Most of the items identified by ABC-VEN and FSN-XYZ were Category one, i.e., mainly vital costly products and a few fast-moving items with high closing inventory values, respectively, suggesting close supervision. However, several issues became impediments. Hence, facilities should alleviate the bottlenecks and monitor the stock status to prevent theft and stock out.
Patients with long-term neurological conditions, such as Parkinson's disease (PD), are particularly vulnerable to the public health measures taken to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. The inaccessibility of center-based rehabilitation further aggravated their motor dysfunctions as well as mental distress, leading to exacerbation of motor and non-motor symptoms, high healthcare utilization and worsened health-related quality of life (HRQOL).

This study aimed to evaluate the feasibility, safety, and preliminary effects of the mHealth-delivered home-based mindfulness yoga program on functional balance, motor symptoms, mental health and HRQOL in patients with PD.

This prospective, single-arm, non-randomized feasibility study adopted a sequential explanatory mixed-method design. Adults (aged ≥ 18) with a clinical diagnosis of idiopathic Parkinson's disease (Hoehn and Yahr stage I to III) who were able to stand unaided and walk with or without an assistive device were enrolled via convenience sampling.

Home-baservention duration of at least 8 weeks to enhance the psychophysiological effects.
Body mass estimation is of paramount importance for paleobiological studies, as body size influences numerous other biological parameters. In mammals, body mass has been traditionally estimated using regression equations based on measurements of the dentition or limb bones, but for many species teeth are unreliable estimators of body mass and postcranial elements are unknown. This issue is exemplified in several groups of extinct mammals that have disproportionately large heads relative to their body size and for which postcranial remains are rare. In these taxa, previous authors have noted that the occiput is unusually small relative to the skull, suggesting that occiput dimensions may be a more accurate predictor of body mass.

The relationship between occipital condyle width (OCW) and body mass was tested using a large dataset (2127 specimens and 404 species) of mammals with associated in vivo body mass. OCW was found to be a strong predictor of body mass across therian mammals, with regression models oon has previously been problematic (e.g., "creodonts" and other extinct Paleogene mammals).
OCW-based regression models provide an alternative method of estimating body mass to traditional craniodental and postcranial metrics and are highly accurate despite the broad taxonomic scope of the dataset. Because OCW accurately predicts body mass in most therian mammals, it can be used to estimate body mass in taxa with no close living analogues without concerns of insufficient phylogenetic bracketing or extrapolating beyond the bounds of the data. This, in turn, provides a robust method for estimating body mass in groups for which body mass estimation has previously been problematic (e.g., "creodonts" and other extinct Paleogene mammals).
The influence of burnout, academic engagement, and their interaction in dropout intention among medical students should be further studied. Current research shows its consequences are relevant, however, there is little understanding on burnout and academic engagement moderation in dropout intention. The current study tested a model that relates the effects of coping strategies, social support satisfaction, general distress on academic engagement, burnout, and dropout intention, on medical students.

Throughan online survey a non-probabilistic sample of one Medical Faculty's 1st- and 2nd-year studentswas recruited. Cross-sectional data were collected using psychometric instruments (Maslach Burnout Inventory - Student Survey, Social Support Satisfaction Scale for College Students, Brief COPE Scale for College Students, University Student Engagement Inventory, and Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale), sociodemographic and academic variables, and analyzed using structural equation modeling.

532 students (76 with burnout. Medical Schools should develop interventions to prevent dropout intention, tackle students' stress and academic challenges, and develop their academic engagement levels.
Final-year undergraduate medical students often do not feel well prepared for their start of residency training. Self-assessment of competences is important so that medical trainees can take responsibility for their learning. In this study, we investigated how final-year medical students self-assessed their competences as they neared their transition to postgraduate training. The aim was to identify areas for improvement in undergraduate training.

In the academic year 2019/2020, a national online survey was sent to final-year undergraduate medical students via their respective medical schools. The survey included ten facets of competence (FOC) most relevant for beginning residents. Panobinostat The participants were asked to self-assess their competence for each FOC on a 5-point Likert scale (1 strongly disagree to 5 strongly agree). We established an order of self-assessed FOC performance by means and calculated paired t-tests. Gender differences were assessed with independent t-tests.

A total of 1083 students fromsed competences may be useful to monitor competence development during undergraduate training.
Intestinal epithelial barrier dysfunction predisposes to many gastrointestinal, metabolic, and psychological disorders. A flavonoid rich extract of Glycyrrhiza glabra (FREG) has previously been reported to possess anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antiulcer properties.

To investigate the effect of FREG (GutGard
) on restoring intestinal barrier function in tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) stimulated human colonic adenocarcinoma cell monolayer (Caco-2) and 2,4,6-Trinitrobenzenesulfonic acid (TNBS) induced ulcerative colitis in rats.

In invitro, human intestinal Caco-2 cell monolayers were treated with TNF-α in the presence or absence of FREG and the paracellular permeability to FITC-conjugated 4-kD dextran (FD4) was measured to evaluate protection against the barrier dysfunction. In invivo, intestinal barrier dysfunction was induced in male albino Wistar rats via intrarectal instillation of TNBS. Subsequently, the rats were treated orally with either FREG at 6.25, 12.5, and 25mg/kg body weight, or epithelial barrier integrity indicating its potential in protecting from implications of leaky gut.
The study findings support the protective action of FREG on intestinal epithelial barrier integrity indicating its potential in protecting from implications of leaky gut.
Previous studies on the relationship between ACE I/D, ACE2 G8790A and CYP11B2-344T/C gene polymorphisms and essential hypertension (EH) were inconsistent. Moreover, few studies have reported the combined effect of these gene polymorphisms and noise exposure on EH. The purpose of this study was to explore the combined and separate effects of ACE I/D, ACE2 G8790A and CYP11B2-344T/C gene polymorphisms and noise on EH among steelworkers.

A case-control study was conducted on 725 male workers between March 2014 and July 2014 in the Tangsteel Company, China. The noise exposure of the workers were measured. Logistic regression and crossover analysis were used to analyse the effects of the interactions on the EH among steelworkers. GMDR was used to determine the best combination model of gene-noise interactions.

Multivariate logistic regression showed that noise exposure increased the odds of EH, and the OR is 1.52 (95% CI 1.04-2.22). The risk of having EH for ACE I/D DD genotype carriers was 1.99 times that for II genotype carriers (95% CI 1.14-3.51). There was a negative additive interaction between ACE2 G8790A and CYP11B2-344T/C on EH (U3 =  - 2.221, P = 0.026, and S = 0.128) and a positive multiplicative interaction between ACE I/D and CYP11B2-344T/C on essential hypertension (P = 0.041). In addition, there was no significant gene-noise interaction model through the GMDR method after adjusting the confounders.

The ACE DD genotype may make men susceptible to EH. Simultaneously carrying the DD genotype of ACE I/D and the TC genotype of CYP11B2-344T/C increased the risk of EH.

The screw path of lumbar pedicle screws in the vertebral body has certain variability. It is not clear whether the screw paths in different directions can obtain the same pull-out resistance. This study intends to use CT (Computed Tomography) to measure the Hounsfield unit (HU value) around the screw paths in different parts of the lumbar vertebral body to obtain the bone mineral density value of the corresponding parts which will provide some reference for the direction of lumbar pedicle screw placement.

This retrospective study included 200 patients with lumbar degenerative diseases selected randomly from the case base and the patient's basic information was recorded. L1-L5 vertebral body was divided equally into the upper, middle and lower 1/3, which was consistent with the three sagittal entry directions of the pedicle screw head tilt, parallel endplate and caudal tilt, and the HU values were measured by CT cross-sectional scanning to indirectly reflect the local bone density values. The paired t-testesistance of the lumbar pedicle screws, the placement direction of L1 and L2 in the sagittal position may be as parallel to the endplate as possible; L3, L4, and L5 may be as appropriate as possible to the tail tilt theoretically.
Although further follow-up studies are needed, based on the analysis of the statistical results, we speculate that from the perspective of obtaining the best pull-out resistance of the lumbar pedicle screws, the placement direction of L1 and L2 in the sagittal position may be as parallel to the endplate as possible; L3, L4, and L5 may be as appropriate as possible to the tail tilt theoretically.
Improper occipitocervical alignment after occipitocervical fusion (OCF) may lead to devastating complications, such as dysphagia and/or dyspnea. The occipital to C2 angle (O-C2a), occipital and external acoustic meatus to axis angle (O-EAa) have been used to evaluate occipitospinal alignment. However, it may be difficult to identify the inferior endplate of the C2 vertebra in patients with C2-3 Klippel-Feil syndrome (KFS). The purpose of this study aimed to compare four different parameters for predicting dysphagia after OCF in patients with C2-3 KFS.

There were 40 patients with C2-3 KFS undergoing OCF between 2010 and 2019. Radiographs of these patients were collected to measure the occipital to C3 angle (O-C3a), O-C2a, occipito-odontoid angle (O-Da), occipital to axial angle (Oc-Axa), and narrowest oropharyngeal airway space (nPAS). The presence of dysphagia was defined as the patient complaining of difficulty or excess endeavor to swallow. Patients were divided into two groups according to whether they had postoperative dysphagia.
