Laparoscopic one anastomosis gastric bypass (LOAGB) is a relatively new procedure for the treatment of morbid obesity and related comorbidities. On average, this procedure results in good postoperative weight loss with a low complication rate. Recent publications suggest that dumping syndrome and weight regain might be reduced by placing a silicone ring over the gastric pouch during the procedure, so called laparoscopic banded one anastomosis gastric bypass (LBOAGB).

86 patients undergoing LBOAGB between 2018 and 2020 were enrolled in this retrospective study. Hospital records were used to assess weight loss, comorbidity resolution, and any complications either in the short or medium term.

54 Female and 32 male patients were included with a mean age of 43 years (25-64), preoperative body mass index of 42 kg/m
(35-49), and preoperative weight of 114 kg (86-162). Thirty-four patients presented with type 2 diabetes (39.5%), 42 patients (49%) diagnosed with hypertension, 24 presented with OSAS (28%), and efficacy in the short term. Further prospective studies will be required to evaluate the consistency of the results in the long term.
LBOAGB shows promising results in terms of safety and efficacy in the short term. Further prospective studies will be required to evaluate the consistency of the results in the long term.
To evaluate the effect of anterior lens curvature in primary angle closure (PAC) and find additional anatomical features of crystalline lens that may predispose primary angle closure to the acute course.

435 eyes (263 subjects) were enrolled in this study. Four groups of eyes were included based on angle configurations and clinical features (i) acute primary angle closure (APAC, 140 eyes); (ii) chronic primary angle closure (CPAC, 116 eyes); (iii) primary angle closure suspect (PACS, 84 eyes); and (iv) normal controls (95 eyes). All patients underwent thorough ophthalmic exams including applanation tonometry, gonioscopy, low-coherence interferometry, and ultrasound biomicroscopic imaging. Based on the panoramic anterior segment images from ultrasound biomicroscopic imaging measurements, the radius of anterior lens curvature (ALR) was calculated using the least-squares curve fitting technique. ALR, in addition to axial length (AL), anterior chamber depth (ACD), and lens thickness (LT), was compared among different groups using univariate and multivariate analysis with mixed effects linear model.

APAC, CPAC, and PACS groups all had steeper ALR, shorter AL, shallower ACD, and thicker LT than normal control group. ACD and LT further differ between APAC and CPAC or PACS eyes. Moreover, a steeper ALR was also found in the APAC group as compared to CPAC, PACS, and normal control groups.

A steeper ALR may predispose the acute attack of PAC. In addition to the relative lens position and size, lens curvature is another variable that contributes to the pathophysiological mechanisms of primary angle closure.

The degree of frailty was evaluated by the Fried fragility phenotype scale, and the general information and the clinical data of patients were collected by inquiry and questionnaire survey. After that, all the data were analyzed by SPSS 20.0. Univariate analysis showed that there were significant differences in age, medication types, dietary habits, exercise tolerance, exercise capacity, body balance, coordination ability, urinary incontinence, anxiety, etc., in elderly patients with type II diabetes who suffered from different degrees of frailty (P  less then  0.01). In addition, there were significant differences in the presence of coronary heart disease, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, pulmonary diseases, osteoarticular diseases, anemia, and other blood diseases of elderly patients with type II diabetes who suffered from different degrees of frailty (P  less then  0.01). Multiple Logistic regression analyses indicated that weakened exercise tolerance, reduced exercise capacity, atrial fibrillation, anemia, and other blood diseases were the influencing factors of the frailty in elderly patients with type II diabetes. The degree of frailty in elderly patients with diabetes is affected by many factors, such as exercise tolerance, exercise capacity, atrial fibrillation, anemia, and other blood diseases; thus, reasonable intervention should be implemented for elderly patients with type II diabetes according to the influencing factors so as to effectively relieve frailty.Hemophagocytic syndrome (HPS) is a rare disease in clinical practice, and there are often cases of delayed diagnosis. At present, researchers have applied 18F-FDG PET/CT in the differential diagnosis of HPS, but no consensus has been formed. Therefore, this study aims to systematically evaluate the application value of 18F-FDG PET/CT in the diagnosis of HPS patients. PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wangfang database (Wangfang), and Chinese Biomedical Network (CBM) were searched to collect the relevant studies of 18F-FDG PET/CT in the diagnosis of HPS. Data from the articles were screened and extracted for meta-analysis using Stata16.0 software. A total of 10 retrospective studies, including 300 patients, were included in this meta-analysis. The meta-analysis results showed that the pooled sensitivity was 0.82 (95% CI 0.67-0.95), specificity was 0.72 (95% CI 0.51-0.86), positive likelihood ratio was 2.89 (95% CI 1.46-5.75), positive likelihood ratio was 0.25 (95% CI 0.12-0.54), diagnostic odds ratio was 2.89 (95% CI 1.46-5.75), and AUC was 0.84 (95% CI 0.81-0.87). The SUVmax in the liver, spleen, lymph nodes, and bone marrow of HPS patients was greater than 2.5, and the SUVmax in the spleen, lymph nodes, and bone marrow of malignant HPS patients was higher than that of benign HPS patients. The difference was statistically significant (P less then 0.05). According to the existing literature evidence, 18F-FDG PET/CT is an effective method for diagnosing HPS.With the increasing global attention to the problem of staff stress, scholars in the fields of sociology, psychology, and medicine are seeking effective solutions. Music therapy has entered the field of vision of scholars with its unique advantages and is used to maintain the mental health of workers in various industries and improve work efficiency. To solve the problem of employees' psychological pressure, ordinary psychotherapy is mainly done through conversation. At present, the psychological pressure generated by employees in the workplace is obviously unable to be treated by ordinary psychological treatment methods. Music therapy can play its role in this situation. This article collects a large amount of data through surveys to obtain the job satisfaction data of medical care, education, and restaurant staff for the corresponding occupations, analyzes the data, and considers the role of music therapy in this type of industry to relieve the psychological pressure of relevant staff. In the end, it is concluded that music therapy can stimulate employees' creative inspiration, eliminate employee fatigue, and eliminate some potential unfavorable factors. It can also enhance the friendship between employees, improve employee work efficiency and employees' sense of corporate identity, and reduce employee pain sense. In general, music therapy can have a positive impact in many areas, especially in corporate applications, which can have a positive impact on employees in many aspects in the workplace.
To explore the application value of perioperative nursing for patients with brain tumors with epilepsy symptoms under the cortical electrocorticography (EEG) monitoring.

A total of 86 patients with brain tumor complicated with epilepsy admitted to the department of brain surgery of our hospital from January 2018 to December 2019 were selected as the research objects, and all underwent resection under cortical EEG monitoring. MKI-1 According to different nursing methods, they were divided into the control group and observation group, each with 43 cases. The control group was given perioperative basic nursing, and the observation group was given perioperative comprehensive nursing. The EEG image of the patient during the operation was observed by a portable EEG monitor. Anxiety and depression were assessed by self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale (SDS) scores. The self-made satisfaction questionnaire was used to investigate the nursing satisfaction. A visual analogue (VAS) score is usedd improve the patient's quality of life. It can also reduce the occurrence of complications, improve nursing satisfaction, thereby improving patient compliance, and has a high clinical application value.
Perioperative comprehensive nursing intervention for patients with epileptic brain tumor undergoing resection under cortical EEG monitoring can reduce or even eliminate the recurrence rate of epilepsy, reduce the patient's pain and stress response, and improve the patient's quality of life. It can also reduce the occurrence of complications, improve nursing satisfaction, thereby improving patient compliance, and has a high clinical application value. The study focused on the therapeutic effect of clinical treatment on urinary calculi with kidney failure and its relationship with the serum inflammatory factor levels. 90 children with melamine urinary calculi were selected as research subjects. Of them, 52 cases were in group 1 (nonrenal failure), and 38 cases were in group 2 (combined with renal failure). In addition, 35 hospitalized children with no history of melamine-contaminated milk feeding during the same period were used as healthy controls. They all underwent ultrasound imaging examination based on the speckle noise algorithm, and the prognosis was analyzed. It was found that the peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR), structural similarity (SSIM), and local edge preservation index (EPI) of the algorithm in this study were significantly greater than other algorithms (P  0.05). Hence, the denoising algorithm in this study has better denoising effects on ultrasound images than traditional algorithms, with higher definition and less noise and artifacts. The clinical treatment of children with urinary calculi and renal failure is highly effective, the renal function and serum inflammatory factor levels return to the normal range, and the inflammatory response is weakened.
Levosimendan preconditioning has been shown to attenuate myocardial apoptosis in animal models. However, protective effects of levosimendan postconditioning against myocardial apoptosis following myocardial infarction (MI) have not been evaluated. Therefore, we investigated the effects of levosimendan postconditioning on myocardial apoptosis in MI rat models.

In an anoxia/reoxygenation (A/R) model, H9c2 cells were pretreated with or without levosimendan postconditioning after which their apoptosis rates were assessed by flow cytometry, RT-qPCR, and western blot analyses. Then, postconditioning was performed with or without levosimendan in MI rat models. Myocardiocyte apoptosis was evaluated by echocardiography, TTC staining, TUNEL staining, immunohistochemical staining, RT-qPCR, and western blot analysis.

Levosimendan postconditioning inhibited H9c2 cell apoptosis in A/R models by elevating Bcl-2 while suppressing Caspase-3 and Bax at both mRNA and protein levels. Moreover, it improved cardiac functions and reduced the left ventricle infarction area in MI rat models.
