014), and used on participants who underwent an oral glucose tolerant test during 24-28 weeks of gestation. Log-binomial regression models were u95%CI 1.06-1.59; RR=1.28, 95%CI 1.03-1.59), respectively, than the lowest quartile of GL of rice group. When compared with the lowest quartile of GL of tubers group, the highest quartile of GL of tubers group increased the risk of GDM (RR=1.30, 95%CI 1.09-1.54). However, we did not notice the effects of wheat GL and coarse grain GL on the risk of GDM. Conclusions A positive association was found between dietary glycemic load and the risk of GDM. Higher dietary glycemic load, especially in rice and tubers during first trimester, seemed to have increased the risk of GDM.Objective To analyze the genomic characteristics of human infection with H9N2 avian influenza virus in Gansu province. Methods The etiological analysis was conducted for human infection with H9N2 avian influenza virus detected in influenza like illness cases in northwestern China in 2016. Molecular bioinformatics Mega 7.0 software was used to analyze the full genomic sequences of the viral isolate. Results The gene fragments of HA, NA, MP, NP, NS, PA, PB1 and PB2 of the isolate were highly similar (>90%) to those of H9N2 avian influenza virus strain isolated in external environment in Gansu from 2014 to 2019. The HA gene belonged to BJ/94-like branch, PB2 and MP belonged to G1/97-like branch, and the PB1, PA, NS, and NP genes belonged to F/98-like branch. MP and PB2 were closely related to H7N9, H10N8 and H5N6 viruses. Amino acid sequence alignment showed that the HA cleavage site was arranged in PSRSSR ↓ GLF, H183N and Q226L mutated which included 7 HA glycosylated sites; 62-64 sites of NA absented 3 amino acids (ITE); and M2-31N, NS1-42S, PA-356R, and PA-409N mutated.
