To overcome this issue, many techniques have been applied for water purification and chemical oxidation is one of the effective ways to treat the wastewater called as advanced oxidation process (AOPs). In the present study, synthesized silver phosphate nanoparticles were employed as catalysts in the photocatalytic advanced oxidation process for the degradation of various dyes (RhB, MB, MO, and OG) and drug (SMZ). The photocatalyst was characterized through different analytical tools, e.g., PXRD, FTIR, UV-Vis DRS, DLS, FESEM, and HRTEM. The chemical behavior or interaction of dye molecule with catalyst surface has also been explored to understand the mechanism of photodegradation reaction. All the organic dyes and drugs showed pseudo first-order rate kinetics and it was found that RhB dye and SMZ drug degraded so fast by the photocatalyst. The maximum observed photodegradation rate was 0.0744 min-1 for SMZ drug and 0.0532 min-1 for RhB dye, respectively. The objective of this acidification is to increase the amount of phosphorus available in the digestate liquid fraction and, subsequently, recover this element by chemical precipitation in the form of struvite or calcium phosphate. Two digestate samples (one fresh and one old) were studied and treated by adding various amounts of sulphuric acid to the different digestate fractions (raw digestate, solid fraction and liquid fraction). For the raw digestate, phosphorus releases higher than 95% were obtained for pH 4.0. In the last part of the experiment, the influence of acid pre-treatment on the reaction yield of phosphorus precipitation, in the form of struvite or calcium phosphate, was determined. Improvements in reaction yield were obtained up to 15% for struvite and 80% for calcium phosphate, increasing also in 7.5 times the amount of phosphorus available in the digestate liquid fraction, for both cases.The MIL-53(Al)-NH2 was designed to remove fluoride with hierarchical hollow morphology. It was used as an adsorbent for fluoride removal at a wide pH range (1-12) due to the positive zeta potential of MIL-53(Al)-NH2. The pH did not significantly influence the fluoride adsorption into MIL-53(Al)-NH2. However, the adsorbent indicated good adsorption capacity with maximum adsorption of 1070.6 mg g-1. Different adsorption kinetic and thermodynamic models were investigated for MIL-53(Al)-NH2. The adsorption of fluoride into MIL-53(Al)-NH2 followed the pseudo-second-order model and a well-fitted Langmuir model indicating chemical and monolayer adsorption process. When mass transfer model was used at initial concentrations of 100 ppm and 1000 ppm, the rates of conversion were 8.4 × 10-8 and 4.7 × 10-8 m s-1. Moreover, anions such as [Formula see text], [Formula see text], [Formula see text], Cl-, and Br- also had less effect on the adsorption of fluoride. Also, experimental and theoretical calculations on adsorption mechanism of MIL-53(Al)-NH2 revealed that the material had good stability and regenerative capacity using alum as regenerant. In a nutshell, the dominant crystal face (1 0 1) and adsorption sites Al, O, and N combined well with F-, HF, and HF2- through density functional theory. It opens a good way of designing hollow MOFs for adsorbing contaminants in wastewater.Many universal school-based interventions aim to stimulate students' intrapersonal (e.g., self-esteem) and interpersonal (e.g., school climate) domains. To improve our understanding of why some of these interventions yield stronger effects than others, we identified intervention components that are related to stronger or weaker intervention effects. We systematically searched four databases (i.e., PsycINFO, PubMed, ERIC, CENTRAL) for controlled evaluations of universal school-based interventions. In total, 104 included studies (529 included effect sizes) reported on 99 unique interventions. Interventions showed small positive effects on the intrapersonal (d = 0.19) and interpersonal (d = 0.15) domains. Focusing on self-awareness and problem solving, using more active learning approaches, and using more extensive interventions predicted stronger intervention effects on aspects of both domains. In contrast, efforts to improve emotion regulation, assertiveness, cognitive coping, and using group discussions predicted weaker intervention effects. Furthermore, commonly implemented components were not necessarily related to stronger intervention effects and components that were related to stronger effects were not necessarily often implemented.
