Albums

Toto's discography comprises 13 studio albums as well as 4 live albums. There are also compilations. Toto has released original music and collaborated with other artists on soundtracks and films. The group has won a number of Grammy Awards for their work.

Before Toto was formed The members of the band did session work for other musicians. David Paich, the son of session drummer Marty Paich, and Jeff Porcaro (the brother of guitarist Joe Porcaro and drummer Jeff Porcaro) all performed on Boz Scaggsalbum from 1975 Silk Degrees. Toto was formed in the year 1976 in the wake of the collaboration.

Shem von Schröck took over Leland Sklar as the drummer during the tour for the 40 Trips Around the Sun album. In the year 2017, Toto released the double-CD set Falling in Between. It included live recordings from the tour as well as an interview with the group.

Toto has released numerous music videos. The group has released a number of compilation videos and DVDs. The most popular video for the band is "Africa", which has more than one billion views on YouTube. The video is set in a library where the band performs on top of a stack of African books.
