Cats Just Want To Have Fun


When animals live in the wild, Mother Nature takes care of their needs. When we raise domestic animals - dogs, cats, that live with us, it is absolutely our responsibility to take care of their needs and provide them comfort.

If you need to change your antifreeze make sure your clean up any spills. Dogs that don't have access to clean unfrozen water will drink whatever they can find. This includes gutter water which can contain antifreeze, oil, or other household hazardous waste.

I think this part is very important when dealing with our companion animals as I have found that our thoughts are very closely tied in with what is happening in their lives - also the more you think that something is possibly going to happen, you then focus on it and surprise (not!) a self-fulfilling prophesy!

Cats spend a lot of time sleeping, and according to research, they actually spend up to two thirds of their life sleeping!! Now, that is a sound reason to get your cat a comfortable bed, or make its favourite napping spots as comfortable as you can. Some choices include round and furry cuddle-type beds, or bouncy cushions that create a round circle where your cat can snuggle in.

And if you do not have a radiator, do not worry. There are other pet beds that do the trick nicely. The infrared heating bed plugs into the wall and heats up, so that you can just place a soft fabric over it and you have a heated bed for the kitty. Or he can warm up a self-heating pad all by himself. It heats up with the animal body temperature.

fluffy pet bed If you have a cat that goes outside be careful with starting your vehicle as cats like to curl up in warm engines. A good thing to do is bang on the hood of your vehicle so any cats hidden there will jump out. If a cat is on your engine and you start it, the cat will be injured or killed.

Try giving her ice cubes in her water dish. Of course, some cats turn these into toys and make quite a drippy dangerous mess on the kitchen floor. Other cats, however, quickly figure out how nice this cold water is and they learn how to spread the cold water all over their face and bodies.
