Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 - Combos That Are Easy to Use

Easy to Fold

It should be easy to unfold and fold the car seat, no matter if you are storing it in your trunk, or in a closet. The best combos we've tested feature an easy one-handed fold that is compact and sturdy enough to use for long walks. They're also easy to maneuver, moving effortlessly over bumps and uneven surfaces. We've seen some combinations that can only be attached or disengaged using straps which could feel like an extra step and make it difficult for parents to ensure that the car seat is secured properly.

The Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the Thule Urban Glide 2 have also scored very well in our ease-of-use tests. Both come with one wheel that's easy to push with one hand. Both have one front wheel that is easy to push (one-handed!). They also come with a versatile swing wheel, which is ideal for running errands and shopping. The only downside is that they're quite heavy and can be difficult to lift when a baby is in the car seat.

Easy to Assemble

It even comes with a quick-start guide that makes putting this system together a breeze. Other models we tested such as the UPPAbaby Minu, UPPAbaby Vista v2, Thule Urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also relatively easy to assemble. In contrast, the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo is difficult to put together as it requires two steps: connecting the lower anchors and using straps that go over the bottom of the carrier. It's also heavy, and it takes two hands to snap the carrier into the base and detach it from the base.

In our tests, we took around 5 minutes to assemble the UPPAbaby v2 Cruz. It's a fairly quick process when you consider the time saved by not having to remove each piece. The toddler seat can be put together and detached easily on most of these models.
