We report a case of PCD secondary to metastatic NEC in the lymph nodes, with an unknown primary origin. The case presented acute cerebellar manifestations with typical neuroimaging findings, but with atypical prognosis after lymph node dissection. Neurological symptoms can provide clues to potential tumors, and early antitumor treatment may have contributed to the positive prognosis of PCD secondary to NEC in the present case.CASE REPORT OF COVID 19-Recurrence We describe as case series of 7 patients who presented with a recurrence of COVID 19 by PCR test an average of 94.9 days after their initial symptomatic presentation of illness. Patients had tested negative by PCR or had evidence of antibodies in between the 2 episodes. The majority of patients were asymptomatic on the second presentation and were found incidentally on prescreen for procedures, surgery. The subsequent positive COVID-19 PCR tests resulted in cancellations of clinic, procedures, surgery, and impacted patients' home and employment status. A national cross-sectional survey of workers was carried out in 504 bakeries in Lebanon. selleck screening library One worker in each bakery was interviewed using questions relating to the workplace environment and heat stress-related health symptoms. Heat and humidity measurements were recorded in bakeries. Descriptive analyses were performed, and logistic regression assessed relationships between the workplace environment, worker perceptions, and reports of heat stress-related health symptoms. In total, 47.2% of workers experienced heat stress-related symptoms, 83% perceived workplace temperatures as hot, and 48% perceived these temperatures as affecting their health. link2 Humidex readings showed that 49% of bakeries had conditions unsafe for routine work tasks. We aimed to estimate the pooled prevalence of erectile dysfunction (ED) among patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) in Ethiopia and to identify its associated factors.

We performed a systematic search of scientific databases (PubMed, ScienceDirect); the grey literature was also searched (Google, Google Scholar). Data were extracted from primary studies using a data extraction format and exported for statistical analysis. I
tests were used to assess the heterogeneity of studies. Owing to heterogeneity among the included studies, we used a random-effects model to determine pooled estimates of ED. Publication bias was assessed using Egger's and Begg's tests.

The pooled prevalence of ED among patients with DM in Ethiopia was 54.3% (95% confidence interval [CI] 28.2-80.5). Older age (OR 4.42, 95% CI 2.83-6.00) and duration of DM (OR 3.2, 95% CI 1.74-4.66) had statistically significant associations with ED.

One in two individuals with DM in Ethiopia also had ED. This finding highlights the need to integrate assessment and management of ED into routine medical care in diabetes follow-up visits. Special attention is recommended for patients with older age and a longer duration of DM.

The Kurdish Region of Iraq (KRI) is home to Kurds, internally displaced persons, and Syrian refugees. In the last decades, its inhabitants have witnessed a great deal of political instability, which has led to increased rates of psychological distress. Mental illness contrasts with limited access to and availability of mental health services - and so the treatment gap remains high. link3 This study aims to investigate the perspectives, perceptions, and expectations of Syrian refugees, internally displaced persons and KRI host community members concerning mental health care in the governorate of Duhok. Attitudes and perspectives regarding psychotherapy, such as satisfaction with services, effects of therapy, bias toward therapy, and stigma, are explored.

One hundred one participants were recruited from hospitals, clinical settings, and institutions from the governorate of Duhok in the KRI. Participants received the Patient Satisfaction Questionnaire (PSQ) and were asked to evaluate services through four subscales patient satisfaction, effects of therapy, bias toward therapy, and stigma.

Results revealed overall high satisfaction with services and effects of therapy. In contrast, both bias and stigma subscales were rated more ambivalently.

Patient satisfaction is key for assessing health care quality, understanding attitudes toward therapy, and help-seeking behavior. Results offer insight for stakeholders in the psychosocial field allowing for a better understanding and improvement of availability and access to quality-driven mental health care services.
