Five tumors were ALK-positive with granular cytoplasmic staining by immunohistochemistry. ALK rearrangements were detected in five cases but was absent in one case. Conclusions UIMT is an intermediate grade soft tissue tumor, a minority may present with extrauterine spread and/or recurrence. The tumors are composed of spindled cells. The main differentials include smooth muscle tumors and endometrial stromal tumors and their morphology may overlap with that of UIMT. Immunohistochemical positivity for ALK or FISH testing for ALK rearrangements can help in the diagnosis.Objectives To investigate the clinicopathological and prognostic significance of International Endocervical Adenocarcinoma Criteria and Classification (IECC) in classifying endocervical adenocarcinomas among Chinese women. Methods A total of 286 endocervical adenocarcinomas diagnosed from January 2013 to December 2019 at the Women's Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine were identified and included. The cases were reviewed and reclassified based on IECC. The histological types were correlated with p16 immunostaining, human papilloma virus (HPV) mRNA status, the clinicopathological parameters including the International Federation of Gynecologic Oncology (FIGO) stage, and clinical follow-up data. Results The patients aged from 19 to 77 (median 47) years. There were 223 patients at FIGO stage Ⅰ, 22 at stage Ⅱ, 38 at stage Ⅲ and 3 at stage Ⅳ. The IECC types included 213 (74.5%) HPV-related adenocarcinomas (HPVA), 60 (21%) non-HPV-related adenocarcinomas (NHPVA), and 13 (4.5%) adenocarcinomas, no otherly associated with tumor recurrence (P less then 0.05). Conclusions The two broad IECC categories, HPVA and NHPVA, not only provide morphological links to the etiology (HPV infection), but also have significant clinicopathological and prognostic relevance.Objective To investigate the clinicpathological, immunohistochemical and molecular genetic features of malignant mixed mesodermal tumor (MMMT) in the female reproductive system. Methods To analyze its histopathological characteristics, we performed a retrospective review of the MMMT cases diagnosed at PLA General Hospital, Beijing, China during 2005-2019 using its surgical and pathological databases. EnVision immunohistochemical staining was used to detect the expression of ER, PR, p16, p53 and MMR proteins. Results Fifty cases were conformed to the diagnosis, including 29 cases originated in the uterus, 16 cases in ovary, 4 cases of synchronous occurrence in uterus and ovary, 1 case in cervix. The tumor was histologically composed of two components, namely carcinoma and sarcoma ones, with clear borderline or blend mutually. The proportion of cancer component in the whole tumor ranged from 5%-90%. The proportion of carcinoma was more than 50% in 76% of the cases, and less than 50% in 24% of cases, including 2stly mutant p53 and proficient mismatch repair proteins. The patients with a high FIGO stage have worse prognosis.

Oleuropein is the main bioactive polyphenolic compound in olive leaves, olive, and olive oil. Its anticancer, antioxidant, and antiinflammatory effects have been proven through several

studies. This study aimed to explore the effects of oleuropein on cyclophosphamideand epirubicin-induced toxicity in female rats.
Seven groups containing eight rats in each group were formed. Four cycles of 16 mg/kg/week of cyclophosphamide and 2.5 mg/kg/week of epirubicin were administered to the rats through intraperitoneal injection. Oleuropein (150 mg/kg/week) was simultaneously applied via oral gavage. The effects of oleuropein were examined with hemogram tests in whole blood samples and biochemical analysis in serum samples. Interleukin-6 (IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) in the serum samples were analyzed through enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Subsequently, a comet assay was performed using lymphocyte DNA. The levels of oxidant [i.e., malondialdehyde (MDA)] and antioxidants [i.e., catalase (CAT), glutathione (GSH), and superoxide dismutase (SOD)] were measured in the heart, kidney, and liver tissues.
Oleuropein could reduce DNA damage and serum TNF-α and IL-6 levels. It also ameliorated some hemogram and biochemical parameters that deteriorated due to antineoplastic drugs. The focal intent of the current research work is to develop and validate a novel and reliable stability-indicating reverse-phase high performance liquid chromatographic method for the simultaneous estimation of a few anti-retrovirals, i.e., bictegravir, emtricitabine, and tenofovir alafenamide fumarate (AF).
The novel method employs inertsil octyldecylsilyl C18 (4.6×250 mm, 5 mm) using 0.2% triethylamine buffer and methanol in a ratio of 4060% (v/v) as the mobile phase to attain optimal elution. The detection wavelength was 260 nm with a 1.2 mL/min flow rate and a 20 μL injection volume.
The linearity ranges for bictegravir, emtricitabine and tenofovir AF were 25-125 μg/mL, 100-500 μg/mL, and 12.5-62.5 μg/mL, respectively. The retention times for bictegravir, emtricitabine, and tenofovir AF were found to be 5.998 min, 2.805 min, and 4.537, min respectively. The percent recoveries of bictegravir, emtricitabine, and tenofovir AF were within the range of 98-102% w/w.
The novel method was successfully validated as per International Conference on Harmonization guidelines. In forced degradation studies, emtricitabine was found to be sensitive to thermal conditions; bictegravir and tenofovir AF, to oxidative conditions. Bee propolis is a natural substance that is used in traditional medicine due to its versatile pharmacological actions. This study evaluates whether short term use of bee propolis supplementation could have an impact on glycemic control in healthy individuals.
A single daily dose of 1000 mg of bee propolis was administered orally to a total of 34 healthy individuals for 60 days. Body weight, body mass index (BMI), fasting blood glucose (FBG), glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c), and insulin resistance were measured in all participants before and after the use of bee propolis.
The results of this study showed that bee propolis was associated with a significant increase in body weight and BMI of healthy volunteers. Bee propolis supplementation decreased FBG and HbA1c, but did not affect insulin resistance.
Based on these results, bee propolis supplementation has a potential effect on glycemic control in healthy individuals and this should be considered when using this supplement in medical conditions.

The current study aims to evaluate the combined antiepileptic effects of pregabalin (PGB) and nimodipine (NMD) in an acute seizure model of epilepsy in mice.
This study assessed the combined antiepileptic effects of PGB with NMD on death protection in mice. Pentylenetetrazole was used to induce seizures. Both drugs were used singly and in combination to judge anticonvulsant effects on an acute seizure model of epilepsy in mice. Diazepam (DZ) and valproate (VPT) were used as standard antiepileptic drugs.
The death protection in mice by both these drugs was observed in percentage and deliberated as marked change when the outcome of the tested drug was equal to ED
of PGB and measured highly marked when the result was more than ED
for PGB. Treatment with pregabalin and nimodipine combination revealed substantial mortality protection at 30+2.5 mg/kg dose and highly marked at doses from 35+5 mg/kg to 55+15 mg/kg, these effects were superior to individual effects of PGB, showing synergism, however lesser then classic drugs valproate and diazepam.
NMD showed synergistic anticonvulsant effect with PGB. However, clinical studies are required to establish the effectiveness of this combination in humans.
