Patch testing, used in the assessment of allergic contact dermatitis, is ideally avoided in patients receiving immunosuppressive therapy because of concerns with reductions in accuracy; however, this is not well characterized in the literature. This systematic review summarizes patch testing results in patients receiving immunosuppressive therapy. We identified 16 studies, comprising 195 patients with dermatitis or psoriasis, who were patch tested while receiving immunosuppressants. Of these, 7 studies, comprising 85 patients with dermatitis, patch tests were performed before and during immunosuppression. Overall, 67.9% (n = 19) of the dermatitis patients receiving dupilumab maintained positive reactions to an allergen that previously graded as a 2+/3+ reaction. Several immunosuppressants were also associated with positive patch test results for various allergens. These include dupilumab, cyclosporine, and low-dose prednisone (≤10 mg/d) for dermatitis, and tumor necrosis factor α inhibitors, ustekinumab, an reactions to an allergen that previously graded as a 2+/3+ reaction. The aim of this scoping review was to map teaching strategies incorporating Quality and Safety Education for Nurses (QSEN) competencies and assessment tools based on the QSEN framework.
The search was conducted through MEDLINE, Embase, Scopus, and Web of Science databases and carried out through the framework developed by Arksey and O'Malley and revised by Levac et al.
Thirty-one studies were included. Among QSEN competences, patient-centered care, safety, and teamwork and collaboration were most frequently incorporated into teaching strategies. Most assessment tools aimed at capturing the achievement of QSEN competencies after a classroom learning experience.
The scoping review made it possible to identify various teaching strategies and assessment tools developed on the QSEN framework. Further studies are needed to test teaching strategies to facilitate students' acquisition of QSEN competencies in clinical environments.

Unit exam scores and course failure rates were measured before and after implementation. Twelve of 14 students who completed the remediation demonstrated a statistically significant increase in scores from the first failed exam to the last exam taken. The mean increase was 17.3 percentage points (p < .0001, 95 percent confidence interval [13.3, 20.9]). Cohen's d, which equaled 0.604, indicated a significant increase in course pass rates.

This article reviews three of the most recent and cutting-edge strategies that are currently being investigated to address the issues of poor ovarian response (POR) and primary ovarian insufficiency (POI).
Publications revealing the mechanism of mechanical disruption of the Hippo signaling pathway paved the way to studies on its potential application for fertility treatments. This, in combination with Akt stimulation, resulted in live births and ongoing pregnancies in women with POI. Building on previous reports on the effects of bone marrow transplants on fertility after chemotherapy, another approach involved autologous stem cell ovarian transplantation (ASCOT). Endometrial stem cells (ESCs) are multipotent cells that are thought to originate locally in the endometrium as well as in the bone marrow (BM). They have remarkable plasticity and hold promise as an autologous source for regenerative medicine. This review focuses on recent studies that have advanced our understanding of the biology and function of ESCs and BM-derived stem cells (BMDSCs) as related to physiological reproductive processes and pathologies. Moreover, it reviews recent data on potential therapeutic applications of stem cells to endometrial disorders that lead to reproductive failure.
Growing evidence from basic and preclinical studies suggests that ESCs participate in endometrial tissue regeneration and repair. Recent evidence also suggests that ESCs and BMDSCs play important roles in physiological reproductive functions including decidualization, implantation, pregnancy maintenance, and postpartum uterine remodeling. Initial preclinical and clinical studies with ESCs and BMDSCs suggest they have the potential to provide new therapies for various endometrial disorders associated with reproductive failure.
Uterine ESCs and BMDSCs appear to play an important biological role in reproductive success and failure, and have the potential to become treatment targets for reproductive diseases including recurrent implantation failure, thin endometrium, Asherman, and recurrent pregnancy loss.
