스포츠토토 was expanding its production facilities in the overseas market and was doing business in France, Germany, Indonesia, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and the People's Republic of China. The company saw North America as a growth market for Washlet bidet seats and toilets, in contrast to its "base" markets of Japan and China.
Dhaniram Toto recorded Toto words to ensure that the future generation could understand the words. Many words were replaced by foreign ones. For instance dui, which is Bengali for verandah was being used.
Origins
Established in 1917, Toto's early years mirrored Japan's economic growth. In the beginning of its existence, the company produced products to meet the demands of new, modern urban housing. To achieve this, it used the first tunnel kiln in the nation to produce ceramics in a continuous flow. It also pioneered automation for production control, which helps to increase efficiency and consistency.
In the late 1980s the company began expanding overseas to profit from sales and new markets. 안전놀이터 established the Cera Trading Company, importing and distributing other products from other manufacturers to complement its own range of plumbing fittings and sanitary earthenware. This strategy helped increase sales and increased the firm's market share in the world.
In the 1990s, Toto had shifted its focus on research and development for household appliances that use water. It also improved its distribution system to better serve its customers and boost profits. The company used the same just-in-time approach to its supply chain management as well as sales program. This resulted in a higher level of satisfaction of customers.
메이저사이트 has been able to continue to innovate with regard to toilet technology. Its latest toilet, for example it has a powerful tornado flush that is more environmentally friendly than conventional toilets. The company uses recycled water in its manufacturing process, and also has a green purchasing policy. Toto also produces faucets, bathtubs and hand dryers that have higher energy efficiency than typical models.
The first Toto museum opened in the year 2015. It hosts exhibits on Toto’s seminal products, their evolution, the group companies (all of which are made from ceramics) as well as the history of plumbing and other products like bath units. In an additional gallery, you can see Toto products that are sold across the world. The museum also has the bathroom equipped with a washbasin and other toilet innovations.
Before the formation of Toto, members of the band did session work for a variety of musicians. Boz Scaggs album Silk Degrees featured keyboardist David Paich as well as guitarists Mike Porcaro & Steve Lukather as well as drummers Jeff Porcaro & Steve Lukather. They also performed on records by Steely Dan, Seals and Crofts, and Sonny and Cher.
Discography
With a name as evocative as Asia one would think that the group would be prog kings and queens - but it's actually a pretty straight forward rock band. The band started out as a quartet and released two albums - 1979's self-titled debut and 1980's Armed to the Teeth. However, even though the group have a variety of musical backgrounds their biggest hit came in 1982 with Toto IV.
The album was a major blockbuster, however it did not come without its share of problems. Record companies put the band on the spot with the ultimatum "give us an album that is a success or we'll sack you" and the pressure was on them to meet the deadline. Toto was able to do this through the aid of the hit song "Africa."
Toto's musical mastery owes a lot to their prior experience since the members had been session musicians for artists such as Boz Scaggs, Steely Dan, and Seals and Crofts prior to forming the group. Their sonic trademark has become the standard for 1980s music, and has inspired a lot of contemporary artists.
The album begins hard with songs like Running Out of Time or Unknown Soldier that show the band's ability to create great AOR tunes that slowly creep into your head. The album also has some more mellow, jazzy tracks such as The Little Things and Chinatown. The album closes with Great Expectations. This song is a mix of folk and distorted AOR, which should sound completely wrong but actually is very effective.
After Toto IV, the band's fortunes turned for the worse. David Hungate left the band to focus on his solo career. The band was dominated by drummers. In 1984, Bobby Kimball left the group due to drug charges. The band continued with Michael Porcaro, Steve Lukather and Michael Porcaro.
Toto released Isolation despite the turbulence. It was not as popular as IV. However, the band still had a successful chart-topping album in the year 1992 with Kingdom of Desire. This album marked the end of Toto's lineup and the debut of Simon Phillips, a new vocalist.
Tours
The band has performed around the world to a global audience of millions, with sold-out shows in Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia and New Zealand. The band's repertoire is vast, and their collective catalog has amassed over billion streams on streaming services around the world. The band's music has inspired many generations of fans.
Steve Lukather has forged a vibrant, intimate friendship with Joe Williams that is flourishing professionally all over the world. In 2018 the duo celebrated 40 Tours Around the Sun with a massively successful tour across the globe. The album of the same name debuted at 5 on the Billboard 200. The band's newest tour features their greatest hits rare live deep-cuts, and a selection of songs from Lukather's and Williams' individual catalogues.
TOTO has a satisfaction rating of 20 according to its Net Promoter Score which measures how likely its customers are to recommend the brand. Promoters are those who are highly satisfied with the company and actively encourage others to make use of their products or services. Detractors are those who evaluate the company poorly and might even actively dissuade people from using their services or products.
Join Toto to experience a unique cultural encounter in Asia. This highlights tour of a region that the French used to call Indochine provides luxurious accommodation, a day on a deluxe junk in Halong Bay, and an exploration of the mystical temples of Angkor Wat. You'll also spend one night in the charming town of Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage city that is a feast for the senses. This is a once-in-a-lifetime trip that you shouldn't miss!
Line-up
The album's third, Turn Back, marked an reversion to the classic sextet format of previous albums. It was a more powerful, constant effort with an edge that was stronger than Hydra. Its more punk-rock sound was a reflection of the maturation of the group, with drummer Bobby Kimball's greater ability on the drums and a more confident, mature vocal delivery by singer Joseph Williams. David Paich's work was sharper, more intricate, and less derivative than previously recorded performances.
After touring to promote their album, the group recorded their Amsterdam live performance that was released on Eagle Records as a 2-CD set titled Falling In Between. A new studio album followed a few months later, and the group embarked on an extensive world tour to promote it. In this time keyboardist Greg Phillinganes filled in for Paich, and bassist David Hungate left the group to spend more time with his family.
In 1998, Paich and Lukather started looking through old tapes and demos for an album that would feature songs that had never been recorded before. The album was released in 2001 as a double album titled Then and Now. It was the first album by the band without one single track titled "A". The album also contained a previously unreleased track "Kari-Anne".
By 2003, Toto had begun to decline in popularity. The fourth album, Old Is New, was a commercial failure and the vocalist Williams was suffering from a serious laryngitis condition which hampered his singing. Hungate also returned to Nashville and Leland Sklar's drumming was replaced by Shem Von Schroeck.
Downes along with the other members of Asia--Wetton, Palmer, and Howe--convened a meeting in England in the early part of 2006 to discuss the possibility of reforming the band. The lineup, with the exception of Howe who was occupied with Yes during that time, became Toto XIV. They toured extensively.
In 2010, the band reunited for another reunion tour with a slightly different line-up, including guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather, drummer John Pierce, bassist Shannon Forrest, and multi-instrumentalists Warren Ham and Dominique Taplin. The band also had a special appearance by singer Michael McDonald and a backing vocalist named Mabvuto Carver.
