Best 2 in 1 Pram Stroller
The TAVO Next glides effortlessly over most terrains thanks to its leatherette handle. It's not our lightest stroller, but it's more difficult to lift up the stairs than other models.
The Cybex Gazelle is a gazelle even when it's loaded with groceries and up to three kids. The only downside is that it does not have a second child board or seat to accommodate growing families.
1. TAVO Next
The TAVO Next is a budget-friendly stroller that can fit kids up to 50 pounds. It is very spacious and the seat reclines, and it lies flat. It's also easy to close and open and comes with an XXL canopy with venting and windows that peek out. Nuna updated the TAVO harness for 2021 by adding Magnetech Secure Snap. This allows it to be securing safely and easily with one hand.
While the TAVO is a great option for parents who want to save money, it's not the best choice when you're looking to use a bassinet or a reversible seat. It can only be used in only one way, and it doesn't have the capacity to allow for a car seat, or other accessories like the bassinet stand, cup holder, rain cover or a tray for snacks for children. If you're looking to add a little more, the MIXX Next is a better option since it can take all of these items.
Roam near or far and transfer baby from the car to the curb using the TAVO's built-in Free-flex suspension for a smooth ride. The spacious, luxurious seat allows baby to unwind and drift off into dreamland. Parents will also appreciate the fold-away axle that folds down and MagneTech Secure Snap.
The TAVO is easy to fold and can stand upright in folded position and can be used to free up areas like trunks, garages or closets. It is also easy to maneuver and comes with a handy basket for storage, as well as brakes that are flip-flop-friendly. It also connects directly to the extremely secure Nuna PIPA series car seats by a single click, no adapters are required for a sleek travel set-up.
2. UPPAbaby Vista v2
The UPPAbaby Vista V2 is one of our top-rated full-size strollers. It is a fantastic choice for families with growing children, as it can work with an infant car seats, and toddler seats. The stroller is able to take a riding board that makes it an all-in-one stroller.
The padded seats are designed for comfort. The recline is easy to use and has four positions that make it adjustable to meet the child's needs. The foot rest can also be adjusted to make the ride more comfortable for passengers. The canopy is huge and is a huge bonus for parents looking to shield their children from the sun. It is SPF 50+ rated and comes with a pop-out visor, two mesh peek-aboo windows and a flap cover.
The fabrics of the UPPAbaby V2 are machine washable. This is crucial because it will extend the life of your buggy, so that you can use it for many years. It is also simpler to clean up spills such as spills of juice or food instead of having to scrub away the stains that are stubborn.
The new tires from UPPAbaby are softer and larger that result in more comfortable riding. They can withstand rough terrain and minimize vibrations while rolling through town. The brakes have one-handed operation and are simple to use. They also feature an extremely small foot pedal with a color coded design that is suitable for all kinds of footwear.
This stroller is among the most expensive of our selections. However, it is worth it if you're looking for a stroller which will last many years. Take a look at the UPPAbaby Vista V2 on Amazon for more information.
3. Cybex Gazelle
The Cybex Gazelle is a great choice for parents who want a stroller to grow with their family. 2 in 1 stroller is a "modular" stroller or "convertible" stroller that can be configured in more than 20 ways to accommodate various seats including infant car seats, cots, and cradles.
The Cybex Gazelle is easy to move and light, making it ideal for parents who love to explore. It has a large storage basket and many attachments so parents can carry their groceries or even light shopping. It's more expensive than other 2 in 1 prams, but it's a worthwhile investment as the quality and performance of this model is top-quality.
This stroller comes with a one-pull safety harness that makes it easy to ensure your child is secured in the seat. It also has an adjustable sun canopy that has peek-a-boo and XXL panels. It also comes with a handy parent tray to hold snacks, drinks and phones. The telescopic handlebar adjusts to fit the height of parents, and the brake is easy to access which makes it safe for children to operate.
Sophie, a mum from London, tested this stroller on two daughters, aged 5 months and 10 months. It was easy to maneuver and very smooth on cobbled streets, even if the ground was slick. She loved that the padded seat and footrests were specifically designed to provide comfort and the large shopping basket was very useful. She also liked the fact that the hood and handlebar fabric could be washed in the washing machine essential for parents with busy schedules!
4. Joovy Twin Roo+
A frame stroller that is minimalist, the Twin Roo+ offers car seat click-in compatibility and a large storage bin. It's one of the most lightweight twin strollers available. It weighs 24 pounds without attachments for infant car seats, which is light for a double stroller. It is slightly heavier than the UPPAbaby Vista v2 Double and the Thule Urban Glide 2 Double.
The Roo+ comes with a quick-start guide and is simple to use. It snaps together quickly and can be road-ready within less than 10 minutes. It doesn't have a canopy built-in therefore your children will have to wear their own sunshades if you need extra coverage from the elements.
During our tests, we discovered that the Roo+ was a dual stroller that handled well. It's able to navigate most terrains with ease, although it has trouble going over muddy areas and gravel. It isn't easy to navigate over and up 1-inch curbs. We do not recommend taking this stroller off-road or on stairs, however it does have a great suspension to minimize bumps for the passengers.
While the Roo+ has a large under-seat storage bin, it's difficult to access without removing the infant car seats. This is a common issue with twin frame strollers, however Joovy does offer a separate under-seat baby carrier bag that can help address this issue.
Unlike top-scoring strollers, the Roo+ doesn't have a self-standing fold or cup holders. It's a small price to pay for car seat compatibility and storage however we'd rather have to have a stroller that has more flexibility. Its flexibility in seating configuration is a plus, though, as it allows parents to mount their children's infant car seats facing opposite directions or in the same direction, to better suit their needs.
5. Delta Children LX Side by Side
Delta Children LX Side by Side scored highly in terms of weight and size folded. It's the best value double umbrella stroller we've seen in our review. It also scores well in maneuverability which is an essential feature for parents seeking a travel stroller that will fit into small spaces. The Delta is a basic model and does not have the features other strollers we tested offer like a big storage basket or a wide recline. However, it's a great choice for families on a budget and for those who require a secondary stroller for occasional use, such as going to the zoo for a day.
The LX Side by Side is a light compact stroller that's easy to push and turn. Its frame is short, it has with swivel wheels in the front and padded shoulder pads make for a smooth ride. The multi-position reclining seats as well as cup holders for parents allow for a comfortable ride for passengers.
It also comes with a large European-style canopy which provides shade from the sun and some protection from light winds. It also comes with two storage bags and a five-point harness for security.
The Delta was assembled in less than three minutes, which is the fastest time of all test groups. The manual is fairly basic, and it does not require any tools to put together. It is one of the lighter products in our test group and is able to fold flat, making it very easy to carry and lift. In our Strollers & Multiples test, we rate the ease and smoothness the ease with which each product can be pushed and turned to open and close the safety harness and adjusted the brakes, opened and closed the storage basket, and then removed and installed an infant car seat.
