The opportunity of electrotrophic denitrification in conjunction with sulfur reuse inside MFC and its answers in order to COD/SO42- percentages.
Lastly, two groups of dental students were assessed to evaluate the effect of 3D models on dental anatomy education. Participants in the Digital group were allowed to use the online dental learning platform freely after class, while the participants in the Traditional group were not. Assessment quizzes showed that participants' scores improved in the Digital group with the use of the learning platform compared with scores in the Traditional group. A questionnaire survey indicated that the participants had a positive attitude towards the 3D models. Thus, adding digital 3D resources to a traditional curriculum may have a positive effect on academic achievements.
What are the key considerations of the incidence and timing for single-tooth implant complications, including early failure, biological complications, and prosthetic complications?

Single-tooth dental implants have been shown to have a high overall survival rate, but implant complications affect patient satisfaction and may lead to costly and/or time-consuming repair and revision. Assessing the incidence and types of biologic and prosthetic complications and the timing of such complications is helpful so that the underlying causes can be addressed during the treatment planning process. Furthermore, identification of patient demographics, patient-, implant-, and site-specific factors associated with such complications may allow for more comprehensive risk assessment during treatment planning.

Overall, dental implants have a high survival rate. Identification of the incidence of both biologic and prosthetic complications and minimizing their impact in patients with dental implants is critical to overall implant success. Utilization of careful treatment planning and dental implant fixtures, surgical protocols, and prosthetic designs that reduce complication rates can improve patient acceptance and outcomes. Further research is necessary to fully assess complication rates and risk factors.

Underlying the human ability to collaborate is theory-of-mind (ToM), the ability to infer the hidden mental states that drive others to act. Here, we develop Bayesian Delegation, a decentralized multi-agent learning mechanism with these abilities. Bayesian Delegation enables agents to rapidly infer the hidden intentions of others by inverse planning. We test Bayesian Delegation in a suite of multi-agent Markov decision processes inspired by cooking problems. On these tasks, agents with Bayesian Delegation coordinate both their high-level plans (e.g., what sub-task they should work on) and their low-level actions (e.g., avoiding getting in each other's way). When matched with partners that act using the same algorithm, Bayesian Delegation outperforms alternatives. Bayesian Delegation is also a capable ad hoc collaborator and successfully coordinates with other agent types even in the absence of prior experience. Finally, in a behavioral experiment, we show that Bayesian Delegation makes inferences similar to human observers about the intent of others. Together, these results argue for the centrality of ToM for successful decentralized multi-agent collaboration.
It is still not fully understood what pretreatment is best for achieving maximum tightness for pit and fissure sealings (PFS).

This study investigated microleakage of PFS placed after etching with phosphoric acid or after the application of self-etching primers/adhesives (SEPA).

131 third molars were assigned to ten groups. In Hel-P, Helioseal® was applied after phosphoric acid etching. In the other groups, SEPA were used (Dyr-AP Adper™ Prompt™ L-Pop™, Dyract® Seal; Bea BeautiSealant Primer and Paste; Hel-Exp Experimental primer, Helioseal®; Hel-Cl Clearfil™ SE Bond
, Helioseal®). Specimens were stored in distilled water at 37°C (28 days), followed by 3500 thermocycles and staining with 5% methylene blue (M) or 5% silver nitrate (S). After methylene blue staining and sectioning, microleakage was assessed light microscopically. During silver nitrate staining, specimens were dissolved by 32% HCl and remaining PFS were evaluated under a SEM.

Tightness, percentage of penetrated area, and maximum dye penetration were best for Hel-P and Hel-Cl (p < 0.05).

Phosphoric acid etching of enamel and Clearfil™ SE Bond resulted in the best sealing quality. Methylene blue staining allowed the evaluation of more criteria (fissure shape, voids, sealant penetration depth) compared to silver nitrate.

In addition, significant amount of teaching is carried out through human brain demonstrations, due to limited opportunities for cadaveric dissection. However, reports suggest that students often attend these demonstrations with limited preparation, which detrimentally impacts their learning. In the context of student learning, greater levels of engagement and intrinsic motivation (IM) are associated with better academic performance. However, the maintenance of engagement and the IM of students in neuroanatomy is often challenging for educators. Therefore, this study aimed to explore the role of prelaboratory assignments (PLAs) in the improvement of academic performance, augmentation of engagement and enhancement of IM in occupational therapy students enrolled in a human neuroanatomy course. One cohort of students in the course were expected to complete PLAs prior to each brain demonstration session.
