Would you like to admire the Northern Lights and the starry night while you're relaxing in your glass igloo? You can at Hotel Kakslauttanen in Kakslauttanen, Finland. The Igloo Village of Hotel Kakslauttanen in Finland offers visitors 20 glass igloos that provide an incredible view of the Aurora Borealis (known as Northern Lights) from the comfort of their own small hut. The two-person igloos include a toilet and a bed (they do provide the option for an extra bed), while the four-person igloos include their own toilet and a shower. Besides the igloos, the hotel does also offer regular rooms and log cabins. The cabins are well-equipped with a kitchen, a sauna, a shower and a toilet. As for activities, there are two husky farms near the hotel and you can go for a sleigh ride while being drawn by the dogs (or by reindeers). There are also activities like horseback riding, ice fishing, skiing and snowboarding. In the summer, you can go hiking with huskies, go berry picking, fishing and mountain biking. A night in the ice igloo costs about 330€ per person, breakfast included.
