- Kecanduan melamun

- Gerakan berulang ketika melamun adalah hal biasa, misal menggerakkan benda dalam genggaman.
-Terkadang penderita berbicara, tertawa, menangis, dan membuat ekspresi ketika melamun. Orang yang menderita MD mengetahui perbedaan lamunan dan kenyataan. Hal ini yang membedakan MD dengan skizoprenia atau psikopat.
-Seseorang bisa membutuhkan waktu berjam-jam melamun, dan mengalami kesulitan tidur. Mereka juga mengacuhkan kebutuhan dasar seperti mandi, makan, dan aktivitas lain karena melamun.
